Went there for lunch..( Happy Hour/ Dinner way too crowded). Bar was nice and bartender very attentive. Actually, we there only 4 people at the bar so .... Drinks were very good. I ordered a Lobster Roll which I never do having lived on Cape Cod where the Rolls are expensive but BEYOND... big chunks of lobster w no fillers. I decided to take a chance and was SO disappointed. For a $27 appetizer, there were NO chunks of lobster and there was more chunks of celery than anything else. A ton of french fries, thou delish , don't make up for the Lobster shortage. Wife and I just left here for lunch. We've been here several times and it's usually pretty good but not today. We both had New England clam chowder special and the soup itself had a great taste the potatoes were very undercooked. My wife had the fried chicken sandwich and she said it was very bland and had no flavor, I had the bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich and it would have been gOod except the bacon was so tough that it was hard to chew through and the bread was burnt around the edges. read more

Tried this place for the first time, despite the mixed reviews. We liked that they had an extensive Happy Hour menu, which offered several entrees and appetizers from the regular menu at approximately $3 off (nice!) The fried calamari appetizer with Korean BBQ sauce was delicious, as was the avocado crab appetizer. We had 1 specialty sushi roll each (My friend had the Christmas roll and I had a double shrimp roll) and they were both very good. We also had 2 locally brewed beers from their craft beer list (a nice assortment). The only problem is something other Yelp reviews have mentioned....constant annoying flies buzzing around in front of your face while you're trying to enjoy your meal. I'm guessing they are coming from the open air/window format. At 89 degrees and 70% percent humidity tonight, it's waaaaay to uncomfortable to eat without air conditioning. We were seated quite a ways back from the entrance so this fly problem shouldn't be occurring this far from the windows. Open air dining has its charm, but in this type of insane weather it seemed more like a management decision to save money on air conditioning than guest comfort. Visibly sweating through dinner is hardly the atmosphere anyone spending money on dining out is looking for. We'll be back...but maybe in winter, when the hot & humid dining conditions won't be a factor. read more

It's a new restaurant and I do think they have some service kinks to work out, which is typical in any new place. So far I've had the mussels twice- they are delicious! We were accidentally charged non happy hour pricing but this was fixed at our request. Cool bar. Love the atmosphere. Edison light bulbs, exposed ceiling, mural on the wall of wine barrels. Some booths too if you want a little more privacy. And bar is rectangular and open, which is really nice. Bar food is solid. Think burgers and pretzels and pizza. Nothing wrong here. Sadly, they have a sushi menu! Like totally weird for a bistro. And it's a page long and there's a ton of sushi apps to like tuna nachos and poke bowls. But, honestly, better to stick with the bar food. Wife and I tried the yellowtail poke bowl. The yellowtail was gray. Took one bite. And was like nope!!! Returned it. They took it off the bill. Ordered the tuna nachos. Totally gross. Like ground raw tuna rather than chunks. Way (I mean way too much) sauce probably designed to mask the smell of the fish, which was terrible. Hated this dish. So some sage advice, if you come here, which you should, stick to the drinks and the bar food. And stay away from the fish, especially the raw fish!! read more

I really want to love this place, or even like it. I love the atmosphere here and the service is always great! If you just want drinks and apps things are good. (The calamari is particularly good.) If you are looking for a meal, however...don't do it. I have eaten entrees here twice and both times I have been extremely disappointed. The first time I had the dry aged burger and it was not great at all. Just a bad dry burger with a bit of a funky taste. Today, I ordered the dry rub wings as an app and grilled chicken sandwich. The wings were not good, I bit one and a bunch of liquid came out. They tasted like they should have cooked longer and were fatty. I can only describe the chicken sandwich as inedible. The chicken tasted bad and had a rubbery consistency like the had fried it while it was frozen. I had 2 bites and felt ill the whole drive home. The manager did take it off the bill, and our server was excellent so there is that. With a couple of drinks apiece, wings and a Caesar salad with shrimp the bill for lunch was $71.00. For that price point, I would expect decent quality food, well prepared. I really hope they can find someone who can actually cook, as it is completely unacceptable now. read more

She was extremely accommodating while making the reservation & when it came time for us to arrive and bring some decorations up the stairs she stated "absolutely not" because we came before our 7:30 reservation. Was extremely abrupt and rude. A party of 8, ready to enjoy lots of food & drinks. My girlfriends and I attended the seafood festival and everywhere was completely mobbed including b2. We waited a half hour for a drink down the road at point lobster so we gave it a shot at b2. We tried for the upstairs bar and it was also mobbed up there. We didn't wait more than 2 minutes for our drinks and the bartenders were extremely upbeat and attentive to us even with crowds of people all over. The servers were helpful with letting us stand by the area they were getting drinks. from since there was no room. These girls provided great service to everyone so efficiently! I'm writing this because I have managed in this industry for many years and were very impressed by the speed and positive energy the b2 workers had towards everyone. We (my wife and I) began to people watch.. that's always fun.. listening to people coming out... It was mostly good.. we looked at each other and.. then stood up and just walked in.. sat at the bar.. approximately 1 minute 30 seconds.. boom the bartender.. took the order and delivered.. good timing.. we bearly finished our drinks and we got a table.. then.. we sat....... It was not long... We were told what was good so we knew kind of what to order... All bar pies forgetaboutit... The B2 trio pizza. What... It was so good.. then we had the wings.. organic wings.. all the talk.. all the flavor... Those are for real... The summer harvest salad.. had the corn.. and the hint of pineapple... the service.. all good... I've been to B2 multiple times while visiting friends and family in point beach. I came in with childhood friends tonight for drinks and a few bites to eat. Nicole took care of us and gave great service with a smile. Later in the night the taller woman bartender with lots of tattoos reluctantly helped us. She seemed annoyed and bothered to get us our drinks and help us. This isn't the first time myself along with friends and family have been serviced by her without a smile but instead with an annoyed look and tone to her voice. I'm not sure how someone with this negative attitude would be bartending at one of the areas more popular bars. The 2 stars are given to Nicole for having a nice and happy demeanor. We were hoping that Matt would be bartending since we've ALWAYS received great and positive service from him in the past. Bartender Paul and Bridget are also among our favorites but Matt is always the best with his smile and happy attitude and drinks that are always perfect. read more

Well the food is decent and the drink selection is alright, all the beers are listed by brewery, you don't know what you're actually getting. It could be an IPA, it could be an Imperial Stout or super acidic Lambic....... But the major problem is that the atmosphere is pretty much unbearable. The main problem is the music. We're being blasted by club music currently and other than us, the next age level is probably 45 pushing 50. They're completely out of touch with their location and clearly want something that they're not getting. Know your audience! read more
