Might be my favorite coffee shop in South Bay. Bada Coffee is kinda small, but it has extra seating outside in the courtyard with a water fountain. Their drinks are very good, even their cold brew is very smooth and tasty. We had one of their pastries, sticky bun, and it was delish. They don't have a huge selection of pastries, but from what I can see, the ones they do have look super yummy. Drinks- great ambience- modern and sleek (with a robotic arm to help with some drinks) service- very attentive and helpful parking- ample spaces in a strip mall location- off PCH, easy to find Lastly, dog friendly, with dog biscuits at the counter. What more could you ask for? Definitely one of my go-to places. Great way to spend a morning, sitting in the courtyard with the sound of water in the background, enjoying a great cup of coffee with my doggy. Can't complain!
Such a cute shop! Plenty of parking, lots of seating inside, great if you're wanting to go somewhere to work. Inside is very clean and spacious. Service was patient and friendly. Made my drink SO fast. I'd get the coffee over the matcha here. My friend got the matcha, I tried a sip and it was a bit milky for my liking but I did enjoy the coffee, cream top is a much needed addition.
Of course I became a regular... Bada hits everytime. It's just every drink they have is amazing. The consistency is there. The quality is there. I alternate between their Spanish latte and their mojito lemonade. They're both sooooOOoOOoOoOOoOooOOo good. I love love love love love love love bada. Highly recommend Spanish latte for coffee and the mojito lemonade for something more bubbly, citrusy and acidic. But also VERY refreshing.
I'm a sucker for a good mocha -- I will literally drive across town for one So when I say the mocha at Bada Coffee exceeded my expectations... I mean it really exceeded them. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced -- not too sweet, not too bitter -- just chef's kiss from the first sip to the last. If you're a mocha lover like me, this spot is 100% worth the trip. I've officially added it to my "must-return" list
I have passed by this coffee shop quite a few times and finally had the chance to stop by. The parking was easy and the indoor aesthetic minimalist in a positive way. It isn't the largest coffee shop I've been to but there is outdoor seating by the fountain and a few places indoors as well. I could see how this shop could get super busy because it's located right next to a high school. I was warmly welcomed into the shop and my order was taken promptly. Upon recommendation by the barista, I ordered an iced Spanish latte and a Matcha cloud to enjoy. The Spanish Latte had a slight sweet touch and the coffee was not overpowered. The Matcha came with a crème top that complimented the matcha as well. Both drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet. Being a person who likes to frequent coffee shops, my overall experience in regard to service and ambiance are positive. It was also interesting to see a robot pull my shot instead of a person (yes, really). The quality of the drinks themselves were also good. If I lived closer, this local coffee shop would be one I'd be a regular at.
I finally made it here! I had bookmarked this coffee spot a while back and it slipped my mind. Glad I came in! Bada Coffee is in the Plaza Mayor Shopping Center, off PCH. This space used to be a Starbucks but it has nicely been transformed into a modern sleek coffee shop. I placed my order and waited for my drinks. I noticed there was a robotic arm busy working! How interesting! It's called a Wingman Cobot... this one is Tom. He pulls shots. You can watch him from start to finish. Then the barista takes the shot to assemble your coffee beverage. My lattes looked lovely with the nice latte art. I enjoyed my Spanish Latte with condensed milk, roasted hazelnut, espresso, and cinnamon! It was a tad bit sweet, so I had hubby add more coffee to it when I got home. You can get tea, matcha (also tea, I know), and lemonade here. What I find interesting is that they only make & sell one cup size of hot coffee. They sell cookies and pastries but none have a price on them. It would be nice to know even though it seems to be the norm at a lot of smaller coffee shops! There are a few seating options inside as well as the communal patio outside near the fountain. I would definitely consider a return visit! I'd like to try the bada fog or hojicha.
Small vibey coffee shop! My first time going I was pleasantly surprised because the quality of the drinks were GREAT for a decently normal price! Especially for a good FLAVORED (I got mango) matcha drink I was very happy. I was hesitant to try the mango matcha at first but it was soooooooo good I totally would recommend and will be getting it again. They have a few seats. Communal table (no outlets though), a small counter by the window next to an outlet, and lots of outdoor seating in the courtyard. Plenty of parking in the lot and a bathroom for customers. Great wifi and i got some work done on my laptop here! It was so fun and delicious! They opened up last summer and im so excited to see them grow. I hope they expand the indoor seating. Can't wait to come back :)
Good coffee, nice location. Bada Coffee replaced Starbucks that used to be at the corner. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking and next to South High School. There's seatings inside which is nice for students to study after school. I ordered iced mocha ($6). It was pretty good. They put a lot of ice in my opinion for like 12-16oz cup. They sell lots of delicious looking pastries. Was getting big lunch so I skipped trying them out. They have robotic arm that makes the espresso! I would come back again. It has modern, nice interior which is welcoming. My dentist place is in the same plaza so convenient to stop by afterwards.
Came here to grab some matcha before heading to the beach! There's lots of parking in the plaza mayor. There's plenty of seating inside and outside by the beautiful fountain. The staff was friendly and kind. They had a cool robotic arm that makes coffee or matcha? Wish I got to see that in action looked so cool! I ordered a matcha latte w oat milk, i know very basic but the heart wants what the heart wants! The matcha was so good! Perfectly umami and nutty and not too sweet :) I will be back again for sure to try their other drinks.
I visited and tried their seasonal drink, the cardamom maple latte. It was good, and I think I like the taste of their blend. However the cardamom flavor was very strong so I couldn't taste it too well I happen to enjoy strong flavors like cardamom so I thought it was tasty! Their drinks don't run too sweet. Not much seating inside but it's clean and cutely decorated. Overall I liked it and would go back again if I'm in the area!
Not bad! Its Bada...lol. I like the change from the franchisey Starbucks to this more modern café take and the mood here is more of calmness and simplicity. I enjoyed my Bada Fog drink. It was more like a dessert! Will be back to try more items.
Had the Hojicha Latte, Iced with whole milk. It was delicious! This drink came out in about a minute, no joke. Open and spacious cafe with a cool espresso machine and good drinks!
One of the top lattes I've had, and the best Maple Oat Latte I've ever had. What makes this one stand out vs other coffee shops is the consistency. It was noticeably smooth and airy - in a really good way. That's the best way I can think to describe it. It wasn't overly sweet like other maple lattes I've had too. Everything about it was just harmonious. The staff was kind and walked me through the menu as it was my first time there. Interior seemed clean and modern. When I went, all the indoor tables were full but there isn't too much seating there. I was able to sit outside on the tables there. Can't wait to try more drinks.
Found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did! Not many places have Mango Matcha, so I decided to get that here, and it was so good! The mango flavor is more prominent and the matcha is more subtle, but still a great drink and combination. It is on the sweeter side and has a creaminess to it. They also sell coffee drinks, which I heard is made by a robot, but I didn't get to see it in action. The service was quick and friendly. There's ample seating inside to do some work or hang out. I love trying new coffee shops and decided to stop by here after lunch. This Korean-inspired café is a hidden gem with an interior that is calming and stylish, with earthy tones, modern furniture, and a coastal aesthetic that totally lives up to the name "Bada" (which means "ocean" in Korean). It's the kind of place where you can meet a friend, get work done, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment with your drink. Now let's talk coffee--because they know what they're doing. I always like to ask what the most popular drink is on their menu when trying a new place, and they indicated that one of the faves was the Orange Blossom which was one of their signature drinks. It had hints of orange, maple and cream (from the house cream), which was delicious. This drink comes as iced only, which I was totally fine with (since I love ice coffees). I also wanted to try the Bada Fog, which I definitely will the next time I stop by. My daughter also had their oatmeal cookie which she loved. It was very moist and flavorful. Cool concept with a robot barista working the espresso machine! There are a few tables inside and nice fountain to sit around outside. I got their specialty Bada Fog and Orange Blossom coffee drinks and both tasted really good with a good balance of the espresso and flavor. My favorite was the Orange Blossom because it had a nice taste of citrus that balanced well with the coffee, similar to the taste of orange flavored chocolate in a way. I tried a sip of my friend's matcha cloud and thought it was too milky and creamy for my liking since the matcha was not strong. Overall really enjoyed the coffee here and would definitely recommend their specialty espresso drinks! read more

Obsessed with their Bada Fog latte, it's not too sweet and their house cream is delicious. And I love their Matcha Cloud for an afternoon pick me up. I was also pleasantly surprised by their Mango Matcha, it's yummy and refreshing. Staff is always friendly and the drinks come out quickly. read more

Maple oat hojicha was so good! Would be open to trying the orange blossom, bada fog, or matcha cloud if I'm in the area again. Unfortunately, service was just okay... our cashier was a bit snappy and not very friendly. The robot arm barista wasn't working when we went. 4-1/2 stars Decent drinks! Got a matcha cloud, which was nice and strong in matcha flavor; the cream top was a bit watery and not thick enough, but it overall did the trick. Also tried the Bada fog, which was tasty, but STRONG espresso! Pastries (cardamom bun and matcha ginger scone) were good, but nothing mind-blowing. Overall, pretty solid drinks; I'd come back to try more! read more

I've been trying new coffee spots on the way to work so I went to Bada shortly after they opened in the morning. No other customers but me and no immediate acknowledgement or greeting from the Gen Z employee. Didn't take it personally since she did the same to the customer who came in after me. Anyways, I ordered the Bada fog and a turkey and cheese croissant. Both were decent. Cool robot making the coffee. Plenty of parking in the plaza. read more
Yay I'm glad more coffee shops are popping up in the South Bay. The robot getting your espresso shot is what makes this place different. Definitely get the bada fog. I actually was thinking it would be like a London fog but it's sweetened with maple syrup and cold foam. What I liked is that it wasn't super sweet. I did get it with oat milk. The next time I did try their hojicha. I did get it sweetened and it wasn't overly sweet it was actually just right but the whole milk drowned out the hojicha taste a bit. But it was okay. I'm just being particular since I make mine at home. They do have some pastries and mostly outdoor seating which is nice during spring and summer. read more

TL;DR - Orange blossom 10/10, Bada fog 9/10, I have caffeine problems I came during their soft opening and tried their signature drink, the Bada Fog. I loved it and gave it a 10/10. It was so creamy, not too sweet, and had an overall flavor profile that was unique to any drink I've ever had. My wife took a sip at the time and really enjoyed it too. They were only open during the weekdays when they had their soft opening. Now that we are beyond that period, it's nice to know they have weekend hours too. I saw they were promoting a new drink on IG called the Orange Blossom. I went in specifically to try this. I ordered it along with the Bada Fog for my wife and I think it's even better than the Bada Fog. It's a perfect drink for anyone who likes an orange flavor to their drink--specifically it's an orange creamsicle or orange bang flavor. Since 10/10 is the max, I'm going to have to update my score to 9/10 for the Bada Fog because the orange creamsicle takes first place! I want some now...... but I shouldn't. Man.. I heard that there was a new coffee shop not too far from me and was really excited to try it! When I came in, i was greeted and the workers were really sweet. I got the matcha cloud and added oat milk (extra cost). The inside was really nice and had good seating (not pictured). The drink was good but i could taste little chunks of matcha which I don't care about but i know some people do. I would definitely come back and try their lattes! Located in a shopping plaza, there is a ton of parking. Bada is such a cute coffee shop with a beautiful interior! I definitely recommend yet it may be difficult to find space to sit with a large group. They have seating in the interior and tables outside. My favorite has to be the matcha cloud which is their speciality! My friends love their coffee and their coffee robot is truly entertaining. The service is quick and efficient! I recommend coming here with friends/loved ones to enjoy drinks that are aesthetically pleasing and delicious! read more
Bada Coffee is one of the newer speciality coffee shops in the South Bay and is a welcome addition to the Torrance community! This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a very modern and clean setup with a welcoming ambiance. They have seating both indoors and outdoors. For their menu, they have a solid selection of their classic, signature, matcha, lemonade, and tea drinks to choose from. Wifey and I got the Maple Oat Hojicha Latte with a side of their House Cream. We enjoyed the blend of roastiness and creaminess of the drink! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience grabbing a drink here. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Happened to be in the area on a Friday afternoon, so I was in search of a nearby cafe to work remotely for a couple of hours. Bada Coffee seems to be a pretty new cafe in Torrance and it's located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. We arrived around 2PM and there was only 1 other person in line. They have wifi and some indoor seating, however not all seats have back support. There are also some seats & small tables outdoors if you prefer that. I was a bit unsure on how the matcha latte would be due to some mixed reviews on Yelp, however I was pleasantly surprised. I found the latte to be decently creamy and have a solid matcha flavor. I'm a fan of sweet drinks so I asked for an additional pump of sweetener (their standard recipe has 2 pumps). The price point was quite reasonable too - $6 + $0.75 for oat milk. I feel like most matcha lattes these days run over $7, especially if you substitute for alternative milk. Overall, I really enjoyed my first experience here and would recommend if you live in the area! read more

Living in 2025 but having a robot barista? Why not! Bada coffee brought it to reality with their iconic robot barista who let the human barista bypassed the espresso-making process, which was super fun to watch. Great news was they're not only 'selling this', as the venue was cozy with a big communal table, several seats by the window, and plenty outdoor seats by the patio. If you're looking for heavy meals, you might not find it here but they did serve many options of pastries, both sweet and savory. My personal recommendation would be their Bada Fog, which was their version of cream top latte. I really fancied the idea of using maple syrup as the sweetener and even added pinch of sea salt for that delightful sweet and salty mix. Serving quality coffee did complete the experience as it's not only exciting to see but also delivering enjoyable sip. read more

Forgot to take picture of my coffee but found this spot when I was around Redondo and yelped. I usually try an iced oat latte to a new place I go to but I saw a Spanish latte and tried it. I am impressed. I've had my fav Spanish latte when I used to live in Boston and nowhere really has matched it and this place does! I'm impressed! Kudos! read more
I stopped by Bada Coffee while looking for a spot to get some work done before heading to the gym nearby. This place is pretty new and, from what I can tell, it's their only location so far. They have a nice selection of drinks--everything from espresso and lattes to matcha, lemonade, and tea. What really stood out to me was the robot arm that makes the espresso. Definitely something you don't see every day--super cool and fun to watch! I tried the strawberry matcha. It was good, but I was hoping for a bit more of that strawberry flavor to come through. As for studying, there are only a couple of wall outlets by the window where the high chairs are, so keep that in mind if you're planning to work from here. Overall, I'd come back--probably to try one of their signature lattes next time. read more

Bada Coffee is such a cute coffee shop! It has similar vibes to Nook Coffee- the pastries were similar too. There is one large table and a few bar seats, not too much room for studying but there were some people in there! There is a cute fountain area outside to hang out after you get your drinks. I ordered the Bada Fog & it was amazing! The coffee is smooth & perfectly sweetened. It was so cool how the robot helped make the drink. I would maybe stay away from the matcha unless you don't mind a more milky one. Make sure to give this place a shot! read more

Really good quality coffee! I got their iced maple oat latte and asked them to sprinkle some sea salt on top (so it's similar to the bada fog but I can't have cream because I'm dairy-free). It was ready really fast. And it was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend. read more

Did a little browsing on reviews before visiting this coffee shop because some places can be overhyped. Came especially to try their matcha, rainy weather called for a hot matcha latte. It surpassed my expectations it was so good. Creamy with perfect amount of sweetness by default. The latte art is always a plus, makes my day. Also ordered a mango matcha and a delicious apple Danish. If closer to home I'd definitely be here every day. read more

I've stopped by here twice now & I am absolutely pleased really . The service is kind, efficient and organized. I enjoyed the space inside to either stand or sit down & there is a shelf with items for sale and books as well. It's a cute touch to show community in a business. There is a little table where you pick up your drinks with straws, some sugars, stirrers. napkins fanned out in a very meticulous way. They have lots of attention to detail here. The matcha was so good even unsweetened, it was fresh and strong in flavor. The orange blossom was delectable , my mom ordered it and it took all I had not to steal hers. It was so creamy and yummy , the orange flavor with their espresso is amazing . I'll definitely be happy to return anytime I'm nearby :) read more

solid new matcha place in south torrance! i do like that they use agave as a default sweetener for the matcha latte, since a lot of spots charge for any additional sweetener. standard pricing and cute shop interior, but not too studyable unless you sit outdoors in the plaza? super great service, the cashier was very sweet and the matcha came out less than a minute after i ordered. taste-wise, i wouldn't say it's my favorite in the area since it felt a bit grassy and the matcha flavor wasn't strong and nutty like i prefer. i like yamari or nook more, but i would be interested in trying some of their flavored matchas if i were in the area again! read more

finally making it to bada coffee! made a pit stop after my chiro appt and so glad i did what a cute coffee shop bada coffee is inviting, bright and spacious space i love that there is seating outside as well totally want to come here on a wknd to chill service was good my drink was ready fairly quickly i ordered an iced maple oat latte they do charge for alt dairy .. i wanted oat, so this drink worked out the latte was pretty good not too sweet and could def taste the maple i def want to come back and try their bada fog parking: in the same shopping center as ralph's, so plenty of parking! read more
Bada, Coffee- laid back, relaxed mellow environment - soft tunes playing in background -nice.. really nice!!!! . Bada, coffee is future forward, tech driven with the robotic arm, named Tom- preparing coffee shots. A very efficient way to get the customers served and moving along. Today's order- Spanish iced latte and cheeses danish. Spanish iced latte was definitely tasty and "bueno".. the extra kick of cinnamon on top pushed the flavor meter to 11. Cheese danish was also good a bit of a surprise inside raisins and sweetened cream cheese with raisins. Not a fan of raisins but the flaky texture on the inside with a pocket of goodness on the inside was the perfect win for this pastry. This past Sunday I had the pleasure is stopping by with my dog Haru who walked in by herself and placed an order of a Croissant (huge and fluffy!) and their signature drink - Bada Fog. A delicious cold expresso drink which was perfect for a Sunday morning. Haru was mesmerized by the coffee robot at the end is the counter. I am OBSESSED. Visited this morning and ordered two drinks to share -- an iced Americano and matcha cloud. Both were fantastic. I'd recommend and order both drinks again. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The design is minimalist but very nice. I appreciate the modern aesthetic interior design. The pricing is also reasonable. No complaints here ! read more
