i am in a new home, and i had an issue that the water stopped coming out of my showerhead (but…read morestill came out of the bottom faucet to the tub) i sent him photos of everything before he came. He told me he had to replace the internal cartridge to the main faucet which would cost $325 including the service call. After he installed it and it was working he showed me that the push in/out knob that controls the on/off for the shower head was in the off position which was the reason it did not work! it wasn't broken and didn't need anything! when I said you are a plumber, you should have checked and told me about that first, his answer was," we don't know all Faucets, consider it a learning lesson". I called my old plumber that I used at my prior home and he told me absolutely any plumber would check the basic on/off knobs first before doing any work. Do not use this company!! i may be the idiot who didn't know this was just a push /pull knob but this company is not ethical at its worst, or at the very least, not knowledgeable and incompetent.
