Food was delicious. service was mediocre. We had reservations for 6:30 pm. We had dinner, wine and dessert. I am sure the bill was between $250 and $300. I did not pay, someone who invited me paid. At about 7:50 our desert dishes and capuchins cups were cleared and we were told we had 5 minutes, that someone else was waiting for our table. I found this very rude of them. They actually came over 5 minutes after telling us that and brought a new table clothe and put it over a chair. They were clearing off the table clothe as we were getting up. I was here years ago and hoped it was better then I remembered - it wasn't, and I think it was actually worse. We were greeted by an indifferent host and served by a detached waiter. These two were my first impression to Baciami and I guess I should have known the experience wasn't going to be very good - but I hoped for the best. Everything we ordered - from a Margarita Pie to Eggplant to a beef dish was not good. The sauce was dull and flavorless on the eggplant and the Pizza was doughy and tasteless. The food was terrible, got chicken parmigiana and it was not a cutlet but and overcooked chicken breast and the sauce tasted like it just came out of a can. My in-laws got short ribs that were extremely dry and were horrible. The people next to us were also complaining about the food, that's when I knew we made a mistake coming here. My wife and I visited yesterday afternoon 12/23/2023. It was our third visit and each time we left with thought were we pleased enough to try again. Yesterday's visit confirmed we will not. The service: Jake the bartender/server exhibited a bit of arrogance leaving a less than pleasant experience. After serving our appetizer and a long wait for our dinners he disappeared. We were done and sat with waiting for the plates to be cleared, finally the next bartender that came on duty asked if we were all set and I told him no. Jake appears and clears our plates. Does not offer dessert or an after-dinner drink. We pay and leave. The food: While my Veal Saltimbocca was good, and only average quality. The Eggplant appetizer was much and tasteless. My Wife's Sunday Gravy dinner was terrible. I wonder was it made on Sunda and of what week? The atmosphere: Truly spectacular and that what has drawn us back for the last time. The Pricing: On the high side, but we are fully prepared for paying extra for a fine dining experience. The Operations Fee: Totally unacceptable and a true insult to the t. Ate here on Monday Jan 17th at 7pm. Restaurant was about 25-30% full. Took forever to get drinks served (the wait staff were doing everything they could). Ordered one bottle of wine and it literally took them 15 min to come back and tell us they didn't have that anymore. The music was so loud you could barely hear the person across the table. Asked at least twice if they could turn it down a little, but no. Food was on the expensive side, but portions are massive. Literally the Caesar salad was piled so high on a dinner plate it was overflowing. One Caesar was enough for 3 people, maybe 4. Pizza was ok, the lasagna inedible. But what really got me was the 3.5% "Operations Fee" added to the check. Bartender told me it was for "inflation". Huge helpings if that's what you want. read more

I was recently there for the Valentines Day special with my girlfriend and another couple. I was very unimpressed with the service and the food quality. Service was slow and the waitress had to be asked multiple times to clear unused water glasses, empty drink glasses, and dirty plates. Portion sizes were small, which was probably a good thing, considering I became violently ill that evening and into the following day. When I called to speak to a manager regarding my experience I was offered nothing more than an apology. Needless to say after spending over $350, after tip, for food poisoning I will not be returning or recommending the restaurant to anyone. read more

Wonderful Dining Experience! Beautiful and chic interior. We wanted to take advantage of the sunset 3 course meal and needed to be seated by 6pm. Got there at 5:45 and told the server we wanted to grab a happy hour priced drink at the bar first. They were VERY accommodating. We paid for our drink and took it to our table. It was just approaching 6 and they didn't rush us at all. We each got a salad. Hubs got the ceasar I got the arugula drizzled with truffle oil. And we both got the short rib dinner with rigatoni. It includes a cannoli or gelato. We also got an appetizer of sausage and broccoli rabe. I forgot to take a picture but it was delicious and loaded with broccoli rabe which is the highlight for me! Service was great and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We'll definitely come back! Great food, lush environment and big bar with huge parking. Pizzas are Neapolitan square which is not my top choice and the crust gets a little soggy for brick oven although it's tasty. I ask them for crispy and it fixes it. Carpaccio is well presented and always tasty. The eggplant is light on cheese and perfectly al dente. They charge well for pasta but it comes out al dente and with a lot of love. Da vero. The cannoli is out of this world and the limoncello sorbetto is mind blowing. He then returns 10 minutes later some olives on a toothpick in his palm and dumped them and his fingers into my drink and says "there you go" Every single one of the Food orders came out wrong and were below average at best. 3 people in our party ordered a bottle of wine and the bottle didn't come until after everyone was done eating because "the manager had to open the case to get the bottle" It would have been okay if the server tried and felt bad but he was not very nice/respectful which made it difficult for our larger group to understand. Went back again. Better than the last time. I have not been to a Resturant where the wait staff has been any better. They went so completely above and beyond, we were apologizing to them. What we did differently this time from last time was had desert. OMG!!! The best homemade cannoli I have ever had........and all 4 of my grandparents were born in Sicily . We stopped in to have dinner and it was our lucky day when we got Leslie as our server. She was amazing! She was warm and friendly, and very knowledgeable. We decided to go with the sunset dinner. Leslie explained all of our options. We had the Italian Chicken Escarole soup and arugula salad. The bread was incredible with the olive oil. For dinner we had the Rigatoni bolognese and the Short rib. Everything was delicious! For dessert we had Tiramisu and Chocolate gelato. Perfection! The food was okay, nothing to jump up and down about. I was there on a Tuesday night in January. They only have a soup of the day, it was a chicken and escarole but came out more of a broth. Good taste but not enough substance. The Salmon was good but it took a long time to get it out to me. I was there about an hour longer than I would like to be. One thing that was terrible was what they call a Cannoli. It was more like chocolate whip cream in a wafer. I may have had worse cannoli but I don't remember when. Two dining experiences a week apart. Dining experience #1 - Dining for two: Booth seat dirty with old food crumbs, though sign said table was sanitized. Refused to honor advertised discounts on appetizer and on 1/2 off bottles of wine. The server was not attentive, very brusk and short. Ambiance looks like Italian, but music is some kind of techno club music, not Italian, and really loud. Food was ok. Dining experience #2 - Dining for four: Host could not find our reservation. Came up with three separate and different reasons as to why they didn't have our reservation. Argued with us for ten minutes when he could have simply sat us at one of the many tables which remained empty during our entire dining experience. Same inattentive server as last time proceeded to spill water on the floor and my husband as she attempted to fill all four water glasses. New server was very good. Ambiance looks like Italian, but music was still some kind of techno club music, not Italian, and still really loud. Baciami's policy to not separate the bill was a surprise at the end of the meal. Though, they agreed to split the check in half, once again the voucher our friend had was denied because we also had a voucher given to us as consolation for the last bad experience at Baciami. Could have sat at separate tables and used them both! Because we sat together, they denied the second voucher. Two checks. Two vouchers. Denied. Unfortunately, we will not be back, neither will our friends. The food was excellent this time, but not worth the hassle with management policies and poor customer service. I go there all the time. Anytime out of town family is visiting it's our go to, but tonight was horrible.... We just left your establishment and had the worst experience ever and we've been going there for years. 3 of us two meals came out wrong. Server never checked on us i have to grab his attention. Then I sent mine back because I didn't get what asked for and the steak at the table was medium when asked for medium rare. Server said I'll get a manager then no one came over Server came back grabbed the steak and brought it back to the kitchen cut it and brought it back out didn't cut it in front of us didn't offer to recook nothing. Manager was very rude said any rarer I'd be raw which isn't true at all. The steak temp was medium and even if it was medium rare could've cooked it rare. Didn't touch it since it wasn't cut in front of us and the plate was handled by multiple ppl. The original plate including our fork and knife was brought back. Then get the bill and it's still on there ok ask why if not a piece was eaten. Then manager comes over rudely saying so you don't want to pay for it we say ya multiple ppl touched the same plate not knowing who cut it and he's goes the chef did I explain we all work in the industry and my self in a high end place and thats not how things are handled. And I asked if not one bite was taken why should we pay for it and he yells while walking away back towards us you ordered pay for it. Drops the tab back and doesn't say a word not sorry no thank you nothing. Horrible experience. And as I said to him if the server had checked on us once after entrees were dropped and sent back he would've known something was wrong but he never did. Didn't even ask 2 out of 3 of us what we wanted for drinks nor refill waters or anything. Horrible service and manager was rude and nasty. read more

Not gonna judge harshly but hope they put out better in person. Recommended by neighbor and disappointed with quality. We wanted quality Italian so stopped in at about 5pm Saturday to place a to-go order. Stood around waiting while several servers/staff were at the bar goofing around. Pizza guy said he wasn't allowed to take order...grrr. Order placed. Meatballs and pesto chicken. Timely prep. Was provided bread too. Meatballs were pretty yummy. We disliked the pesto chicken-while it tasted fresh-very strong flavor, all dark meat and pasta not homemade. Entrees are pricey! For this, they'd better start making their own pasta. Cindy and I found comfortable and enjoyable experiences here. Every bartender there, Stormi, Matt and Sal are as friendly and professional as they come and they make killer cocktails! We have tried some of their appetizers (arancini, calamari, meatballs, salads and pizza) and found them to be quite tasty and delicious. Wonderful night at Baciami! All you can eat Stone Crab Claws. Already cracked and ready to devour with scrumptious mustard sauce. 3 salad choices were all delicious. This was a mind boggling experience. We (2 couples) heard this place had a very good happy hour. So, we arrive around 6:30, (happy hour till 7). Nobody at front to seat us, ok, no prob., we just take a high top near bar. Now, place is not crowded at all, perhaps a dozen people sitting at bar, and 3 or 4 tables with patrons. 10-15 min go by, still nobody to serve us. Now, I'm watching waiters and other staff walking about, so I can tell they are not under-staffed (just poorly executed). I flag down a waitress, she tells me such and such will be right with you, ...nobody comes. Now I get up and just decide to order our drinks at bar. Bartender says she will send a waiter our way. Waiter finally arrives, apologizes and we assume we are all good. We get our drinks, and also assume he will be right back to take our food order, ...nope! Now, I'm in the business, so it's fairly recognizable to me that something is most def. off kilt with the process here. Our mistake was that we should have seated at the bar, because I can easily tell that the bartenders were the only ones hustling around here. Ok, we retrieve the waiter once again, (def. aggravated at this point) get our food order in before their 7:00 happy hour expiring and then several minutes later, one of us decided to add a menu item at 7:07. Waiter proceeds to tell us , sorry happy hour prices are over. WHAT!! You mean because the service was so poorly delayed you are actually telling us that we will have to pay regular menu item price because it's now 7:07. Absolutely mind boggling. He or a manager should have recognized their error and granted us another food item at the happy hour pricing, Period! (No brainer). To top it all off, each thing we ordered comes to table one at a time. (Which means 1 person can eat at a time) Huh!? Calamari comes out with no marinara as well. I mentioned our displeasure to 2 couples sitting next to us and they told us they are regulars there, and agreed that the service is terrible, yet they come back because they like the food and happy hour prices. It was raining heavily and I didn't want to drive far. I had never been to Baciami before but heard good things about it. Well, thank God for the rain. We both loved the restaurant! Firstly, the place was beautiful. Very nicely decorated with comfortable and private little banquets for two. The help were extremely accommodating and friendly. The food we ordered was absolutely wonderful. The short ribs and pasta were out of this world. Incredibly delicious and generous portions. Was served a lobster that was dead prior to being cooked, as evident by the necrotic egg sacs in the tail of the lobster. When I asked for a different lobster,as I do not enjoy getting ammonia poisoning, they refused. I was charged for a lobster that I could not eat. The lack of regard for food safety is ALARMING! The manager also told me the lobster was "fine" as he servers 4,000 lobsters/ year and never once has he received a dead lobster from where they order lobsters in Maine. --- Logistically that is simply impossible.
