Fresh flavor alert!!! Had a great experience coming here for my birthday. I was helped by a scooper named Karina, she was so patient with me and took the time to explain all the flavors. I ended up getting two helpings of gelato! Highly recommend the Matcha Affogato with the raspberry sorbet and the Peanut Caramel gelato. When I went back for a coffee later in the night the taller mexican gentleman made me the best oatmilk latte ever. The store was clean and decorated so cutely, felt like I was in someone's home. After trying a bunch of gelato spots, I think this spot is one of the best I have tried so far. There are lots of positive things about this place; for example, the interesting flavors, the vibe is immaculate, and the service I had was incredible. A lady, Elaine, was super helpful despite the large number of customers waiting in line and was able to help checkout for me. The long line is kind of annoying, and there wasn't much place to sit, but I wouldn't be too unhappy since the gelato tasted great. Would recommend to family and friends. read more

Saw several videos on social media raving about this place and went to check it out... the gelato is fantastic! There was a long and slow moving line(as people were taking time to decide which flavor to order). The hazelnut flavor in particular was a standout. i saw this gelato spot was trending and thought "why not try it? it seems promising." IT IS NOT PROMISING. save your money and go somewhere else for some authentic gelato or fly to italy because bacio di latte is not worth your time, let alone your money. first off, there is an overwhelming amount of flavors to choose from. plus, if it's your first time, you feel rushed to try samples because of the massive line behind you that wraps around the building, and then you end up picking some flavor you didn't try and hate because the pressure of being rushed was looming over you. the least i could say was that i was simply overwhelmed. i don't think you need 20+ flavors for a gelato shop. this is not baskin-robbin's, although baskin-robbin's would've been a better choice than this monstrosity. second, flavors are really sweet. they don't taste light or creamy like REAL gelato would. for some reason, the flavors just weren't as flavorful as one would think. i did try a couple samples and each time, i was like "why could this be better??" third, prices are WILD! it's $8 for the SMALLEST CUP (looks like a child's cup) and then $12 for a "grande" which honestly looks like a medium.. don't get me started on the prices if you want a cone.. you'll have to sell your kidney for that one and possibly another organ just to have your cone dipped in nutella or pistachio spread.. fourth, i don't know who designed the interior of this spot but it was not done well. personally, i think the fire marshal should come check this place out because if there was an earthquake, EVERY PIECE OF DECOR would fall from the shelving that goes all the way to the darn ceiling. i simply stood in line thinking "all these plates and jars and books and random items are a complete hazard to society. oh, and look, they go all the way to the ceiling, lovely." all this to say, save your money and get gelato at Eataly that actually tastes like you've been imported to italy! plus, you don't have to sell your many organs for one gelato at this bacio spot and waste your time waiting in a line that feels like eternity. read more

This is not authentic gelato. It's aerated and lacks flavor and my friend said hers had a chemical taste like it was an imitation flavor. It looks really fancy but don't fall for it! It's also way too expensive! We both got the smallest size and it was $17 for two. read more

i was so excited to see that bacio di latte was opening up shop in the bay, so we made the trip to valley fair on a rainy tuesday night. flavors were great, and that's where the good part ends. itzel pretty much ruined the visit with her attitude. she got us the samples we asked for, and then got distracted by another customer and stopped paying attention while i was ordering. i asked for a regular with 3 flavors, and she missed what i said and started scooping regular stracciatella. i had to correct her, and she also gave us the smallest cup size, when we ordered the regular. when she handed it to us and rung us up for a regular size, i asked if the cup was correct because my boyfriend and i could see other people getting 3 flavors in a larger cup and she immediately dismissed me and said yes. rude for no reason and i could be wrong about the cup, but everyone else with 3 flavors definitely had the size up . 8.95 for a tiny cup of ice cream and bad service hurts. maybe it's been a busy week? but wasn't crowded when we got there. read more

I've been here a few times and the high-quality gelato with rich flavors and the high end marketing lives up to the hype. However, every time I've visited, the shop has been extremely busy with a long line out the door. It seemed like there weren't enough staff only 3-4 at night and sometimes 2 members during the day which made the wait much longer than expected. The employees there remained friendly despite the constant line. I think the store could really do something about the understaffing during peak hours. The gelato itself was great and worth trying, but paying $10 for about 150 grams of gelato + the 30+ min wait wasn't that worth it. I have experience in food service so I know that there is so much that a understaffed crew can do. I think they should have a few more workers to balance the workload and line. read more

I ordered one of the regular size two scoops waffle cone and a one scoop affogato. My total after the 50% discount was $15.82 for opening week. That seems very pricey. So regular price it would have cost $33 for two items? I think the girl rung it up wrong. Be careful and watch what they type in.... Two scoops waffle cone should have been 12.50 not $15.15 which is what she typed in I guess, and a one scoop affagato should be 9.75. 12.50+ 9.75 = 22.50 divided by 2 = 11.50 plus about $1 for tax. So 12.50 somehow turned into $15.82? I can't seem to make sense why I was charged $15.82 when it should have been a grand total of $12.50 ish with taxes included. I did not tip because it seems they were already falsely inflating their prices and charging more than they should. read more

Disappointed in the quality and value. It's in a great location and seemed pretty clean, but they aren't serving actual, traditional gelato. It isn't creamy or rich in flavor and had a processed taste. It's pretty expensive for this lack of flavor. Save your money and go to somewhere like Gelato Classico. read more
