Likely most famous for Viennoiserie, Bachour's brightly colored layers of lamination frequently featured on Social Media, it was while sipping Beverages that four sweets and one savory were presented, the Ham and Cheese Croissant surprisingly maintaining its internal honeycomb despite the additions while Pecan drizzled with Frosting tasted buttery like a Morning Bun but with a flaky texture. Passing on BonBons and Petits Gateaux, though all would warrant a look on return visits, it was wrapped around light Cream that Pistachio and Red Velvet each made a positive impression, though neither of these nor the souffled Guava and Cheese Pancakes could trump the Strawberry Mascarpone Cheesecake Croissant that was nothing short of splendid. read more

Went here for brunch while in Miami. What a beautiful space!! Very light and inviting, there is both indoor and outdoor area. We opted to sit inside as it was a bit chilly. The pastry cases are to die for, i's impossible not to stare. The brunch menu was pretty good, although I would comment that there are zero "healthy" options. Not that I was unhappy about it. This place is all about indulgences. Yes it's pricey, but it's Miami. Plus the food was very high quality. I split an avocado toast and a Croque monsieur with my husband. Both were amazing. The portions were pretty large actually to my surprise. My kids split a breakfast sandwich, which was also very delicious. We've also tried several pastries while there. The strawberry mascarpone croissant is amazing. And on a separate occasion got more pastries as well as the patisserie cakes to go. All were amazing for flavors, quality and creativity. Deducting one star for service, which was very sub par. Our server was very slow and not overly friendly. But don't let this very chic little bakery fool you , it also has amazing foooood and brunch options not just pastries, that's just the plus side to it. It impossible not to get one because not only do they look beautiful but they are delicious. I had the pistachio paris-brest with a cappuccino to go with it and wow , i had to order one to go as well because it was that great! It wasn't too sweet or too bland, it was the perfect mix and flavor. They have outdoor seating which is excellent especially during covid, and its covered under roof with a nice breeze coming in so its not too hot, i could have stayed there alllll afternoon. Breathtakingly beautiful. Walking in the beautifully decorated archway was like stepping into Alice in Wonderland. These are THE BEST croissants I have ever had. Splurged and got the assortment of 5. They are large in size and flavor but still light airy and delightful. Nothing was overly sweet which I appreciated. The pistachio was heavenly as was the red velvet. I gazed into the pastry glass wondering if I could try all of the offerings! I Will most certainly be back and be taking any guests in town to check it out! In general the food is not good. The servers seems to be friendly but they are not knowledgeable about the menu.look. The restaurant has many tables outside but you can not sit in certain areas because they only have two servers at dinner (one of the servers said that. It is January 3, 3023 and I wanted to sit outside next to the Christmas tree). I asked for a Greek salad and it was the worst. The chef do not had a clue what a Greek salad is all about. It has olive power and it made the taste overwhelming. It called for baby lettuce on the menu and that was not true. My opinion is that the chef has to be more educated about international flavors. Moreover, the restaurant does not offer happy hour and therefore is not an attractive place to go while they are plenty of places that offers happy hour. I will not go back again. read more

I went here with a group of 4 and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated (on a sunday morning at 11am), but it was so worth it! I had the solmon egg bennedict for brunch (which was delicuous) and my husband had the chilaquiles (he added an egg on top of it too) and were also great! Very beautiful restaurant with fancy artisanal pastries. There is a beautiful outdoor space with a courtyard. We went here for Sunday brunch since they have a great menu. I had the avocado tartine which was good and a matcha lemonade. My hubby and my son were sharing the egg sandwich, the Spanish eggs (scrambled eggs with Serrano ham) and the breakfast potatoes (a mix of yellow, sweet and purple potatoes) and some OJ. The desserts look amazing but we were too full to try some. I totally have my eyes on that pistachio croissant for next time. The service was very nice but they get very busy for brunch that they overlooked bringing as utensils and napkins. But the overall experience was great. Ohhhh myyy goodness. Bachour is an absolute French DREAM! I highly recommend everyone come dressed cute as the entrance alone is gorgeous. Perfect photo op! The food is also an incredible art, you'd wanna take photos not just OF, but also WITH it. Their glass kitchen allows you to see all the magic going on inside. Chef Antonio is no joke, his pastries are pure decadence. I only wish I came here earlier so I could've tried more croissants but they sell out fast in the morning! Everything is so unique. My friend and I shared the ham and cheese quiche, soooo much cheesey, flakey buttery goodness. The flan croissant was impressive! It's so whippy and goes down so smooth, and it's sweetened so lightly that I can actually finish half of it entirely. The mandarin orange small cake was the perfect ending! Breaking into the outside chocolate shell was satisfying, I felt like I was on a gourmet food network show lol there are three layers to this adorable cake... the first being very citrusy, followed by sweet mousse cream. Absolutely incredible brunch spot! You will see people waiting outside, but don't let that deter you! The place is huge and the wait at 11 a.m. on a Sunday was only about 25 minutes, and it's WORTH. IT. I ordered an oat milk latte, which was pretty tasty but very simple. For our meals, I went with the breakfast sandwich (brioche, scrambled eggs, cheddar, bacon, arugula) and my mans went with the eggs benedict (on brioche with Canadian bacon and side salad + home fries). To share, we had the guava & cheese pancakes. All were, as Lady Gaga would say, talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never-the-same, totally unique, completely never-been-done-before. I took a dulce de leche croissant to go. Did I purchase it while waiting for our table, yes. Was I about to bite into it as we received the "your table is ready" text? Also yes. Am I stoked that I now have more Bachour goodness to munch on later this evening? Again, yes. The service is phenom. From the table service for sit down meals to the bakery counter, I felt so taken care of. Parking is available on the street. Bachour has four locations in Miami-Dade County. Two are strictly bakeries and two are both bakery and restaurant. We came to their Coral Gables location for breakfast. I should point out that this location only takes walk-ins during the day. Not sure what they do for parties of 8 or more. The Coral Gables location has ample seating. The entrance has flowers all around it and when you walk in, you are mesmerized by how delicious and beautiful the pastries look. The menu has a mix of everything: from huecos rancheros to challah bread French toasts (topped with a mix of berries) and guava and cheese pancakes which apparently they had been out before we went. The service was friendly and prompt and the food? Really really good. The eggs on my huecos rancheros were a little dry but the pico de gallo was more than made for it! We also tried the arepa fritters: basically cheese filled balls that were fried. An arepa is a type of food made of maize (cornmeal). We tried their mandarin pastry. It was beautiful to look at and very light to taste. They have many different pastries, including macarons and we will have to come back to try them all! read more

We were familiar with chef Bachour so when we so his restaurant we jumped at the chance to visit. We actually visited on the day after Christmas for so it had an impact on the staff. Don't get me wrong the food was perfect. Tasty and masterfully presented but generally lacked the usual expected jump to it feeling although what am I complaining about. At the first glance of it on the menu I thought it had too many ingredients and didn't think they would all blend well. However, it was a blast of super delicious taste every bite! We had two pastries after the salads and took some home for the next day. The chocolate hazelnut had a little too much Nutella inside for me, but it was great besides that. I had high hopes that I would raise my previous review from three to more stars today, but sadly I've dropped it to 1 star because of fail number two. The hours posted for the bakery are 7 AM. After our last fail where we misunderstood that they don't serve breakfast until 8, were exited to return for weekday morning croissants. Day ahead we checked their website and yelp to see their "recently updated hours," and confirmed the time... this was to be my wife's chosen birthday outing in these days of Covid.. to go pick up some fresh croissants. I called the evening before to check the hours and the employee confirmed bakery hours open at 7, and I mentioned we'd be there the next morning. So we made our second drive to the Gables to try this place. As I mentioned, it's my wife's birthday, and because she's a teacher she has to start her online work before 8. We had just enough time to go in at 7, pickup to go, and get back home with time to enjoy our croissants before then. We were happy to see the newly posted banners out front proclaiming their 7am opening hour! We got parking down the street and went to call in our order just before 7. The person answering the call informed us that we could come get bakery items after 7:30. "Croissants at 7:30." Surprised, I thanked him and hung up. We waited until just after 7:30 and went to go in and choose our croissants. I suppose it's not surprising that they were still not open, but they were not. We tried to see if we could make eye contact with someone inside, but the windows were all fogged over, and were locked. We waited a few more minutes, but with no sign of life, we had to cut our losses and head back home. So, if you go here,,definitely don't trust the posted hours. Our previous attempt: We looked forward to breakfast here on a Sunday, and heard they got very busy, so we anticipated this and arrived when they open at 7 AM. We arrived in the Gables after driving across town, and were thrilled when they unlocked the doors right as we parked at 6:55 AM. The decor is very nice... clean, open... a really cool glass-enclosed kitchen. And, the aroma of their bakery is wonderful. The dining area is open and contemporary, all glass and concrete... very nice. We were invited to sit at the croissant bar. Then we unfortunately discovered something that honestly doesn't make sense to me: they post opening hours at 7 AM on their web site, yet don't serve breakfast until 8. They should mention that somewhere. Since we didn't sit and wait an hour for breakfast, I can't comment on the food. Perhaps another day. In the mean time, someone at the restaurant should post their meal times with their hours! A couple days after I posted this, the owner reached out to me and explained that the bakery opens for coffee and baked goods at 7AM, the restaurant opens at 8. I mentioned the disconnect with the posted times and he said he'd post a note about the different times, and invited us back to enjoy breakfast in the future after 8 we really look forward to that! Final status: after these two failed attempts, we're done. We won't try a third time to patronize Bachour. read more

Went here with my family while visiting the area. Outdoor seating was perfect for the morning and the kids enjoyed watching the birds. The coffee was perfect and the food was delicious. We tried lots of different things. The kids loved the ham and cheese croissant and enjoyed the pancakes (but got everything on the side). The egg sandwich was good, but I wish I would have chosen a quiche because I think that was more their specialty. The host was very friendly, but the server seemed to want to be anywhere but working. Seemed annoyed that we were in his section and I felt like we were bothering him which is why I only gave 4 stars. I would go back, but maybe try take out or hope for a different server. read more

One of the best breakfast meals I've had in a long time, and it happens to be right in my neighborhood. So happy and excited Bachour is down the street. From the delicious croissants, pastries, drink and humongous breakfast, I see myself being a regular here. Oh, and did I mention they have a FULL BAR? I mean, this was the cherry on top. Went there this morning at 7.25am to have a simple breakfast knowing that before 8 they only serve coffee , croissants, pastries. The restaurant looked closed, but it was not. A young lady came to the table to tell us that they were only serving coffee. I asked her if we could get a croissant , she told us that we couldn't. Only coffee. We had to leave to get breakfast at La Crema at Miracle Mile that openes at 7 and serves complete breakfasts. Use to go to Bachour couple of day a week, but it has changed a lot. Went for brunch. The food was mediocre at best. We got the burger, guava pancakes and the tequeños with the mini arepas. The food was bland, and the mimosa was just okay, nothing out of this world. We were a big group so we got a good table that sat all of us comfortably and there's definitely a lot of table space. The service was good and our waitress was friendly. It looks pretty in pictures but not worth it in my opinion. We didn't finish all the food and left a majority of it. I wouldn't come back but I would say if someone wants to go id encourage them to go and hopefully have better luck than we did. read more

I been going to this place for years. The food is good but nothing out of this world. I find it a little pricey for breakfast but we still go. My family and I love their desserts which we think is something very special. Today I went for lunch and service is usually good. Today they took forever for two cups of black coffee. The young male waiter did not bother to come back to our table to see if we needed anything after our food was delivered, which we did. We had to ask another waiter to assist us. Died and went to Brunch heaven this weekend. Buratta with date purée and the cutest lil watermelon radishes was surprisingly my absolute favorite dish of the day. The French toast was too pretty to eat but that didn't stop me. The egg sandwich was also delicious and so big my camera couldn't focus. Love this place! Another cute little brunch or afternoon coffee/tea place. This place has all the yummy desserts and I love the outside area by the fountain, the vibes are very peaceful and relaxing.
