People were seated around the bar. It could've been a bad day - but, didn't see any real reason. This place is actually in another place. The name on the door isn't Bad-Ass Burritos. These were humongous and absolutely amazing! A little window within a sports bar on a halfway finished new strip mall, I never expected to find such good burritos! This place doesn't disappoint! I had no idea they were located in Burbank. We always order breakfast via DoorDash and had no clue. That makes it even better because every time we receive our huge order, it's hot and fresh! No soggy Tater Tots and cold burritos! Our favorites are the Wurst Burrito, Bronco Burrito and the Haus Burrito. Those burritos were the top favorites at the office and of course, their Tater Tots. I can personally say my favorite is the Wurst. It has your choice of eggs and sausage, American cheese, caramelized onions and Tater Tots. They also have a house sauce, too. Just perfectly put together. I'm not a burrito fan AT ALL but really liked how this burrito tasted. It doesn't taste like a bunch of dry ingredients stuffed into a burrito. It has a great melt in your mouth texture. I was pleasantly surprised. The house sauce wasn't overpowering and added to the flavor. The Tater Tots are fantastic. By the time they get to us, all of the food is hot and the tots are still crispy! The portions are big. My Wurst burrito lasted me two days. They're huge and heavy, too. Great tasting food with Big portions, if your in and out of the Burbank area this is a must visit spot. It is inside "Dog haus biergarten" perfect place for happy hour. Also one thing to love is it isn't over crowded, plenty of parking, great customer service. The inside of this place will give you a sports bar vibe. I had the impossible burrito, eggs scrambled with the spicy mayo. I will definitely order from here again. If you're craving an amazing burrito don't wait, just order, you'll be happy you did. Couple of tips if ordering delivery. - they put the sauce on the burrito so if you want it on the side specify that. I was really happy it was in the burrito but that may not be for everyone. - it's eggs and potatoes. It will be a bit cold when delivered. I'm being picky here because breakfast burritos are all good you can't go wrong but in LA the competition is fierce and this was just ok for me. It has a lot of egg proportion, the tater tots weren't crunchy and the breakfast sausage was pretty good but that with the caramelized onions made it very sweet combined with the aioli you needed hot sauce to cut it. Got the Haus Burrito this morning for breakfast to split with my husband "to go". We were super hungry so I don't have a photo of it but it was mostly scrambled egg and hardly any other ingredients present. We paid to add avocado and they barely put any at all in it. I wasn't sure how the spicy mayo would be on it, but didn't remove it because I figured they must have a reason for it. Glad I kept it, it adds flavor and a hint of spice. The restaurant is cute and we would love to come back and eat outside on the patio. They also have some games (like a large sized Connect 4, jenga blocks, and catch the ring on the hook) which is nice if you're there to drink and hang for a while! It was strange walking in to an empty restaurant with no front of house employees in yet.I found the computers to order on, on the left as you walk in - there's no signage though to direct you. You got the choice of whether you wanted your eggs scrambled or fried - should have gone fried. You get a text when your burrito is ready and pick it up from a window in the back of the restaurant. I didn't know that the new Dog Haus in Burbank was also the home of Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos. I'm not going to lie, the breakfast burrito I had, the Chachi with jalapenos added was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had and they are one of my go to favorites. I've had them in California, Mexico, Washington, Oregon, Colorado and even in Haltwhistle, Northern England, and this was the best. Excellent spicy Italian sausage and pastrami, crispy tots and had my eggs scrambled with pickled jalapenos added. Ridiculously good. My wife had the Haus Special and she also said it was the best breakfast burrito she's ever had. We sat on the patio and played cards enjoying the beautiful spring weather. The service was excellent as well. I'm going to buy breakfast burritos for my crew at work next week and blow some Mexican minds. read more
