The food and service was very good. The place is updated but has a rustic feel. The portions size of the food was good, though you could share an appetizer which would be okay. There are some tables in the front and then higher bar type tables in the back. There is no bar but you can order drinks as if at a bar. The sound level was from quiet to average noise level. I had the Napoleon which was good and opted for the fries instead of the chips. Hubby had the bleu cheese burger which he liked. He also had an order of hot wings. If you're a beer drinker, get the 23 oz which is only a little more than the regular size draft beer. read more

We had a couple of beers, some thai chili wings, and sliders--half of them pulled pork and the other half burger. The only reasons I'm not giving five stars here are (1) the service was slow and (2) the burger sliders were not good. Expanding on (2), we saw on the walls that Bad Boyz had been voted best burger in Bedford, so the poor quality of the burger sliders came as quite a surprise. Extremely clever place. The menu is highly amusing, and well thought out. Food is good, but not great. I would recommend the mozz sticks (beer battered, very good) though the fried zucchini planks should be passed on. The garlic parmesan wings might be the best thing i've had here, very flavorful, good sized wings. Food is cheap, definitely worth what your paying for. A little dirty and dark inside, it has a dicey feel to it, but nothing to bad. Not a bad place to grab a beer in the afternoon and some bar food. read more

I have taken my family to eat here about six times since October and honestly the atmosphere is great. Can get a bit noisy and rowdy at time depending on when you arrive but it a pretty great place. The food is really decent and the prices aren't bad either. The staff is always very friendly and at times when the place is packed you could wind up waiting to be seated or your food. But all in all I am very happy with this place and I have eating in places around the world not just in Bedford in case you were wondering. read more

Went there today for the first time. Full house, 2 waitresses. 55 min later still no appetizer, waitresses in tears, no food moving out of kitchen. No manager or owner present. Felt terrible for the server....when we asked how much longer she thought it would be (because we had an appointment to be to), she broke out crying at our table and said just go ahead and go and we wouldn't be charged for our drinks. We hung out at the bar in the back to watch a hokey game and ordered lunch. It's pretty standard bar fare with apps, sandwiches, burgers, etc. The theme off the menu, having "Bad Boy" names for things was kind of annoying, i.e. The Tony as the name for the meatball sandwich. Just call it what it is, right? Anyway, said Tony was pretty standard, the person in our party who ordered it, liked it well enough. I got The Mummy Wrap, which is a turkey wrap, that was kind of dry. Another person ordered The Wild Bill, a chicken sandwich and he said it was fine. I do like that they have vegetable side dishes, I had broccoli with my wrap. Towards the end of the game we got The Brat app to share (you see how the name thing get's old really fast?) which is fries with cheese sauce, sour cream, chili & bacon. We ate at the bar.. shared The Fonzie Ayyyyy mozzarella sticks (half beer battered half breaded) and were typical and good! I opted for the Tricky Dick wrap (buffalo chicken with lettuce, diced tomato and pepper parm dressing). Loved it! Nothing overwhelming, but hit the spot! My partner got the Tony which is the meatball sub. He said the same thing. Don't eat here. Every time I bring my family here to eat, I regret my decision and remember why it is so long since we actually go here. It took nearly 45 minutes for my cold steak salad, my wife's cheese steak and my daughters burnt grilled cheese to come out. The unsweetened iced tea was basically colored water. Had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. With no one in line in front of us and plenty of tables open. When this placed first opened it was great. There were a few other people around us, that came in before us, we were the lucky ones to to get served first, I would be rather mad if I were them, but instead I am setting here not eating my terrible salad, typing this review. How do you even mess up a salad? First thing I ate was the tomato, it tasted rotten, and I guess set the mood for the rest of the meal. Not worth 13.00. Again I say, go somewhere else. read more

I've been to Bad Boyz a few times over the past few years and it has always been decent for the sandwiches I've ordered. While there is nothing gourmet about the offerings, the burgers, wings, cheesesteaks, etc come in sizable portions and will make sure that you don't leave hungry. The atmosphere is nice, clean and fun. I don't really like the theme of famous "bad boys" and the narratives about them in the menu means one needs to do a lot of reading to figure out what each sandwich contains. While the place serves beer, they do not promote it at all and they have no type of menu telling what is available in either draft or bottle. Sometimes they have a few decent bottles of craft beers hiding in the cooler, but good luck finding a waitress that knows about them. Service has consistently been below average when I've been here, with order mix-ups and slow drink refills. Nothing fancy here, but not bad option if you're looking for bar food. read more

Just had lunch at Bad Boyz around noon today. I ordered the Dallas Melt (grilled chickenbreast with melted Swiss cheese on Texas toast) and liked it very much. Instead of chips I ordered the fries, which cost $1.49 extra. They should come with any sandwich instead of being extra. I also ordered the quesadillas as an appetizer, which were tasty. I liked the food and the waitress was nice and attentive, but found the prices a little steep. My bill for the Dallas Melt, appetizer, and iced tea was $24. But, then again, even fast food joints have become overpriced these days. It was good enough that I plan on returning one day. read more

Had a quick dinner here on an early Sunday evening, in part because most other places were closed (a vestige of PA's blue laws?). Had the Italian Stallion...a Philly cheesesteak sort of thing that had reasonable flavor and came with a side of good chips. I'm sure there are better Phillies in the world but this was fine in a pinch. The child w/us had some chicken tenders which looked grim. All the sandwiches had cutesy names which were too cutesy. Stopped here on way home from a Penn State football game. First time here and was highly impressed by the quality and taste of the food and the service. We arrived around 4:30 and the restaurant was empty. The hostess and waitress were very attentive and pleasant. My husband had the wings for an appetizer and I had the fried zucchini. Both were brought to the table in a reasonable time. I had the Justified burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had, perfectly cooked. Decided to stop into this place during Bedford Fall Foliage Festival instead of eating fair food. Food was just OK. I had a simple bacon cheese burger that was cooked to medium at best despite my medium well request. Wait staff was visibly annoyed to be dealing with increased traffic and made no attempt to hide it. When silverware was requested (despite our table of 4), the waitress only delivered 1 set of utensils. The highlights were that the Wisconsin cheese soup was good and the waitress asked if we would like our child's food to come out first which we appreciated. If we were more local to the area I don't believe I would return as the menu carries a premium price. read more

I drove over from the neighboring county to try the food on a Thursday night and listen to the entertainment that they had on their FB site. I previewed this Matt Otis and the Sound on u tube prior to going and thought they sounded good. I got there early to have dinner and get a "good seat" as it was a holiday night and I "thought" seating would be limited. I was wrong... the place was pretty much empty (only 3 other couples) The menu seemed confusing to read yet I thought I couldn't go wrong with a bowl of their featured soup and a philly cheese steak. The waitress asked me if I wanted an additional side for $1.00 extra, but the sandwich came with chips so I told her not now. After a while no soup, but out comes my sandwich. I asked the waitress about the soup and after I'm halfway done with my sandwich out comes the soup (her apologies). The cheese steak roll was 1/2 stale - the chesse had disintegrated to nothing from being placed on too hot of steak and the seasoned Old Bay chips where only 1/3 seasoned and hard like they had been sitting for a couple of hours. The soup Cheesy Potato with Bacon tasted more like Cream of Potato and I could not detect much bacon in it. When the entertainment started Matt Otis (only him and 1 other guy) not the 4 like is on their u tube site, I was surprised to see a cover sheet of nothing but oldies type music and not much of what I had listened to on the Facebook site (I guess the others that where missing affected what they played) In addition there was no stage per say that these guys performed on, the TV was left on behind them as they performed and the lighting was left on like while they performed. I felt like I was sitting under an interrgation light... Pretty sad ambiance for live entertainment if you ask me. After sitting there for awhile and ordering one more beer the waitress asked me if I would like anything else so I thought I would go for that side order that was offered to me at dinner. Some Onion Rings - can't go wrong with them right? Wrong - they where barely cooked and I had to chomp them with my front teeth to break them in half for dipping in the packaged ranch sauce that came with them. To top it all off they wanted to charge me the full side price for these even though if they come with the meal, which I ordered it would have only been $1.00. Bedford is my family's half way meet up spot. My sister lives in Pittsburgh, we live in Hagerstown, MD. Every once in awhile, we need to get away and will meet in Bedford. We usually always go to Jean Bonnet's. It's really good there, but today we wanted something different. We rode by Bad Boyz and saw that is was actually open (a lot of places are closed on Sundays in Bedford). So we decided to give it a try. We walked in and it is smaller, but in a nice and cozy way. We were immediately seated by a very nice hostess/waitress. It wasn't very busy, but those who were there were definitely enjoying themselves and the food. It was a nice atmosphere. I have two boys that can get pretty loud and I sometimes get angry and annoyed glares from other patrons and staff- but not here! The menu was very creative when it came to naming the entrees! I ordered the Justice Burger and fries, my sister got a huge chicken salad (can't remember the name of it though), and my fiancée tried out the fried clam strip sub (again, can't recall what they called it) and my older son had a hot dog. (They have a nice selection for kids and good prices too!) Everything was delicious! Service was quick, and was never absent for too long, yet wasn't checking on 'how is everything' every 5 minutes. Decided to try this place out after hearing about it from friends. All I can say is, "Never Again". Sub par service and the food was definitely nothing to write home about. My husband and I both ordered steaks with loaded baked potatoes and side salads. Till I was done picking the rotten lettuce out of my salad, there was nothing left. Surprisingly, that worked to my advantage because it took so long to get the salads, my steak was ready before I could have eaten a salad anyway. I would excuse this in a busy restaurant. I have a hard time excusing it when my server is sitting at a table chatting with two other employees. Neither of our steaks were prepared the way we had requested. My husbands medium-well was over cooked and dry. My well done was still bloody and red inside. The "Au jus" they serve with the steaks had something floating in it. I fished it out thinking it may have been a piece of onion....NO..it was paper..and I'm not talking about a small piece. This was at least an inch square. At that point, my "meal" was over..I couldn't bring myself to even try to eat anything there. Hell, I'm just glad I made it out of there without food poisoning. read more

this place is awful. i got a cheesesteak sandwich. it was four spoonfuls of steakum---no onions or peppers on a hotdog bun for 9 bucks. i was eating with six friends and everything was either cold or meager portions. we ordered a pitcher of beer. when we recieved our bill they charged us fifteen dollars for a pitcher of beer. outrageous. never ever go there---this is one business that doesnt have a chance---simply because they overprice cheaply prepared food let it get cold. then over charge on beer---honestly 15 bucks for a pitcher of beer--we got 4 glasses of beer out of it. read more
