I brought my service dog with me a few days ago and he was just sitting or laying down all throughout the line, wasn't making a ruckus or bothering anyone.. and as I was walking out, one of the ladies behind the counter yells at me saying to keep the door shut and that dogs aren't allowed inside and that's INCLUDING service animals. I've tried the regular staxxx, ube staxxx, and the ube mochi donut. The staxxx are good. The ube staxxx is ok too but there's no ube flavor. The staxxx is what they call their senorita bread. Starbread still has the best senorita bread. Their ube mochi donut is not good. It's way too sweet and there's no ube flavor at all. I probably won't come here again. Nice try with the ube but there needs to be more actual ube in your ube baked goods. read more

These aren't your usual donuts. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing, it's just that if you are looking for traditional donuts, this isn't the place to go. We are pretty new to the area and this place had been getting a lot of buzz so we were excited to try out on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The place was clean and "cool" a lot of style went into the setup and displays. However, a donut place has to be judged by the donuts at the end of the day and the donuts we had were severely lacking. We only got a half dozen with 4 of the more creative donuts and 2 old fashioned. The newer donuts were very interesting, loaded with a ton of toppings (cereal, hot cheetos, bacon) but for each of them the cereal was super stale. This basically ruined the donut (3/4 in our case). Seeing some of the other reviews it seems like stale donuts is a recurring problem here, it's sad because fresh with crisp cereal I would have probably been closer to 4 stars. This place is charging premium prices but not delivering quality (or fresh) donuts. Another slight nitpick, most of the donuts were single priced at 2.75 but the 6 pack "discount" was $17 (or higher for some). I'm not sure if there was something I was supposed to get for the upcharge but I sure hope it wasn't .50 extra just for the box. It's a shame because the staff was super nice, and I really wanted to enjoy this place. We may give it one more chance and just ask, "hey what is freshly made" but I would say avoid any cereal or crispy topping choices if they are not fresh. read more

GET EVERYTHING!! everything from the can sodas to the cookies at the register! donuts were amazing, and if you were to get the raised ones, you'd get a little syringe with cream for them! the mochi donuts were hands down amazing, and worth the wait for a fresh batch in the morning! and the lumpias. man, i don't know where to begin. Stopped by the store to pick up a few donuts. Some of the better donut options within the EG community. However, this recent trip was just ok. It was a high time during the day after lunch. It was busy however only had two workers up front doing cashier. There was a boy and a girl. He completely skip me while waiting in line for service. The couple behind me was white. Didn't bother to ask who was next in the line or who was ready for the next order. He just assumed that they were next in line to be served. The girl on the other hand was sweet and helped me out with my order. She was made sure I had everything right and made me feel welcomed. Heard about the rage of mochi donuts. I'm a newbie to this! Didn't find it great:/ it was good but nothing spectacular. Nothing against bad bakers . By the time I ordered and tried it all I can taste is it's oily. It was good , just I expected more for the hype. The kronuts on the other hand pretty good! Real fun how they have the injection flavor. Will go back for kronuts. Just wish it stayed crispy for a longer time. Literally was a 10-20 min drive and finally to taste the amazing hype was a "meh". Also, flies mentioned by other reviewers is true. Went here twice. First time purchase wasn't for me, second time yes. First visit no mochi donuts (7:15am) maybe too early? I'll get to the worst part- we found a long piece of lint baked inside one of the ube staxx. The best part- I could taste the ube in their ube crinkle cookies! It wasn't as fresh as I'd like since the sugar melted and coated the cookie so there wasn't that fine sugar powder dust, signature of crinkle cookies. Longer story- Swung by Bad Bakers twice and both were not an enjoyable experience. It's difficult to tell what the flavors were since they were unlabelled. When I asked the associate, she went through them very fast. We bought two and left. The store was nice and clean though. Second time around, I came specifically for the Ube Staxx. A different associate didn't know the difference between the ube staxx and pan de ube....she didn't even want to ask another coworker to help me, just said "I don't know." The staxx were put in the box messily, some were in a bag, which had sugar everywhere so the bag was sticky. We waited 5 minutes for the regular staxx and when she gave us the rest of our order, we had 5 small boxes and 2 bags to juggle with two people. All of this is sticky, y'all. We asked another associate if we can get a box to hold the two sticky bags and he kindly offered a bag instead. The staxx itself was small but tasted fine, not much ube flavor. We also got a smores cronut, which my bf loved. I'd probably drive further next time to South Sac to get the seniorita bread instead there. They're def putting the bad in bad bakers. :\ read more

We were excited to try this place after it wasn't so busy. I love donuts and I suppose these donuts are okay in taste and spongy and not exceptional for the price. My daughter loves senorita bread so we also got some and she didn't even like them, too bland. The price is what got me, I was almost embarrassed on how much money my tab was for six donuts and the bread, I was in shock and can't even repeat it was so steep. This place is a bomb. Used to work near Bad Bakers. My breakfast was Jallaepeno and cream cheese bread. Could't get enough of it. Was getting my tires done accross the street. Walked to Bad Bakers, got half a dozen donuts. half a dozen jallepeno and cream cheese for everybody. Girl behind the counter said still had donuts left but the bread was gone.
