I heard about this place from my Son and Daughter-in-law. They love it. I was able to stop by today and tried a Gyro. First let me say that I love a good Gyro. I have eaten many from a variety of places. This is by far the best I have ever had. It was juicy and had a great flavor. The tzatziki sauce was mild, but honestly I found this great, as it did not mask the flavor of the meat. The Pita was perfect. I could not believe how good it was. I only wish it were a bit closer to my home. Now I need to think of excuses to go to Poway. The gentleman that helped me was very pleasant and helpful. I sat outside and relaxed and enjoyed the music for a bit. I cant wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. Please make the time and check them out. Definitely one my favorite Mediterranean restaurant. We have tried most of their dishes and they are all delicious. My husband, brother, his husband and I go there frequently. We always start with their Chives Bolani. It is out of this world. Last week the owner brought us their Potatoes Bolani to try and it was just as tasty. This is my family's favorite place for kabob and other similar cuisine unique dishes that you don't see elsewhere. Food quality is great, their chicken kabob tastes awesome, their garlic bread is addicting. Two people can split some of their larger meals for lunch which makes it more economical. They also have a bigger selection of bottled beverages to choose from than most any other food place like this. The owners and staff are the nicest people you can come across, their smiles are contagious and they go out of their way to make people happy. We recently moved from AZ to San Diego, CA, and were looking for Mediterranean kabob places. I am glad I found Baba Kabob after some searching. Their kabobs are perfectly cooked. Chicken kabob, beef Kabobs were the best. They do also serve tasty fries. We have already eaten multiple times, however through Uber eats. I would definitely want to visit the place and dine-in.
