The place was very clean and had nice decor. The menu had a good variety but Greek food seemed to be the specialty. We ordered traditional gyro combo plates and they did not disappoint! We had carryout from here this past Sunday. We tried the Greek chicken and chicken kabobs both were good the kabobs came on a piece of pita bread that was delicious. Not great but not bad either. This reminds me a lot of the old Charcoal Delights restaurant minus the boosted chicken. Gyro was really greasy but not bad (true Greek place with a little grease in every bite) and they really heap on the meat and onions and plenty of fries. I finished with a strawberry milkshake Whig's was not bad. Not as artificial tasting as I expected so big plus for B&B. The restaurant was very clean and modern (including the bathroom) and the music was not too loud. The staff was exceptionally friendly which goes a long way for me. I walked in for a carry out Gyro. The restaurant had a good number of pick ups while I was waiting; so I thought 'must be good'. The restaurant appears to be comfortable, and the smells enticing. I got my order, the price was reasonable. But did I have a surprise when I got home and tasted this gyro. This is the first gyro that was made right-- the ends of the meat were crunchy, crisp not over cooked. The tzatziki sauce [home made] was perfect - I ordered double - and I truly enjoyed the meal; so much that I made lunch and dinner out of it. I really wanted to like this place because of the reviews staff are great super friendly the place is clean they have a lot of parking but that's kinda were it ends gyro meat was lacking I'm used to getting a nice plump gyro received a small container of sauce and two slices of tomato for a little over $10.00 and the pita hadn't been warmed up so it kept breaking apart its a new restaurant so hopefully they improve over time read more

We've now visited here 4 times and are so impressed. The restaurant has typical Chicago lunch items, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, and Italian beefs, which were all very good. Very fresh food clearly made-to-order by friendly owners. But where this place excels is the Greek foods. The gyros, both regular and chicken are piled high with fresh meat and tomatoes and onions. The chicken lemon soup is so fresh and delicious. It's clearly made in house and it's so flavorful. The restaurant and restrooms are clean. This is worth many more visits!! So enjoyable! read more

I didn't realize this restaurant has the most AMAZING Chicken & Lemon soup but their Gyros are to DIE for! I had to order a little bit of everything for the family....but the SOUP!!!! Made fresh daily! The Gyros and Grilled Chicken Sandwich was fire! Their "to go" containers are even vented which prevents fried food from getting soggy. Onion rings, Mozz sticks! The olives were plump and meaty, not the "peanuts" I've had at other ethnic eateries. There were large slices of feta and the peperocini was huge. The gyro was lean and not overly salty. Food is pretty good. Gyros are best in town. They have a huge variety so you will find something that you like that they do well. They are so friendly and service is on top. Third time stopping and have been pleased every time. First time had a gyros - it is a better meat combination than other gyros joints and not over seasoned. Fries were done just right. Second visit was a cheeseburger. Fresh grilled, good flavor and terrific bun. (not the warming tray burgers of some places). Third was todays and I had Italian beef. Visited when they first opened. The cooks seemed angry and hostile towards me for no reason. I almost left right away but the woman working at the front counter was nice and tried very hard to be accommodating despite her coworkers. Very excited to see a new Greek restaurant open up nearby and to try their gyros and Greek salad just to get an idea of how good they are. Gus the owner is very nice and friendly. Well, the gyros lived up to expectations. Grecian delight meat and they serve it with two pitas which is genius, since one is never enough. I agree with other reviews that they could use a few more tomatoes or a little more onion but the sauce is delicious, the gyros meat is delicious and it makes up for it. I would've taken a picture, but I devoured it. Greek salad looked pretty good. I haven't ate it yet I just took a picture. I will definitely be coming back for more. UPDATE: Greek salad was delicious. Love the Greek dressing. Not everybody likes them, but you can even get anchovies on the side which I love. The salad is not a traditional Greek salad. It's a typical American Greek salad, but Gus, the owner advised me that he would gladly make a traditional Greek salad if I call in ahead of time that will be my next order for sure. Today was my first time going to this restaurant. The food was great and the customer service was also great. Super friendly!

We have tried B&B a number of times, always looking for the delicious Greek specialties of Dengeos and other Greek restaurants in the northern suburbs but have been disappointed as to the quality. The gyros is acceptable but not as flavorful and prepared as Dengeos. The lemon cream of chicken rice soup is very lemony and of a thin consistency, not like that at local restaurants Hillside and Triangle. Most disappointing were the chicken kabobs as those weren't just white breast meat as most Greek restaurant chefs prepare but a mix of white and dark with pieces that were grizzly and jointed. I threw most of it out as I love the Greek breast pieces that is traditional for kabobs at this price. Loved their Greek potatoes and friendly service. The dining area and outdoor seating are esthetically very nice and clean. I probably will try burgers or hot dogs on our next visit as those typically are hard to mess up with preparation. I do want this restaurant to succeed so hope they see this review and look at how to improve their Greek food. read more

Terrible experience . I know they are new but it was seriously horrible . Hot dog buns were HARD. Couldn't even eat it . Fries were 1/2 cooked . Gyro meat was crumbly like ground beef . Disgusting . After we brought our food home and realized it was really bad , I called the restaurant. I explained how bad our food was . The owner replied .... Oh really . I do not post reviews but me and my family's experience was not good. Cashier seemed to be ill trained. We ordered a gyro, chicken caesar pita, pizza puff, and the 1/2 chicken. The portions were average but quality was not there. Potatoes in the chicken dinner taste of being frozen potatoes. Gyro and chicken pita were bland and relied on their sauces. These other reviews are misleading and untruthful with all honesty. Will not be coming back. If you would like the SAME food with better quality, taste, and PRICE.
