Stopped in at the "new" Bella Terra location late on a Wednesday night and there was still a decent little line, even close to 10 PM. I got a fresh waffle cone with Buttercream Pretzel and Peanut Butter Caramel Chocolate. Both were delicious. Super creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I really like ice cream that has crispy and chewy things mixed into it, and these had a great combination of both. I was hoping to try the Stracciatella, but they didn't have it at this location tonight. I think it may only be at Newport Beach or some of their other stores. Still, I'm glad I tried these flavors because they were both really good. The waffle cone was fresh and crisp and went perfectly with the extra creamy gelato-style ice cream. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie. I'm a pretty big chocolate chip cookie aficionado, and this one was different from the thick cookies you see everywhere now. It was really thin, buttery, and very crispy. If you like a thin crispy cookie, this is definitely worth trying. You could really taste the butter in it. It was a little pricey at $6.95 for such a thin cookie, but I'd consider it one of those decadent treats you get when you want something extra good. Nice little corner location at Bella Terra, clean inside, decent service, and a fun late-night stop. Definitely recommend it and I'll be back. read more

Since my birthday month just passed, I decided to sign up for all the birthday perks/giveaways. Unfortunately, I signed up a little too late, so I couldn't use my perk right away. Make sure you do it well in advance to get $5 off. The gelato shop is located in the Bella Terra shopping center in Huntington Beach. Parking can get a bit hectic since the center is always busy with people shopping and dining. Also, the shop itself is a bit small, but enough seating to dine in. The day we came in was during a weeknight; it was really busy, and the line was out the door. Unfortunately, the girl serving us was very flustered and annoyed, so the service wasn't too great. Yayyyyy, bacio di latte opened up in Bella Terra so it's much closer and convenient. No need to go to Irvine or Newport. The store is very cute with plenty of seats both indoor and outdoor. We came on a Sunday evening and there was a line out the door but it moves quickly as there were about 5-6 people working the counter. They offer samples if you're unsure of what you want. The piccolo (small) cup is plenty for me as you can choose 2 different flavors. I went with the pistachio and strawberry cheesecake. Both were so good! But pistachio is my personal favorite. One star deducted because service was very mid and inconsistent. Waiting in line means I had the time to observe and I noticed mostly the girls were the ones smiling and being welcoming while the guys were not as enthusiastic. I watched one male employee kind of stood back after he served one party and had his coworkers continue to serve other parties before he continue to do his job. Lazy lol. Bacio di Latte just opened their new location nearby me and I am super excited. I came here yesterday on their opening day to get some gelato with another person. It took over the old Jamba Juice and is located right by the parking lot. They had plenty of works so the line went fast. You can sample their many flavors to know what you want. I got a small cup with two flavors but everything I tried was food. It was the perfect consistency and sweetness. A portion is small but it is an enough. Besides so many different flavors of ice cream they also do dipped cones and have a wide variety of that to choose from as well. Oh and they have affogato and a whole coffee/latte menu. I think this location took over Jamba Juice! I really enjoyed the gelato here and the space is so beautiful and welcoming. Lots of seating available and fairly clean for a Friday afternoon. We got in line sampled a bunch of flavors. I found the popular pretzel flavor too sweet. I chose the tiramisu flavor, because it had a crunchy cookie topping. It didn't seem like lady fingers, but more like an Oreo cookie. The strawberry was tart and refreshing. I find the customer service good! This new Bacio Di Latte location is beautiful and truly brightens up this corner of Bella Terra. Upon walking in, there is a restroom to the right just in case the dairy runs through you quickly. Although it can get busy, especially at night, the line moves quick and the workers are punctual. As always, it is no surprise that their gelato tastes great at any location. The only downside is that people who are not customers sit down and take up the seats, but otherwise it's nice to have one closer to North OC. Definitely coming back! read more

I went to the grand opening last Friday, July 17th. All cups, cones and affogatos were 50% off on that day. They were also giving out free tote bags and towels. I ordered an affogato and it was so delicious. The expresso was perfectly balanced by the salted caramel gelato flavor I selected. The presentation made it feel more decadent. This place just opened and there were long lines but it went by fairly quick. Lots of workers helping out and allowing you to sample anything you want. Plenty of flavors and toppings. I got the giandujotto (hazelnut & chocolate) in a grande cup with pistachio cream lining the cup. I asked them for extra pistachio and they definitely gave a lot. The hazelnut flavor has real hazelnut in it as well as chocolate chunks. The first day they had 50% off cups and cones. It's right by the parking lot so a lot of spots available and there is one restroom inside. Also a lot of seating inside, more than other locations. read more

They've really great iced Latte's ,especially the Pastico latte tastes very well crafted and as advertised. I don't iced combinations that tastes nothing like what they're presented to be, like the Banana Matcha latte at Starbucks immatation Banana flavor, but I still like them. The Gelato is amazing and the time I went in on the Grand opening was amazing as well. I spoke with Chris for a few and met a few other members of the staff. I also invited the city council to come out and try it and two of them went!! I did experience one issue and I can admit not everyone can be perfect but the Girl Assistant Manager had a but of a attitude towards her co workers in the back it seemed.
