The girl went, saw the flower entrance, said meh, then saw the sterile vibe inside and didn't expect much. I am that girl and omg was I glad I ignored my friend. I stopped by this hidden gem with a grand entrance for lunch. We couldn't decide on what to get and no one around us was really eating lunch foods so we decided to sample the apps. SO FRIKIN GOOD! Burratta: the caramelized onion puree is to die for, it gives the burratta an amazing forgot that I've never experienced, can't wait to have it again. Ribs: get them! Had a nice lunch here today. There was a 30 minute wait for a table outside but it went by quickly. Michelle, our server, was fantastic! She made good recommendations, was attentive but not bearing, and she was friendly. Two of us had a latte, a matcha latte, an iced matcha lemonade, the arepas frittas, a hamburger and a truffled jambon de Paris. The Pan de Jamón is what we expected from Bachour after the unexpected failure of Majestic and La Margarita, both which have excellent Pans de Jamón but not quite as excellent as Bachour. Bachour is the place to go for magnificent desserts. Your palate as well as all your senses will be fascinated. Not only are the desserts beautiful they are delicious too. The food is pretty good too, but the stars of Bachour are the sweets!! The atmosphere is casual, open space and very airy. My one complaint is the noise level is pretty annoying; They need better acoustics like maybe some panels disguised as art work on the walls and other noise absorbing features. We visited Bachour for my father's birthday brunch and had a lovely meal. I had a passionfruit mimosa which was mostly sparkling wine with a splash of juice(much appreciated). We had the hummus to start which was one of the tastiest I've had in quite some time. I had the Wedge Salad and overlooked that it is made with bib lettuce so that was disappointing. I love Wedge Salads for the crunchiness of the iceberg. Nonetheless, it was yummy. My husband devoured the Turkey Club and I devoured most of his French fries which were perfect(McDonald's style, iykyk). For dessert, we shared the challah French toast which was amazing. We then wandered over to the pastry case to select a pastry or two. I chose the Dulce de leche Easter Egg which was filled with mouse, guava, and chocolate. Beautiful. It's free to be nice. Unfortunately- Bachour's staff did not get this memo. My experience today was sub par. I came with 4 girlfriends and 3 of us brought our babies. Upon entering, no one greeted us or even smiled. Our server was not the friendliest nor very attentive. I felt the same way about the rest of the staff. I asked one woman for hot sauce and she brought over black pepper, which was disappointing. In addition, our lattes arrived 20 mins after we ordered. I ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was fine. Nothing super memorable, but tasty.. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. Overall I am very put off by the lack of quality service, given the location and price of Bachour. It is literally FREE to be kind and we did not feel that from their staff today. Maybe bringing babies to a lunch spot isn't the sexiest, but I have been here on the weekends and know that families are welcome- so it didn't seem like that was the issue. I intended to speak to the manager upon leaving, but my parking was up and I didn't have time (good thing because I almost got a rickety!) Also, I know that this wasn't just my experience as my friends felt the same way. None of us will rush to be back and I hope that the manager sees this and they can educate the staff in quality service. The architecture is modern, sleek, and you can tell that the interior designer poured their heart and soul into the place. And there's the food. Every morsel even more beautiful than the last. It's a conveyor belt of pretty. Please don't waste the pretty! Think of this place like you would of a first date. You want to make a great first impression. Or at the very least they do. The desserts themselves are Instagram worthy without filters. Blasphemy, I know, but once you see and then taste them, you will surely understand. Went for a brunch on a weekend. They don't do reservations then, so go early. Go early as well as some desserts run out quickly. Among our group, we had a collection of croissants (key lime and red velvet), as well as a decadent pain au chocolat. Score! I happened to get us one of the last two. As we went for brunch, we also got drinks, including cappuccinos in these beautiful blue ceramic mugs that were made in a soda kiln (but that's off topic). Cappuccino was on point, as was our food. We had an array of burgers and avocado toast. I dared to be different and had the Spanish scramble. That scramble had the best eggs ever. So perfectly cooked! And should I say moist? You have to try it and make up your own mind! Have to say though that I preferred the avocado toast and will order that next time. Going back to the desserts, the main stars, just absolutely amazing. Antonio Bachour's flagship bakery/store in Coral Gables is a gift to Miami and has quickly become one of my favorite places to have brunch. After my first couple of visits to Bachour, I must say that I either liked or loved everything I've tried here so far. Brunch is so delish and flavorful and the pastries are perfect and too pretty to eat. The Bachour Egg Sandwich is one of my favorite brunch items. A generous serving size, this sandwich comes stuffed with egg, cheese, and a sizable slice of pork belly inside of a super soft, cloud like bread bun. The croissants are outstanding and there are a variety of them to try here. Red Velvet Croissant was excellent and came with whipped cream cheese on the inside. My favorite croissant so far was the Key Lime Pie. It just had this amazing and irresistible tart flavor on the inside and in my opinion, this is how Key Lime should taste. I want to try other croissants, but some of them tend to run out quickly. Such high quality is found in all the food and pastries here and my goal is to eventually try everything. You simply can't go wrong here. Service is on point with the multiple water refills at all times. You won't go thirsty here. One of the servers in particular on one of our visits, Simona S, was outstanding. No reservations are taken on the weekend as it's first come, first serve. Some fun facts.. We were in the area, and I knew I just HAD to stop in and take some things back home with me. These are absolutely visually stunning, and the flavors are just as on point as the artistry. We shared (over the course of a couple days-haha): -Coconut Cheesecake- decadent, delicate 10/10 -Chocolate Hazlenut: HEAVEN. How do they make chocolate taste this good? Sorcery! 10/10 -Mango Key Lime Tart: refreshing and Florida in a tart! -THE PEAR: this little thing looked like an actual pear. The labor that went into this is unimaginable. The flavor? What a beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining options. With todays weather, we dined outside and were happy that we did. The service from start to finish was excellent (this is huge for me)! Alejandro, was great, welcoming and made recommendations and assured me that I would be back since it was my first time. My guests agreed with him. Post dining, he's 100% correct. If you're starting the new year off to a diet, this place is not going to work for your goals, but it's worth every calorie. Bachour deceived my eyes. I came here totally excited, but left utterly disappointed! After seeing and reading the reviews of Bachour's pastries and guava cream cheese pancakes, I was compelled to give them a try! I called in an order for a croissant but was told they sold out. I asked for any flavor danish but was told they had none left... For a place opened till late afternoon, you'd think they'd have an abundance of pastries popping out of the oven around the clock, but I guess not. I should've taken this as my warning sign to order elsewhere, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt -- my mistake. I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at the designated time and was perplexed by how insanely crowded the indoor and outdoor sections of Bachour were. Covid precautions, what's that? Apparently, Bachour has no idea because social distancing is nonexistent here! More so, there's no sign indicating where patrons go to pick up their to-go orders. Confused, I approached the hostess who told me my order was not ready. I decided to waste time by taking a look at their chocolate display case. I asked an employee behind the case about the flavor of a particular chocolate. He disregarded my curiosity and scolded me for not being on line. I told him I just wanted to know what flavor it was and that there was no sign indicating where the line formed. Annoyed at my confusion, he pointed at some people crowded around a display case and told me to wait behind them. Again, no 6-feet apart here! Everyone on this "line" was so eager to see what was in those display cases that they seemed to forget about social distancing rules! It was totally unsafe. Apparently, consumers are not the only ones who forget Covid exists because their pastry employees do not wear gloves! Not one of them washed their hands after each pastry / money transaction either...Even worse, an employee coughed on her hands while handling some of the pastries and chocolates... To make matters worse, my heart set on their mesmerizing fluffy guava pancakes shattered when I opened my to-go package and discovered six plain, rubbery mini pancakes instead of two large guava-filled ones. Not a single piece of guava nor cream cheese was present within any of those $13 rubbery pancakes. I was utterly disappointed! I would've been happier with some pancakes from IHop than those from here! While the physical venue and pictures of their food are captivating, the food, service, and sanitary precautions of Bachour were utterly disappointing! read more

But don't let this very chic little bakery fool you , it also has amazing foooood and brunch options not just pastries, that's just the plus side to it. I had the pistachio paris-brest with a cappuccino to go with it and wow , i had to order one to go as well because it was that great! Breathtakingly beautiful. Walking in the beautifully decorated archway was like stepping into Alice in Wonderland. These are THE BEST croissants I have ever had. Splurged and got the assortment of 5. They are large in size and flavor but still light airy and delightful. Nothing was overly sweet which I appreciated. The pistachio was heavenly as was the red velvet. I gazed into the pastry glass wondering if I could try all of the offerings! I Will most certainly be back and be taking any guests in town to check it out!
