Came here during their soft opening week while they were training their staff and everything was 50%. They told me that today (2/5) is the last day for this promo. Delicious gelato in a great spot at Santana Row! The workers are friendly and the store itself is very cute, with indoor and outdoor seating. There are lots of flavors, and we tasted a couple before deciding. My Affogato was really good! They sell pints to take home and have big waffle cones and bowls, as well as cookies and brownies (but that showcase was empty when we were there). We've been here a few times and we like the gelato. The ambiance is okay but do expect lines on weekends (no surprise here) Bumping this review down to 3 stars because the service staff who helped us was kinda rude. I get that the lines are long during summer but that isn't an excuse for sloppy service. When we asked her to try 2 of the flavours available, she looked like she was so done with her shift. No response, no confirmation just handed us the sample stick while talking to her co-worker. We eventually bought a pint, once we placed our order with her she didn't say anything and walk to the fridge upfront. Came back and handed us the pint, we said thank you but what followed was silence. I don't expect big smiles and a warm welcome but at least the basic customer service which was lacking. Anyway I would recommend the gelato, but hopefully they will look into training their staff so the price matches the experience read more

Arrived around 9:30pm on a Wednesday night with a party of two and was quite surprised with how long the line was. We waited for about 40 minutes to pick flavors and exit the store with our orders in hand. I ordered the Regular Cup (3 flavors) and chose the Strawberry Cheesecake, Crema Torino and Peanut Butter Caramel Chocolate. My friend also chose Crema Torino in her order and it was both of our favorites. Definitely worth trying during their 50% sale (end Thursday 2/5) since it is quite pricey for the size however quality is totally there. Every flavor I've tried has been well-balanced and tastes true to the ingredients. My absolute favorite is the tiramisu. It has the perfect balance of espresso, mascarpone, and cocoa flavors, and I love that they sell it by the pint so I can enjoy it at home--although I do wish it were a little more affordable because it's that good! The shop is almost always busy, so expect a line, but the staff works efficiently and keeps things moving as quickly as possible. Seating is fairly limited, so it's more of a grab-your-gelato-and-go kind of place. If you're a gelato lover, Bacio di Latte is absolutely worth the visit. We got some flavors, the chocolate pistachio, cookie crumble and also the strawberry shortcake. Consistency is good, and I liked the strawberry shortcake the best. This place is very yummy. The gelato is great and the portion size is great. We didn't really have to wait in line for a long time. We got 2 flavors in a cup with a waffle thing. Like a waffle bowl? I can't remember what it was called. We got the pistachio crunch flavor and then custard cookies and cream. My only issue is that the workers are really hard to hear even though there's no loud music or anything. It's almost like they are scared to speak to you. I had to keep asking what and then trying really hard to hear what they were saying. I also kept hearing a lot of people doing the same thing and then the workers being like "ummm" and I saw two standing off to the side twirling their hair. I don't know if everyone there just is really anxious or what was going on. But I hope it was just a one off because that's a really odd experience I've never had before. read more

After the first sample I felt judged for trying the flavors. She would be chatting and not as attentive. She even spun around like she was bored then handed me the sample. Before my last one she audibly sighed which made me angry and annoyed. Then she said "soooooooo do we know what we want?" Then I ordered reluctantly feeling un wanted in the store. It is pricey but high quality and definitely better than area gelato. There is a cute vibe inside but limited seating especially given the crowds. Thankfully they were very well staffed, asked about allergies, and clearly enjoy their products. I chose a piccolo size, which can be up to 2 flavors, and went with stracciatella and hazelnut experience-- both excellent but I favored the hazelnut experience that tasted like a decadent, Ferrero Rocher ! My husband got the Fragola latte and pistachio -- The Fragola latte (strawberry cream) was the winner in his cup, decadent and fruity. I used to visit this place everytime I went to LA so having it in the Bay Area makes me very happy.I tried Giandujotto 3 Cioccolati & Pistacchio, they were all amazing.
