Had breakfast with a family member and we split the cinnamon roll, it was about 4inch in diameter. The icing is more powder sugar and not as much cream cheese flavor. It had a nice cinnamon flavor not to over powering. We ate it so quickly forgot to take a photo. I had the We Call Her Lori. I had the ham and cheese version. It was a little different as the cheese was baked on top and was quite cheesy. I selected to have the biscuit which had a light texture. Due to Covid-19 when we arrived they were at capacity, they asked us to wait in our car, took cell number and put us on the list. I received a confirmation txt. Not from CO I love green chili sauce. I had the breakfast burrito with bacon. The hashbrowns were really tasty inside the burrito. I had it with bacon. Great size and smothered in sauce and cheese. It is served with a side of refried beans adding a little variety. I will definitely be back. On the back of the menu there is a little history to this establishment. What's crazy is we lived here in 18/19 and never visited this spot but this go round since moving back we came round for breakfast pretty immediately and MAN! Definitely the culprit of me being unable to maintain my macros on the weekends - seriously every, dang thing is delicious. I typically go for the French toast plate with the home fries, eggs and bacon, the partner is always gobbling up the eggs Benedict which he has a deep and abiding lifelong love for and reassures me B & B does it right. I am a big sweet breakfast fan but I don't obsess over their cinnamon roll, don't get me wrong, it's super delicious but there's something about the icing that doesn't hit it for me. Sheeesh! I was excited to come here based on all the good reviews, but disappointed I was. The whole place had slight racist undertones, from names of food items on the menu, the way they had all the *Latinos in the back and all super white servers up front, to the giant blue lives matter memorabilia on the wall. I ordered the breakfast green chile pork with the beans and rice. The pork was delicious, the beans were bland and the rice was spoiled. My husband and I had to run down to the Springs today, so we decided to swing through Castle Rock to check out the breakfast far at B&B Cafe....plus I had a coupon from the Entertainment Book. It was a win-win stop for us; a great meal AND a coupon. I'm a fan of huevos rancheros and it is almost always my "go to" choice for breakfast. The green chili at B&B had a nice kick -- the perfect mix of spice and flavor. My eggs over medium weren't perfect and my hash browns could have been a little browner, but the excellent service and the great coffee balanced it all out. I drink a lot of water with my meals and not having to wait for a water refill makes a big impression on me. The coffee was fresh tasting and the top-offs were frequent! My husband ordered a side of bacon griddle cakes - holy fluffy pancakes studded with chunks of bacon. Just delicious with a bit of butter melted on top. He preferred his 1/2 of the order with syrup. I liked the atmosphere and you could tell that there were a lot of regulars in there that the wait staff interacted with -- that's a good side in a little locally owned place. I definitely will stop in here next time we are down in the Castle Rock area and look forward to checking out the lunch menu items. read more

Husband likes to leave early on our trips to beat the Denver traffic so by the time we hit the south side of Denver area we are ready for breakfast. On the RV trip we stopped at B&B and ordered breakfast to eat in the RV. OMG. I'm in love. Don't drive by Wilcox Street in Castle Rock without stopping in. I had the Mr. Bauer's Breakfast. What can I say except my tastebuds were so happy!! Fruit, granola and yogurt sauce along with butter and syrup and wonderful pancakes made for a very satisfying and filling breakfast. I had some leftover that I heated up 2 days later and it was just as good! Husband got a Benedict and he loves his eggs poached and a little runny. He judges breakfast by the perfection of the eggs and these were perfect A unique menu with food that is made with love and the finest ingredients. Service is great! Looks like a well oiled machine. Ambiance filled chatty locals and charming decor. Portions are generous but that's where the good ends. The quality of coffee is subpar and that is being generous. The aroma was reminiscent of high end cigarettes. I could not finish a whole cup. When I asked for a small juice I was presented with a 14-16 oz. Plastic cup of juice. A simple "we have one size" would have been nice and I would have passed. If you are ordering hot cocoa just know it comes right out of a packet and if they have time they will stir it completely and serve it with a pile of whipped cream. I ordered a quiche which with raw crust and full of grease. I believe it was microwaved. I tried to eat it but was unable to do so. Sent it back and they were nice about it. The hubs ordered breakfast tacos, served in tortillas big enough for burritos but slightly filled with eggs and fix'ns. The food was not quite hot. We felt like they sacrifice quality and taste for large portions that are over the top. read more
