I've been here three times. The good- Excellent Service, Very Tasty Drinks, Good Vibes, Creative menu, woman owned business. I once had London Fog Tea w/ Oat Milk and Honey and oh my gosh it was great! The bad- Prices are sketchy and some items too high. They have menu boards everywhere with pricing in various places on each board. I got the Mexican Latte (Super tasty). The board said $4.25 for 12oz (left side; see pic). I was charged $5 even though that appeared to be specifically for was the Nutella Latte. I remembered the last time I was here a woman had complained she was charged more than why the sign said too . Also, the cookie in the picture... $3.75!!! Note, it was tasty. I hate that I had this experience. I like this place. First time in, ordered the Vienna coffee and Vietnamese coffee. DELICIOUS. It was a little over $10 for both coffees, which seemed reasonable to me given the quality. Who goes to Starbucks when there are places like Babylon that serve BETTER coffee at the same relative cost? Wish we could have tried the Turkish coffee, but they were out... or the machine was broken... or something. The customer service left something to be desired. At Babylon Coffee Roasters, we stopped for a quick cup of coffee. Although this coffee shop provided excellent customer service, the coffee I bought is what gives it the 3-star rating. There are many plugs available for charging electronics like a laptop, and the coffee shop itself is nice. I ordered the butterscotch latte, which was okay but lacking in flavor. I tried Turkish coffee and I loved the experience how it came having to pour it into the tiny cup n drink it I mean they give you an authentic feel and that's what gets places on my top list. Soooo, I have had Babylon bookmarked for quite some time now. I am so happy that Hubbs and I decided to finally try them a lil bit ago. First off, they have a ton of my fave tea brand, Harney and Sons. They have a crap ton of different flavors on their menu. The customer service is great. The baristas are so sweet, and attentive. I always remind them about my COWS milk allergy and they never forget me or my allergy.. Somtimes they're suggesting my milk alternative before I even mention it. They are careful in preparing your items. In the past they have been very mindful of preparing my butterscotch latte with oat milk and my maple pecan latte with oat. They will even clarified certain options for both Hubbs and my drink. In addition to that, they are so professional, and take care of everyone, including the food delivery orders, promptly and with a smile. As for the coffee, it smells strong, but I believe most are a medium roast, and brewed with their own fresh coffee beans. I LOVE IT! The coffee is smooth, creamy, rich and delicious . Yummy yummy in my tum. They also offer homemade treat which always look pretty yummy. I haven't had a treat yet, but I will update my next review to let you guys know how they are when I do. I love the homey atmosphere of Babylon coffee roasters. I have missed Turkish cafes so glad I found one. I ordered the cinnamon dolce and blueberry muffin. The lady who I believe was the owner was lovely. The cinnamon dolce was the right amount of sweet as was the blueberry muffin which was flavorful and moist. There are plenty of places to sit inside and they have outdoor seating available which I took advantage of. I'll have to stop by again and try other items on the menu. What a cozy little shop! With this being my first visit, the barista kindly highlighted some items she recommended and explained what each of them was. Despite it being 7 in the morning, it was a bit warm, so I opted to try a smoothie - she recommended the pina colada. It was very tasty, and used real coconut - I could tell, because there were chunks of it throughout, which isn't my preference, but again, the flavor was wonderful! I wouldn't order it again because of that texture, but am excited to try plenty more drinks. I also got a piece of baklava, which was warmed before serving. I found my new favorite coffee shop! I had seen Babylon many times while driving by, but had not had the time to stop in until last week. I had just gotten rather soggy while touring the local college campus in the pouring rain, so I decided to pop in to Babylon to warm up and get some (hopefully) delicious coffee. I was greeted right away by Heeba (sp), the owner, and chatted for a couple minutes while I decided what to order. Although I was intrigued by the Turkish coffee option, I was immediately sold on the Nutella latte as soon as I saw it on the menu board! Nutella is one of my favorite things, so combining it with coffee just seemed like such a genious idea, I couldn't resist trying it. I got it made with oat milk since my tummy is not a fan of dairy products. I was in love after my first divine sip. Creamy, chocolatey, not too sweet, and a smooth coffee flavor perked me right up and had me melting into my seat. I stayed and sipped on my latte while reading, and just had a wonderful relaxing time. The atmosphere in the shop is so cozy, I just love it! Tastefully decorated and designed, I feel like Babylon's look is what a lot of other coffee shops are aiming at, but they never quite get there. I liked it so much, in fact, that I brought my husband there on Friday to try it out! He hates both coffee and tea, so the barista on duty, Sophie, made him a coffee-less Smore's frap, and it is, legitimately, one of the most delicious things I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The balance of flavors was perfect, with the graham, chocolate, and marshmallow flavors all rolling together to create a symphony of sweetness, without any of the flavors overpowering the others, and somehow it wasn't overwhelmingly sugary! I got the honey rose latte this last time, and it also was just wonderful, with just a hint of rose to accompany the sweet honey flavor. I am also currently studying to speak Greek, so I was naturally curious and excited to try authentic Turkish coffee. (Cultural studies are important when learning to speak a language. TLDR: Good Turkish coffee, enough tables and spacing for studying or catching up with friends, homemade baked goods, great customer service. My sister and I needed a place to study today for an extended period, and this place was perfect. The tables were large enough for both she and I have to have all our materials out on one table. Everything was this beautiful brown wood inside, with a good smell and lighting. This was my first time trying Turkish coffee, and I'll admit, at first, I was taken aback by the cardamom, but the more I sipped on it, the more I liked it's rich bold taste and aroma. Honey lavender with oat milk was amazing! I had my doubts when I came in purely based on their logo and location but I'm glad I gave them a try. Passed this little place today on the way to an appointment. On the way back, we decided to stop by and try it out. We were beyond pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely fabulous. The staff was very kind. I got a lavender oat milk latte, my husband a peppermint white chocolate mocha and my kid got an oat milk hot chocolate. All the drinks exceeded expectations. The actual espresso taste was great, not burnt or sour. The flavoring was there, but not overpowering the espresso. We also got some kind of s'more pastry and I took it home and tried it later in the day... it blew my mind. It was delicious and not what I expected when I looked at it.
