    dirty soda!

I went to this restaurant with my family and it was absolutely amazing!! The service was wonderful and we enjoyed the food. I had the buffalo chicken dip appetizer for my dinner and it was amazing. The environment is super cute and I love the glasses you get beverages in. Loved the dirty sodas also. The merch store is awesome too. Definitely will be going back when we go on vacation next year. Great stop!!

It seems like people go bananas for bad monkey, it was packed when we got there around 9amish for 3- had a little bit of a wait, maybe 5-10 minutes. They have no the indoor and outdoor seating, we opted for indoor because it was a bit windy outside. Our server was Drew, who was great! He had recommended the breakfast tacos but I couldn't give up ordering a Crabcake so I ordered the Sunny Side of the Bay and my dad got the Westside omelet. The chorizo and potatoes on my entree were great! Huge portions- we couldn't finish it but it was tasty. The homemade toast wasn't all that though. We always love the monkey bread! The coffee my mom ordered was a bit watery, unfortunately. We went to Starbucks after to get coffee. Otherwise, would definitely return, and maybe next time I'll try out the highly recommended breakfast tacos!

I will say that the food was very good ...... but couldn't get what I actually wanted. They were out of the Maryland crab dip for the truffle fries and burger I wanted. My backup was the salmon sandwich and it did not disappoint it was very good with a large portion for the price. The Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable even while training. The outside portion was dog friendly and even offered water. It was pretty peaceful and not crowded at all.

We went in for lunch and had another great experience. Food was great and quick. Sports themed atmosphere. Prices are a little high but it's worth it with the views and high quality/portion food. Server, Macy, did a nice job making sure our needs were met.

Burger was juicy & perfectly cooked but The chicken was overcooked. Daily Bread was delicious. Wish the Parmesan truffle fries were thicker like Thrasher's. Hot sauce was preservative free. Wish they had corn-syrup free ketchup.

Always so good .. their menu is fantastic offering something for everyone. The service is usually good. I love the open feels with inside and outside seating. The only drawback is you never know when it switches from breakfast to lunch so you have to call and even then it's not always a certainty.

Sorry Bad Monkey, but consistency is lacking with your Burgers. After going to the Coastal Highway location a few months ago, ordered my favorite burger, Whiskey Rebellion, and was very disappointed, and excused because I thought it was the location that was the issue. BUT, We returned last night to West OC to have that delicious burger which is pictured in my original review. Unfortunately, it's not just a different location that's the issue, it's the lack of consistency with ingredients and quality. I think you lost us as customers and personal recommendations to friends visiting town. I am giving 3 stars, should be less, but there are 2 saves for this review, the Chicken cheesesteak sub was still tasty, HOWEVER, much smaller than it was before; AND Service was top notch with Harmony as our waitress, very pleasant, offered refills without having to ask and great bubbly personality. Anyone looking to try a burger here, go elsewhere and compare my photos between last night and my original post. As far as atmosphere, there were 2 very loud individuals at 2 different areas on opposite sides of the room that made having conversations at our table very difficult because of their overly boisterous levels. Because it's an open vaulted ceiling there's little to help reducing volume levels around the room and it wasn't a busy evening in there for a Saturday night during what I'd consider peak dinner time either. Expect a loud experience.

We dined with friends who had some issues with their food, but to keep things fair, I'm scoring this strictly from my own experience. We arrived at 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. The food came out fast and had great flavor. The mussels were my favorite dish of the night. The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. The Baha Mahi‑Mahi was fresh, and my wife's Angus New York strip was cooked exactly how she likes it. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of her dish. I would personally come back, but my friends said they wouldn't, which is a bummer. With a score of 24 out of 25, I'm giving this restaurant an A.

The restaurant was mostly empty so this was a mostly locals happy hour crowd for sure. Regular customer next to me pronounced the seasoned bartender the greatest of all time. We ordered a couple of house margaritas ($6.50) which came in a pint glass and were plenty strong. Only needed one of those! First up, crab dip. It came in a massive vessel, bubbling hot and lots of bread. This dish was so large I ate the leftovers three times. Big chunks of crab in a standard rich base. I brought rice crackers, but husband liked this plain bread better than the oily garlic toast that accompanied the mussels. Mussels were a big pile, with toast, in a mild broth. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! Bartender seemed disappointed we didn't need refills on drinks, but tomorrow is another day! Thanks for the hospitality, Coins!

I usually can only tolerate Buxy's for one drink and have to leave because of the sensory overload. The sensory overload is a combination of the loud background noise, bright lights, and intense visual stimuli. (Including pics) LOL My friend and I went B4 the OC parade , and b4 the " after parade party" started with the live band , and it was relatively laid back. We shared the " corned beef Primanti " on sour dough , which was surprisingly good. The menu did say it was thick cut brisket , the more tender corned beef is the "point cut" . The meat was a bit tough and chewy so I cut it up into small pieces and it was much better. I removed the fries so the bread didn't get soggy , and kept the coleslaw and we both agreed this was a really good sandwich. I definitely want to come back again and try more of "Burgh food " items like the pierogis, Pittsburgh salad, and kielbasa but in the OFF peak hours .

We always order two for the table, but this year they were burnt and had very few toppings with almost no cilantro crema. Please see the photo for the side‑by‑side comparison. My son also looks forward to the chocolate milkshake every summer, but the machine was reportedly down for the next hour. I understand that things happen, but it added to an already disappointing food experience. Several people in our group ordered chicken sandwiches and said the chicken was extremely chewy. None of them finished their meal. Brass Balls, I truly hope this is not the new norm. With so many dining options, this is the quickest way to lose loyal customers. Our main motivation for visiting was to see Jordan and Cowan, both of whom previously worked at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. Jordan noticed us first and came over to say hello and share an update, and Cowan followed shortly after to do the same. I enjoyed two Sazeracs on the rocks for $10 each; unique to Hooked, this iconic New Orleans cocktail is a spirit-forward blend of Elijah Craig rye whiskey, aromatic bitters, a sugar cube, and an absinthe rinse, finished with a bright lemon twist. We also shared the happy hour wood-fired grilled oysters Reggiano with butter, garlic, blackening parmesan cheese, and salt for $19, though they tasted very salty. Additionally, I had the happy hour lobster roll on a toasted buttered brioche roll for $21, substituting the french fries with a side of coleslaw. It tasted quite similar to the lobster roll at Off The Hook in Bethany Beach. I finished my meal with a happy hour draft Evo Lot 3 beer for $6. Our bartender, Jon L., served us very well throughout the visit. The total bill was $128 excluding gratuity, which featured a 3% credit card surcharge of $3.57. After applying a $50 gift letter discount, the final bill was reduced down to $81. We all agreed that we will certainly return to visit Jordan and Cowan again.
