We had 2 Icarus beers at the bar on 2/2 , but unfortuantely we spilled one over during happy hour...we were charged $13.00 per beer before moving to a table. We were definitely overcharged and waitress said this was the going rate for beers? I can believe that is the going rate for beer? No one returned our call to the manager, so disappointed!!! B2 was one of our favorite places for dinner this vacation week. Sushi rolls, fish tacos, NE clam chowda all excellent, but the Bulliet old fashions were the best I've had in a long time. Such a huge upgrade from 709. Welcome addition to Arnold Ave, adding a trendy new vibe with open front and wine cask wall with strung lights and big yet cozy bar made from ship lap! Kudos on the redesign! Sushi was on point fresh and wonderful. Appetizers were hit or miss but still better than average. Drinks were perfect. Cappuccino was rich and enjoyable to sip, from the outdoor balcony, enjoying the fire in the giant chiminea. I would love to throw a party upstairs. Great spot! read more

Sushi - old rice old fish - it looked like dog food. The jalapenos are bigger than the sushi. Smallest rolls ive ever seen. Taste 3/10 Mojitos - probably the most bitter one ive had. I'm so glad this place is open! It was out first family outing since March and we loved every little bit of it starting with the phone reservation. The host immediately understood our needs and reserved a perfect table for us. The service was great, or server could even make our 3 year old grandson comfortable and her was not left unattended. We had mushroom pizza, a burger and fish and chips. The kiddo loved his pizza so much that we ordered a second one! My husband absolutely loved his burger, it was juicy and flavorful. I had fish and chips and... OMG! It was simply a perfection: crispy crust that complemented the juiciest piece of cod you can imagine! The fish was just melting in your mouth that's how perfect it was! For dessert we tried coconut lemon cake. We will be back for that one for sure and not just once! read more

Scarpariello wings are amazing, order 2 and thank me later. Special Greek salad was good but would have benefited from more dressing or even salt. Fries were cold and flaccid - don't bother. My fiancé and I came here for our anniversary last night after really loving the sister location in Red Bank. Some of the initial reviews weren't so great, but we were determined to try it anyway - and we are SO glad we did. We started with the loaded fries from the Happy Hour menu, which were awesome. The cheese sauce tasted like it was made with real cheese, and at one point we both agreed that you could tell they were hand-made, which was something we really appreciated. Then we moved on to the mac n cheese - which we topped with lobster. It was easily the best lobster mac n cheese I've ever had, and a really great portion to share as well. Finally, we also each ordered a hot lobster roll (we're kind of into lobster), which was so tasty and very generous with the amount of lobster! We also both appreciated the actual roll, because sometimes places will serve you something that is essentially a hot dog bun.... not here! The bun was toasted just enough and complimented the flavor of the lobster excellently. Another point worth mentioning is that our waitress was excellent and asked us about the order in which we'd like to receive each plate, and the pacing was just perfect. The two of us are also really into craft beer, so we also appreciated the wide variety of beers available on the menu, as well. We were drawn to the Point Pleasant location due to their vast seafood options, and although you always have to be cautious when ordering seafood out, we were very impressed and glad we took a leap of faith. We are so excited to come back again - maybe when the upstairs is open and it's not so cold!! If you're hesitant to try this place because of the older reviews, give them a chance!! read more

I have stopped here several times, usually at happy hour since they run some very good specials. Last Wednesday we stopped in. My gf and I ordered the lobster bisque and spicy tuna roll. It was fairly busy but the staff was quick to serve. We sat at a high top because the only seats at the bar were near the bar and it was a very cold day The lobster bisque was just ok. Too thick for my liking and not much seafood in it. The spicy tuna roll was good but nothing special. I have had other things on the menu but I'll stay away from those items next time. We also had a major problem with some huge fruit fly's which I thought was a little unusual for a cold January day. That did put a damper on things as we spent most of our meal swatting them away. read more

This is a preFab type NYC wanna' be nite spot before or after a movie. The food is at best OKAY & overpriced. The bar is not well stocked. Lots of Vodka, not much Scotch or Bourbon. The bar is small, nothing cozy or inviting. The hi-tops are stiff and chairs uncomfortable. I never go there anymore-after 3 times average food, no atmosphere and poor drinks. read more

Went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Very enjoyable atmosphere. Food was delicious, had sushi as an appetizer, crab cake sandwich and cod fried fish sandwich. Loved this place!!! I'm an omnivore and my gf is a vegetarian so finding a nice local spot that serves great pub style food is always hard. Thanks to B2 bistro it won't be a problem anymore. The whole experience was great. From making reservations online, to having a table waiting for us when we arrived. Drinks were great and both regular menu and specials menu was awesome! I will say I ordered a vanilla old fashioned and was brought the wrong drink but as soon as our server realized it was corrected in less than 2 mins! Raw bar was fresh, heirloom tomato app was really good and innovative, fish and chips were succulent and fresh, fries were hot/crispy, and beyond burger was really tantalizing!
