Went to B Sweet Bistro from a tip. It was a great tip! Black Owned restaurant, nicely decorated, service was good and the food was delicious The owner came out to check on us to make sure everything was good and we were satisfied. I would definitely go back again when in New Orleans.

i always make sure to stop by this place when in town! not the most cozy ambience, but still cute for a cloudy day and the customer service is always sweet and efficient. haven't actually sat down to eat food here yet (i definitely must!) but so far the mini king cake, little cakes, and mini sweet potato pies have been killer. be sure to shop this black owned business when looking for a sweet treat!!

While in New Orleans in celebration of our 21st wedding anniversary, my hubby and I, had a list of NOLA restaurants that we wanted to check out because they each were highly rated for their authentic food. B Sweet Bistro & Bakery was one of those highly rated restaurants and after getting to taste the DELICIOUS-NESS for ourselves (visited on Saturday, 09/28/2024), we are in total agreement w/ this assessment! Here is why I'm giving B Sweet Bistro & Bakery, a well deserved five-star Yelp review: 1.) Food: We ordered the Red Beans & Rice, Gumbo, Seafood Beignets stuffed with Crabmeat, and for dessert, a slice of "Wife Me Bride Cake" to go. Every dish was fresh, hot, full of flavor, and had the best plated presentation! Of course, I had to wash everything down with a refreshing mimosa drink! (okay, it was two drinks ;) 2.) Customer Service: Kudos to the talented chef, who is also the owner! She came out to greet us & ask how everything was w/ our food. We of course had no complaints, other than I ate way toooo much food & now my jeans were feelin' just a bit more tighter then when I walked in!! :) She really was super nice & we really appreciated her taking the time to talk w/ us. 3.) Vibes: Eating at B Sweet Bistro & Bakery, really is a WHOLE VIBE! From the R&B music playing overhead that makes you want to dance while you're eating ;), the super cute pink decor, & the huge painted "704 Rampart"wall mural that makes for an awesome photo backdrop (see pic included in this review of my hubby & I striking a pose in front of the mural during our visit) Additional Helpful Tidbits: -- parking: B Sweet Bistro & Bakery is located on N. Rampart St. (across from Louis Armstrong Park) w/ street parking all along the street. We got lucky on the day we visited & found a parking spot right away, located directly across the street. -- indoor seating only To sum it up, you are missing out if you haven't yet visited B Sweet Bistro & Bakery! Till next time! Rebecca visiting from Austin, Texas

Omg!!!! Let me just say the food here was the best I had during my vacation to New Orleans!!!!!!!!!! Those boudin balls were DELICIOUS!!!! Full of so much flavor... crunchy on the outside and soft / moist in the inside. I wish I wouldn't bought more. The wings were delicious also. Well seasoned and I loved the sweet n spicy sauce on it. The wait time after ordering wasn't long either. This spot was such a vibe!

One of my go-to spots for fried fish plates and desserts! Everything I've tried here has been delicious. The gumbo, cornbread, fried wings, king cakes, and stuffed cakes are all made to perfection. I usually grab my order to-go, but they do have a seating area if you want to dine in. They make custom cakes which I ordered one for a birthday, and it was a hit. I bought a praline king cake for my friends and that went quick and everyone enjoyed! For authentic food in the Quarter, I always recommend B Sweet Bistro

My food came out hot and fresh. I LOVED the 704 wings! You have to try those. That sauce baby! Oh my. I came in 30 minutes prior to closing so they were nice enough to pack my food in to go boxes and let me stay up until they closed. I'd come here again and again for those wings. Shout out to the young man taking orders at the counter- so sweet and professional at what he's doing! Kudos to the chef for my delicious food.

In in town for essence festival and I needed something quick and not too heavy to put in my stomach before I headed to the convention center and so I stopped by B Sweet Bistro. I believe I hear someone mention it on Instagram as a spot with really good gumbo so I came to try it for myself. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and she helped ring me up. The establishment is very cute and girly and they sell desserts and sweets along with beignets. They also had a brunch menu as well. Now I will say, it didn't seem that busy to me when I came in(about 11AM on a Friday) but it took almost 30 minutes for my food to come out and all I ordered was a small bowl of gumbo. I'm giving grace though because it's essence weekend. I asked one of the young men to check in my food and they upgraded me to a full bowl of gumbo for the wait. I will say I guess jr was worth the wait because this was probably one of the best bowls of gumbo I had on my visit.

Leaving out heading to the airport and had one more stop and I'm so glad we did stop The outside of the restaurant is bustling with some much activity with all the surrounding attractions . Parker's across the Restaurant and walked in and immediately met the owner . She was extremely nice but also handling her business. This is , I loved the way the customer services was rendered by the cashier and I let her know that . But on to the food ... I ordered the red beans and rice , 704 wings , Seafood Beignets stuffed with Crabmeat, Shrimp and that Crawfish cream sauce . My only dislike the wings needed a little season maybe a tad bit more salt and pepper to make that sauce on them wings explode !!! I love the detail in the food and the experience I had . I'm so glad I was able to eat and see it's worth it . Brittney was amazing and at the end of our meal she was happy to talk and even take a picture with us . So I def recommend 10 out 10

Hot sausage egg and cheese poboy

I got te hot sausage egg and cheese Poboy and it was BOMB. It's huge so you can definitely save half for later or share with someone But the flavor in everything we ate here was great.

Left a local museum and this restaurant came highly recommended. Most things were unavailable on the menu as it was the end of the day and they were about to close. It was quiet and roomy. The owner was there taking orders and preparing for the next day. She was personable and joked with us the whole time. I ordered the crabmeat beignets. They were full, rich and flavorful, lots of complex flavors that went well together and you could actually see and taste the seafood meat in it. I tasted the gumbo and it was the best gumbo I ever had. Full of meat and just the right amount of seasoning that will have you thinking about it weeks later. I was glad for the recommendation and can't wait to come back and visit.

Fish and grits swimming in creole sauce. I wish I would have taken a pic of what I left on the plate. Which was 80% of the for.

It's a Big No for me. I'm sure there's a market for this type of atmosphere, with very loud music and people screaming over the music to attempt to talk to one another. The place is tiny but that's not an issue I usually love an intimate setting but we're sitting on top of each other in small unbalanced chairs that are more appropriate for accent chairs in a kid's room. I see what they tried to do with the decor, but it's very poorly executed. The food is basic, mediocre, and nothing special. I will say every server, every greeter, and everyone who came to the table was very pleasant and very professional. The staff could hold training for other establishments. I don't think the food could improve its just their standard. The food comes out quick, the only thing freshly prepare are the scrambled eggs not showned.

Seafood Stuffed Beignets

B Sweets Bistro is AMAZING! The second we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome--genuinely some of the friendliest service I've had anywhere. They even took the time to explain crawfish flavor to my sister who was hesitant about getting the seafood beignets and the history of king cake when she blessed us with a complimentary slice of her king cake cinnamon roll, which made the experience extra special. Now the food... wow. The seafood stuffed beignets are next-level good--crispy outside, packed with savory seafood inside, absolutely unforgettable. The king cake cinnamon roll was soft, sweet, and gooey in the best way. And the seafood gumbo? Perfectly seasoned, rich, and comforting, with layers of flavor that stick with you long after the bowl is empty. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, like you're sitting down to eat at a friend's house. Ms. Brittany is very engaging, is genuinely interested in how the food made you feel, and joins in on the jokes at your table. Between the incredible food, the warm service, and the vibe, this is a spot I'll be telling everyone about. A total gem in New Orleans!

Me and my friends came here for my birthday. Nobody greeted us. We sat on the bench for about 10 minutes & wondered what was going on, 1 person (worker) was sitting down eating so I walked over and said hey we been waiting we need a table for 5, she said we may sit ourselves.. we had no idea because no one said anything. We had to put tables together for it to be big enough for us. 1 little table can't seat 5 ladies. We finally sat down looked at the menu and waited then I'm like, I think we have to go up order because no one is coming. I asked the lady and she said yes. Lol, very confusing. No signs say seat yourself or order at the counter. The food was honestly amazing. The 704 shrimp was a bit pricy for the portion size but the plating was nice. Just hate we spent 30 minutes figuring out seating and ordering.

I'll start with that, because otherwise this venue would be all about takeout. It's bright, open (30' ceiling!), nicely restored, and WELL KEPT. So often food courts are just a wreck--people's leavings everywhere. At St Roch they keep after that. Not only are there decent tables in many sizes, there's a nice marble bar as well. Now as to the food: we got going there for the $1 oysters from 3-5 at the oyster bar. Nice with a beer, and the char-broiled ones are great too. Then we went for the brisket sandwich special the charcuterie place was having for lunchtime-yuuum, and the owner couldn't be nicer. We've heard good things about the Cuban place too, so that's on the list. There's a fun Burmese place as well, and a poke/sushi place I mean to try. Also Bahamian. The places vary of course in the level of service, but the ones I've described are really nice. All in all it's a great addition to the neighborhood; worth finding out what clicks for you because it becomes a pleasant habit.
