I absolutely love this little place. It is small but mighty with its offerings. So many wonderful things to buy and enjoy.. a little pricy but worth it. I have told everyone I know about it!! I order the chicken shawarma. Without a doubt one of the tastiest wraps I have ever eaten. I will tell you that when I get it in my head to have one it's not long before I am there getting it. So very tasty!! I actually ordered the chicken shawarma seasoning from Amazon in an attempt to try it on my own. The owner is an awesome guy as is the young man on the grill making all the wonderful sandwiches they offer! Hope they never go out of biz! Please go and give them a try you will not be sorry. I had a very disappointing experience at Bow Café in Norwell. The food itself was average at best--around a 5/10--but what really made this visit stand out was the poor customer service. The woman at the register (short hair) was rushed, dismissive, and frankly disrespectful. When I tried to place my order, she seemed irritated, rolled her eyes when I misspoke, and told me to "stop confusing" her. She also made comments like, "I know you've been to other places--my place is different," instead of helping guide me through the menu. It created a very uncomfortable and tense environment. I left feeling anxious, which is not something you should experience after a simple food order. In contrast, a gentleman working there was kind and professional, which I appreciated. To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt despite asking, and I believe I may have been overcharged. I ordered a Greek salad with added chicken and a chicken shawarma panini, and my total came to $50. My mother's order was supposed to be removed and paid separately, but without a receipt, I have no way to confirm whether that was done correctly. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more respectful and welcoming environment for customers. read more

Absolutely amazing little cafe and store. The owner is so so friendly and the service is great. It's a great place to pop in to grab snacks (they have a wonderful selection of dips and spreads) and their sandwiches are unbelievable. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma panini. Food definitely is delicious, but overpriced. I got the chicken shawarma entree which doesn't come with much chicken. They really gave small portions of everything. Not much rice or hummus for a $20 plate. I also see in other reviews that the salad came with feta on top and mine did not. The plate should either cost $5 less, or actually fill the plate. This restaurant always smells delicious! As soon as you walk in, you can tell you're about to eat something fresh and tasty. The owners know their repeat customers by name and are always friendly and conversational. The space is very clean and the price is worth it for the quality of the food. I really hate to have to be the first one to give this establishment a low score but as an Elite Yelper, I have to give my honest opinion so here goes. 5, score for the cleanliness of the establishment 5, score for the pleasant way we were treated the moment we walked in 2, is what I would score the taste of the food. We ordered two different things, one was chicken shawarma the other was ground meat kabob. Neither one of them was all that tasty. I actually gave my husband mine as well as i didn't care for his shawarma or my kabob. I think they both needed a sauce or something. I might as well mention this too, a woman came in and ordered two greek salads with chicken and when she mentioned that (prior to me getting my sandwich) I had wished I ordered that but then I saw the chicken on the grill and realized that was going to be split between two salads, it wasn't much chicken at all. Maybe I'm used to working in Boston and getting salads with alot of meat on it and or seasoned shawarmas. My husband says maybe it's because it was a Lebanese shawarma and not a Greek shawarma with tahini or tzatziki sauce - something seemed to be missing. read more

Clean place with huge selection of salads, wraps, and grab-n-gob items. Really good food when they get the order right. It's best to order online but they willl still get it wrong at times. Nothng worse than getting all the way home and biting into a hummus wrap with when you ordered falafel wrap. Some days they have the best falafel wrap then it's medicore the next. Armenian meatloaf is hit or miss. Fattoush salad, chicken kabob or falafel platters are consistently good. The wife is super friendly and welcoming but her husband isn't, unless he knows you. read more

We came to visit families and friends and found this wonderful Mediterranean restaurant. We are so happy to have our late lunch here! The combination of their beef shawarma with the spiced rice is the best I've ever tasted. We also tried their sweet (sorry I don't remember the name) and the sujuk (American sausage). Bo Cafe Catered our large (46 guests) home baby shower this weekend. The food was spectacular in quality, presentation, quantity, variety and thoughtfulness. All guests were very excited about the tastes and variety of dishes. Everything was labeled with regard to diet if there was gluten and nuts etc. It was beautifully done. I came here after seeing this place on a local Facebook page, and was so glad I did! I ordered the beef kebab wrap, which was one of the most delicious wraps I have ever had. The kebab was warm, spicy and perfectly cooked, along with a variety of veggies - pickles, thinly sliced red onions, tomatoes, and so much more spices and amazing goodness. It was hard to slow down to even figure out what I was tasting, because it was just pure perfection. The grilled pita wrap was soft, crispy on the outside from the press, and absolutely delicious. The cook along with the woman handling the register were both friendly and welcoming. They have a huge variety of salads, hummus and dips, wraps, sandwiches, and other items both made to order and available for takeout. I will definitely be back to sample more items soon! read more

This review is for service only. I understand this is a family owned small business but the service is extremely slow due to their unorganized and dysfunctional operation. Most of the items are overpriced with no price transparency, meaning they just charge whatever they ring up. They forget to gave the kitchen my order until I saw people came after me left with their food. I politely asked and the woman ( I think she is the owner) said, what can we do? Well, you can prepare and train your staff before you open the door for business. I can't recommend this place. If you have no patience waiting for your food, don't come. Most of the items, you can get somewhere else cheap or online. Not worth your trip if you are thinking about trying something new/different. read more

Just retired after 45+ years in up scale restaurants-that qualifies me as a fussy customer. Have frequented this place several times, always great fresh food, impeccably clean, great staff always a pleasure to experience! I could possibly eat here several times a week! It's great ALL THE TIME, which is a challenge on a daily, weekly , monthly and yearly basis! They care and it shows, GO YOU WILL ENJOY! Among the best falafel on the South Shore, it's warm, dense, fragrant and boldly spiced. Pieces run $1.25 each and come with a side of pickled turnips, meaning you could do a light lunch for $5. The shish tawouk wrap (marinated chicken, pickle, garlic sauce, lettuce or cabbage and a LOT of red onion) is a tightly rolled delight that may have been a touch underdressed, although it wasn't short on flavor. The chicken was warmed but not cooked to order, and with nobody in front of me, I struggled to understand the 15 minute wait - I'll definitely return being careful to avoid peak meal hours. Love the small but mighty display of Mediterranean grocery's and pantry items, the grab-and-go refrigerated goods, and tempting bags of za'atar chips. Giving those a go next time. read more
