Sweet Corn Latte / 초당옥수수 라떼
    Rachel T.

This is the third location of Smoking Tiger that I had visited. Overtime I had seen an improvement in the size cup, today I ordered a large corn latte and I had noticed they upgraded the portion. The coffee is freshly brewed, blending well with the corn cream. I really enjoyed the ambience here, very spacious inside. They also have a lot of delicious pastries including basque burnt cheesecake, cookies, and many other types that I have not seen before. Employees were super friendly, service was great! Will come back soon.

Pretty good coffee. They had lots of flavors I've never even heard of. We got a regular iced latte and a strawberry matcha. It's next to the Northern Cafe. Will be back to try the other drinks soon. Happy Yelping!

On my way to San Diego had to pit stop for some coffee at Smoking Tiger in Huntington Beach! Large array of coffee, matcha and yummy pastries! Opt in for the Banana Latte and pair it with a savory treat of your choice! Friendly staff and barista, I recommend anytime you're near one of these coffee labs!

Prompt and friendly service, a variety of drinks, and delicious matcha. Ordered a strawberry matcha and it had a distinct strawberry flavor and a distinct matcha flavor. So so good. Price was reasonable and a cute little shop with lots of seating and cute products. First time customer and they seem to have several locations in the area. They also had a variety of desserts and snacks that I didn't sample because I just had lunch

This coffee shop is quite spacious with lots of parking. Banana milk latte ($6.50) - it's quite sweet and taste just like Korean banana milk. I think another shot of espresso would've balanced the flavor and sweetness out.

This is one of my go to coffee places whenever I am craving for some caffeine. I've been going here way too often since it's conveniently located nearby. I love getting their signature Tiger latte at 50% so that it still has a hint of sweetness without overpowering the coffee flavor. I like trying their other signature drinks just to change things up. I just recently tried their double down vanilla which was pretty good. It only comes in one did though which is sad. I wish they offered a large version. I love ordering via their app so I can just get in and out quickly. The only bad thing is that you can only order drinks. I love their bread, but you can't order it on the app so I haven't had a chance to eat it in a while. This location is located in a small strip mall area. There's plenty of parking which is convenient. The interior is small and cozy with some tables. There's usually some people studying whenever I go. Service has usually been good and interior looks clean.

My husband and I were in the area and wanting to try out a new spot. We were on Yelp and discovered this place. It's fairly new which is always exciting. Upon arrival we noted there's ample parking, it's located in the back corner of a shopping center. There's also seating inside and out which is always a plus. They serve sconkies (scone cookies) and they are to die for! They're perfect, super crumbly and beyond flavorful. They also had delicious Korean inspired croissants! We tried the jalapeño cream cheese musubi croissant and the kimchi musubi croissant and while they were both yummy I would've wanted slightly more kimchi though I'm sure they only put a little bit in them so the croissant doesn't get soggy! They warmed them up for us and they were so flaky and every bit of good I was hoping they would be. As for the coffee, we got the iced tiger latte and a sweet corn latte and they were both good. It was our first time trying the sweet corn latte and while we wouldn't get it again - it was still fun to try! Definitely tastes like corn and I felt like I should've been eating it rather than drinking it. Overall this was a cool, chill spot to stumble upon. We're definitely coming back!

Strawberry matcha was too sour for my liking and lacking the stronger matcha taste. Their pastries and coffee are much better. Very nice and quick service. Quiet atmosphere and seems like a nice place to work.

My sister treated me to this awesome sweet surprise during my staycation in OC with her. While lots of pastries and drinks were playfully Asian and fun-sounding, we came for their viral Dubai mochi, which was perfectly cool and crunchy on the inside, chewy smooth on the outside. I'm typically a fan of sharing sweet treats but it was a good call for my sister and me to each have our own. Clean, new, easy parking lot, seems like a chill place where you could potentially bring a laptop and take care of work here too

I've been to the grocery outlet a bajillion times but somehow never noticed this in the same lot. Really cute spot and easy to park. I had a seasonal black sesame latte and thought it was really good! Half sweetened (so just one pump of vanilla- the staff was so happy to accommodate) There's tons of Korean treats and i actually found a gluten free cheesecake. I had the hojicha one and wowzaaaa would like to go back. It's a crustless cheesecake and they checked the ingredients. Top tier as one of the staff was celiac so understood!

I wasn't sure what to expect but I enjoyed the coffee, the croissant was spam inside I'm sure is delicious but I didn't realize there was spam inside which was my bad so I didn't end up eating it. The store was clean and the customer service was great. Overall it was a good experience.

a card only establishment. this is one of smoking tiger's newer locations so that means less people. ample seating and had a small display case to showcase their pastries (not as extensive as the smoking tiger bread factory). the key ingredient for the drink was supposed to be yakult but it tasted more of a blueberry yogurt rather than the sweet and citrusy flavor that yakult has. the tiny bits of berries threw me off at first sip but got used to it as i kept drinking. the matcha itself was a bit more grassy and had that distinct korean matcha flavor LOL

Absolutely loved my visit. Honorable mention for the QR code that provides a list of allergy information, such a great resource! Epic love for the garlic bread so soft, buttery and yummy! I got the iced hojicha and it was delicious, definitely recommend if you already enjoy hojicha; it is the full effect here. Other drinks are smoking spaniard and tiger latte; both amazing choices as well. Service was amazing, staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in providing recommendations and adjustments per your taste. I love the purple accent decor as it really compliments the overall aesthetic.

I'm personally used to the funnel cakes from fairs and amusement parks that tend to be super crunchy and hard to break into sometimes from being fried too long. But this one.... SOFT. Fresh to order of course. Super easy to tear apart and scoop up the strawberries and whipped cream. I loved the texture, and the strawberries weren't too sweet at all. I think it's such a great sweet treat to have when in HB. There's also other goodies like cookies, brownies and drinks. Customer service was fast, standard, nothing else. & pricing is very fair. They have a small floating side table to eat off of, otherwise you'd eat this outside. It's pretty cramped inside. Parking is on main or in the close by parking garages. No restroom. Tiny lil thang.

Paid street parking with nominal fees were plenty available on a Wednesday afternoon. No lines upon entry and the service was quick and friendly. I got to watch how the funnel cake is created! I love fresh funnel cakes but had no idea what sort of monstrosity I ordered. My sundae came with huge scoops of two flavors of ice cream of my choice. Plus whipped cream and syrups of my choice. I wish I had the foresight to have the ice cream in a separate container to avoid the crispy fluffy funnel cake from going soggy quickly. I liked how not too sweet my ice creams were. The funnel cakes were thick and fluffy albeit a bit soggy due to the melting ice cream. I wouldn't mind revisiting again just to enjoy the treats. It is so worth the visit.

The Biscoff was good. I wish it had some kind of nut, like almonds or macadamia in it for texture with the white chocolate, but it was still delicious! The Tres Leches was the winner for me -- ooey, gooey, and it really did taste like a churro! Amazinggg But the Semi-Sweet Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt is like old reliable. I ended up getting off early so I called and asked if it would be available for 5PM. The associate told me "No it won't be ready, it would be ready closer to 6:30." We then agreed that I could stop by closer to their closing time (9pm) since I don't live in the area. I could drive home then come back to pick it up. I arrived at 8:15PM, the associate tells me when I arrive "I'm so sorry it's not ready, I thought you'd be here closer to 8:45PM." I say "No worries I'll come back at 8:45PM." I come back to pick up the cake. It comes out hot and newly decorated with icing. 10 minutes down the road I check the cake, and the icing is completely melted. By then it's 9pm and I can't turn around to go back to the store. The next morning around 11am I called the store to speak with the manager. I leave my contact info, and I receive a call within 20 minutes from the store manager, Dustin. I explain the situation and how the cake is not presentable anymore for the birthday event I ordered it for. He apologizes and offers a dozen cookies or a refund. Since there's no time for me to drive back to Huntington Beach for a party that is in Pasadena within the next hour, we opt for the refund and Dustin states, "This is my personal number, I'll shoot you a text when that refund goes through." A week later, no refund, no communication, no follow-up. I called Dustin one more time, left a voicemail and one additional text just incase. Over the course of several days, still no response. Suffice to say, it is what it is. I just wanted a refund for the cake that I bought which I ended up not even bringing to the event I got it for because of the melted icing. TLDR: product wasn't ready at the time it was agreed upon to be ready, when product was picked up it was faulty, the manager offered a refund that never came and ghosted me
