This is fast food which serves everything from breakfast to Greek and ice cream in between. In my order, I received salad dressing but no salad. The meal comes with cold slaw. A pre-packaged dinner roll with no butter. The chicken was good but on the bland side and somewhat dry. The ribs were ok but a lot of fat and the sauce could use more heat. Went through the drive thru for lunch. Server was polite but didn't know the menu very well. I asked for a chicken fillet combo which is No 6. He didn't understand and thought I wanted a chicken fajita. The wait was extremely long. Once we got home the cheese sauce for the fries was horrible! Coagulated, off color chunks. If it were possible to give a zero rating I certainly would! We waited over 25 minutes for our food at which point my husband finally gave up. As he put down his order plaque and expressed his disgust, the manager (we assume) finally acknowledged that there was a problem. He then tried to give my husband the food belonging to the gentle man who ordered before us. The drive through line had been at a complete standstill for the same amount of time. One has to wonder what they are really selling because it certainly isnt food! One also has to wonder what the manager actually does there since we only saw him playing on his cell phone as his workers wandered aimlessly about. Last time I was here went through the drive thru. There was one car ahead of me and it took 20 minutes just to get the window. There was a car in front behind me so I couldn't leave. If you like a place that is not a typical fast food place. B52 is it! There is a flight tower that holds the name of the restaurant, and the interior is a museum of model airplanes and walls that are dedicated to the history of flight. Now for the food. If you have never been here before, the menu in back of the counter can be intimidating. There are flyers (see that! ha!) that list the choices so it may help to look at that before stepping to the counter. Their specialties are gyros but they offer a great variety. They bring the food out to you so all you have to do is get your drink and utensils. Well worth a trip just to see the décor, but the food is pretty good too! read more

This was my first time here and most definitely my last. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 just because the woman who waited on me was super sweet. The food was horrible. I ordered a burger and a kids meal burger to go. The burger meat tasted and smelled so bad and it had this grayish color to it. I only had 3 bites and then threw it away. My 8 year old son, who has never not like a burger in his life, asked me if it tasted funny. I said yes, for sure. Ugh, it was gross. The French fries were okay - the oil needs to be changed though. B52's is right around the corner from our house, so we eat there a lot. It's a lot like a fast food place, in that you order at the counter. They even have a drive through window. However, the menu is like a Greek diner - a little of everything. There burgers are really good - big, fresh, really tasty. I prefer the Southwest Bomber with jalapenos and cheese. The gyros are also huge and very good. When we go with the kids, it usually costs about the same as McDonalds, but the food is way better, cooked fresh, and much much bigger portions. To be fair, B52 is known for its burgers, but they also offer breakfast which is when we ate there. Prices are really reasonable...2 eggs, hash browns and toast for $2.30. Portions are large. But our experience was very disappointing. I had the pancake combo which included 3 pancakes, three sausage llinks and hash browns for under $4.00. You order at the counter and are given a number and your food is delivered to the table. Food is served on plastic plates and you pick up your plastic utensils, napkins and ketchup where you fill your own beverages. When my pancakes arrived, the aroma was one of a cake baking and the pancakes were on the sweet side. The sausages were skinny links and the hash browns were very crispy. I love crispy hash browns but these lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the links didn't have much flavor either. The atmosphere was cute and if you have a child who is into planes this would be a fun location choice. The ceiling is painted with planes and there are model planes all around the edge of the ceiling including a really cool one made out of beer cans. The chair backs have a plane cut out of the back so they really know how to follow through on a theme (which explains my 2nd star). They also serve lunch and dinner and the menu is huge which always makes me question how one place with so few tables can excel at everything. A heavy reliance on frozen ingredients rather than fresh probably explains the lack of flavor we experienced. Trying to be too many things to too many people. Upon entering there was a heavy disinfectant smell. Staff was neither rude nor cordial. I might go back to try their burgers but I wouldn't go for breakfast again. read more

Ate here for the first time today and will not be going back. The customer service was horrible. Waited ten minutes to order while the manager leaned across the front counter conversating with another costumer. After placing and paying for my order, with that same manager, he just walked away from the register. After waiting for fifteen minutes a number was called. Since I wasn't given a number, I walked over to the counter and asked the employee what the order was. He read it back. I showed him my receipt, told him that was my order, and that I wasn't given a number. Another customer had the number so she was given my food. She took it back to the table, found out it wasn't hers, and brought it back. The manager came over to find out what was going on. When I explained the situation, he questioned where my number was. I again told him that he didn't give me a number. He took the bag from the other customer and tried to hand it to me. I refused and told him I wanted my food remade since another customer went through it. He walked away and slammed the food on the counter. Five minutes later he brought me my food. No apology, no thank you, no have a nice day. When I got home I discovered the cheese sauce and ranch dressing I ordered was not in the bag and the fries were very soggy and greasy. The absolute worst "Italian beef" sandwich I have ever eaten. Having grown up in Chicago I know what the sandwich is suppose to taste like, look like and smell like. And this was NOT it.
