Bad Boys Pizza. We go way back to the beginning nearly 23 years ago when they first opened after it being a long time neighborhood Italian Focacceria. The pizza then was good and still is just as good with the original owner behind the counter slinging pies. Stopped by recently and got a square and a round. The square was perfectly crispy layered with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The dough itself wasn't too heavy at all while not being overly light either. 10/10 on the square. The round was also perfect. The undercarriage was aching of beauty. My neighbor loves this place and I decided to try it. I got the Sicilian pie and that was delicious. It had a thick and fluffy crust. The sauce and cheese was delicious. Most recently, I got the plain pie and it left a lot to be desired. The pie wasn't very flavorful and soggy. It was very underwhelming. The crust was plain and had no flavor. I am not sure if they use a different sauce for the regular and Sicilian but it was definitely lacking when I get the plain. read more

Came to Bad Boys Pizza on a whim. I was craving simple Italian American Food. It's a really small spot with outdoor seating. The menu is not extensive but they offer staples for a reasonable price. I placed a to-go order for a Sicilian Slice, Chicken Roll, and Mozzarella Sticks. The total came up to $16 even. I dressed my Sicilian with grated Parm, red pepper flakes, and oregano. II'm not usually a Sicilian lover but I have to say that it hit the spot. My hunny enjoyed his chicken roll. We both agreed that the mozzarella sticks were yummy. The breading was perfect. After they closed on 86 st , my family was at a loss and tried the replacement pizzeria and a few other nearby pizza spots...none of them were as good. Good local neighborhood pizza. I've had bad boys before when they were in their old location in 86st. I found them again at their new location. Pizza is still good with their soft crust. The buffalo wings were okay. Had a good amount of meat and they were thick. Sauce was good with a nice little kick. The calamari was meh and I would not get again. The garlic knots were worth and definitely would get again. Baked clams were a hard no for me because it didn't taste fresh and had a weird taste. read more

I have been a customer of Bad Boys Pizza for about 20 years now & they have never disappointed! When I moved back to Bensonhurst with my husband 12 years ago, I introduced him to them, & he immediately loved them every since too! Now, we have a 7 year old daughter, who is a very picky eater, & she loves them too! Our favorites are their regular slices, white slices, margherita slices, penne & vodka sauce with grilled chicken, & chicken rolls. They also have spectacular customer service & their service size & slice sizes are always generous. On multiple occasions they have even made us our own little mini pie of white pizza when we ordered 2 white slices late in the evening & they were already out of them for the day! A couple of days before Christmas, the priest at the Saint Mary Mother of Jesus Church ordered from this pizzeria for his volunteers. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza. There were a lot pepperoni on an eight slices pie. It was hot and delicious. Also, I usually pick up an order of garlic knots on my way home. For 5 pieces, it costs $1. I recommend it. They are oily and garlicky. It's that good that I don't mind that my breath stinks after eating these. read more

This is a no frills Brooklyn pizzeria located in Bensonhurst. I came in to the pizzeria about 7pm on a Saturday night they didn't have a huge selection to choose from so I went with a regular slice and a square and my mom opted for a fresh mozzarella slice.I took a seat in the back of the pizzeria and they brought out our pizza to us piping hot. I have to say I was pretty impressed with how good the slice and square was the fresh mozzarella was a little underwhelming, but definitely a good place to stop in for a slice. read more

This is honestly my go to place when it comes to pizza. It's not the closest but t definitely worth buying from here. The pizza is always fresh (pies)! The prices have indeed increased a bit (about 25¢-75¢ depending on the item ordered). I asked why the price increase and they said it's been difficult getting the fresh ingredients. The Sicilian pizza is always "thick" and crunchy. The best I've ever had. Garlic knots too; always nice and fluffy. Honestly I've only really had one bad experience here, but that was almost 3 years ago. I ordered garlic knots and when I got them, they were SUPER greasy. It made me feel a bit sick, just looking at it. This only happened to me once, so I guess that was just a bad day. Ive been ordering here for years. I've seen that one old guy (I think it's the manager or owner) work his ass off every single day for most of my life. He use to make everything himself, back when he had little staff. Now, he has a ton of help from those he hired. Two in particular have worked with him for quite a long time too. Great service. Fast and simple. Bad Boys Pizza is possibly one of the best pizzerias that I've been to mostly because I grew up eating their pizza. It's super convenient for me since I live so close and their pizza never disappoints! The pizzas are delicious here! I usually get mushroom slice or chicken slice. They don't use real mushrooms here, but it's still delectable! This is the only pizzeria that I know has a rice ball. If you don't know what it is, it's basically a fried ball of rice with a hint of tomato sauce with peas and ground beef in the center. So good! Their Sicilian pizza (if made fresh) is fantastic! Each slice is humongous and with lots and lots of cheese. I also tried their grilled chicken Casear salad which was a decent size, but didn't taste good at all, so don't think I would be a getting a salad from them again. Be warned, as my review might be biased since I'm a longtime customer, but Bad Boys Pizza is often my go-to spot (suck it, L&B) when I'm back in the old neighborhood. Even though their grandma pies hold up well against local competition, and their Sicilian pies are some of my favorite, it's their classic Neapolitan pizza that keeps me coming back for more. While it's not the coal oven slices that seem to be all the rage, the undercarriage always has a nice char and the crust has a decent crunch upon first bite followed by a playful chew into sauce and cheese. Decent pizza. I found that the crust sometimes isn't consistent. Sometimes the crust's texture is perfect, sometimes it's either too hard or soft. If the crust was more consistent I think I'd enjoy my pizza much more. The cheese and tomato sauce were both very flavorful. I moved in about a year or so ago and came to this place because it was conveniently down the block. At first, it was so-so. I would get regular slices and the chicken rolls. Then, one day, when I actually paid attention to the food that was displayed, i saw a grandma slice. I figured why not?
