Room and Board are purveyors of fine furniture. The vast majority of what they sell is made in the US and are one of those lifetime purchases because of the quality. For us in particular the aesthetic of many of what they sell fit perfectly in our Eichler (Mid-Century modern) home. We were pleased to find a new shelving system there. We have tried for some time to find a Wegener shelving system. However, the ridiculous prices for this iconic bit of mid century modern is beyond out means. However, they now make a modern version. The sales person and I spent a bit talking about Wegener's designs and we went on our way. This is a smaller R&B but the service we have come to expect is the exact same as we have experienced in the San Francisco store. Unobtrusive and helpful is the best description. Unlike other places where you are almost stalked, you can roam and contemplate to your hearts content

Probably the most outstanding aspect of this store (for me) is the customer service...I'm always treated well here by all the employees (and not just one or two, as is usually the case in a larger store). When I called about a specific type of item the associate who answered immediately found what I was looking for and reassured me they would place a hold on the item until I arrived. When I did get to the store and purchase the item (right before the store closed) another employee helped me carry the very bulky furniture piece out to my car. This is a very fun place to browse and look around....it almost feels like I'm shopping at a museum store...

The sales person was helpful and friendly, but the quality of the delivered products was poor. One of the chairs had its base installed upside down (felt on the top instead of the bottom). This appeared to be intentional, because the side that was supposed to be on the top was severely scratched. The delivery people took the chair to be "fixed" but so far we have no idea how or how well they will to do this. My confidence in this company is very low at the moment. Additionally, the fabric on the chairs is poorly upholstered. There are lots of unsightly wrinkles, and the seams are a bit uneven. For a high end brand that charges top dollar, these levels of quality and service are completely unacceptable. If the company makes things right for us, I will amend this review.

I went to Natuzzi in UTC and was immediately greeted and taken care of by Marcos Camberos. After explaining what I was looking for and why, Marcos had me try several sofas that offered the features I wanted. After three hours, I selected two sofas that fit my needs but wasn't sure how they would fit in my space. Marcos came to my home, measured and after many hours and a second trip to my home, he was able to create a configuration with the modular pieces that would fit beautifully and provide me every feature I wanted. His professionalism, knowledge and determination to find a solution was well beyond anything I could have expected. He demonstrated a positive, fun shopping experience and was able to patiently answer every question I asked.
