Lunch special - 1/2 salad and 1/2 Pizza OR Pasta

Still one of my favorite local Italian restaurants in Chesterfield! Reasonably priced (given all dine-out meals have increased in costs), tasty dishes and menu variety, excellent quality and generous portion sizes. Always get smiling and friendly service, plus the ambience is relaxed, casual and open (acoustics slightly loud). All in all, a solid 4.0+ experience; expect to pay $17-25 for an entree (many are shareable if lighter appetites), plus any apps, salads and drinks. No reservations, first come seating and limited bar to wine and beer. Good for families or date nite out. Importantly, you won't go wrong with anything on their menu! My "go-to's" are the house-made Lasagna (enough for 2), Neapolitan Pizzas, and Caesar salad. Check their daily Specials, and of course Risotto, Tutto Mare, Bolognese, Eggplant Parmigiana (starter) are also delicious! And if you come for lunch, they have a great 1/2 & 1/2 special - so get your choice of Salad and a Pasta dish, Salad and Pizza, etc. For me, Babbo's has been one of the most consistent and excellent dining spots in the Valley with a relaxed vibe. Enjoy!!!

Not sure about the name but this place is amazing. Excellent service. Incredible food, fast fresh and delicious. Fresh bread with olive oil. The best bruschetta I've ever had anywhere, stacked with fresh tomatoes bruschetta stuff, really delicious. My risotto steaming hot fresh and excellent flavor. Dinner meeting with friend/customer and the perfect place to have a great meal and all conversation between long time relationships. Love this place

We were visiting and looking for something nearby. Babbo's had good reviews and we decided to try it. It was not very busy and we got right in. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were all pleased with our meals. It tasted fresh and full of flavor.

Great authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food & quality ingredients. The server was friendly & informative with a joyful demeanor that made dining fun. The vibe was kind of Frank Sinatra cool and every time we visit there are business people having lunch meetings and ladies having luncheons. The portions are large & even the lunch 1/2 lasagna & 1/2 salad are enough for 2 meals.

Great food. I got the veil Milanese which was one of the specials when I went it was very tender, the veggies were well prepared and the flavors worked well together. It was a nice open layout with big windows and created an enjoyable atmosphere. Our server was very kind and attentive. The people in general there are fantastic. We had a gift card that was super old and the manager still let us use most of it anyway. They used to have a Columbia location and my family and I were regulars there. I don't know if it's the fact that prices are going up in general or just the switch from Columbia to St Louis but the prices were a little more than I remember, nothing out of reason though.

I got the Neopolitan funghi pizza after asking the waiter what he recommended between the mushroom pasta or pizza. It came out and I was like, wuuut. I guess it was a St. Louis style pizza but the menu did not say that it was. It was just mushrooms, whole cloves of garlic, and cheese on some cracker thin crust. Would not get again. Would def get the pasta next time if I ever came back. Glad I only got a half order of the pizza. It was $13 before tax and tip.

Despite all of this activity next door, the restaurant is unaffected, both in access, parking, and view. Despite being near the highway, the view from a booth is not bad, with some rolling hills in the distance. The service was timely and attentive. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. The interior has a dark steakhouse feel with a lot of wood materials and the edges of whiskey barrels on the wall as decoration. A great environment to unwind, have a drink, and fully enjoy the meal. The food itself was exactly as ordered; a medium-rare ribeye with creamy risotto and broccolini. I don't frequent steakhouses very often, so I may or may not be back for that reason alone. It did make for a pleasant and memorable birthday dinner!

Our server was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our group. The only hiccup during the visit was timing--we arrived shortly after a busload of guests, which slowed down the kitchen a bit and led to a longer wait for our food. That said, the service remained strong throughout. For lunch, I ordered the combo with a Green Apple Cashew salad and the 1/2 World Traveler Reuben, made with house-smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thai Thousand Island, and black Russian pumpernickel. Both the salad and sandwich really hit the spot--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. This was my eighth visit over the past three years, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. Even with the slight delay this time, the consistency in food quality and service keeps me coming back.

We tried the Hefe Weissbier (my favorite, which paired perfectly with both appetizers), the Meteor Pils, and the Gaffel Kolsch. I'd recommend all of them if you're a beer drinker! The spinach dumplings are a must. They are bursting with spinach flavor and swimming in a rich brown butter sauce. We also tried the alpine dip, which comes with an enormous soft pretzel. It was okay, but the dip wasn't exactly what we were expecting. I'd probably pass on the alpine dip next time. Overall an amazing experience and I look forward to enjoying a full meal there next visit. Our server was awesome, the meals were great, I'll start with the server, he brought us a couple of drinks and left us to look over the menu. I filled my glass with a bottle of beer and noticed the glass was chipped along the rim. The place was hopping so I didn't get to catch him until he took our food order. I showed him the glass and he apologized and said he'd be back after putting in the order. In just a couple minutes he returned with a new glass, new bottle of beer and another apology. I've had similar issues at other facilities but he handled it better, and more professionally than any of them. I did think the manager could have stopped by, not looking for a free drink just to say we're sorry... my date and I both had their version of the choose two section. She had loaded baked potato and said it was great, and she got the chicken breast sandwich which she said was very good. To drink she had a margarita, no salt, and said it was good. I had the wedge salad and it was so large I couldn't even try my sandwich. I did eat it at home and the salmon blt was very good. I recommend this place and while we lucked out hitting a busy place on a Friday night without reservations, my date beat me there and got seated when a table opened up. The host took me to the table the moment I said I was meeting a lady there. Parking can be tuff, my date parked several rows away from the entry and if it had been raining that would have been a pain. I believe the location is the old Wild Horse Creek Pub on Long road. The restaurant is a bit loud, but we didn't mind it, it was a busy Saturday night. Bar service was great, table service was lacking. We started with a few drinks (margaritas) and they were quite good. For an app, we got the wings with firefly sauce, the sauce was really good and the wings were cooked perfect. For dinner, we had the filet mignon with potatoes and green beans as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The filet was overcooked, but had really good flavor, the green beans with bacon were lackluster. The Cajun pasta was quite tasty, but it really lacked protein (only a few slices of a sausage and a few shrimp). We had the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, the experience was okay, food was good enough. Worth a try if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
