I've heard about this bbq palace and read some good reviews. I smoke my own meat so I typically don't go too many bbq joints or drive way out. But I happen to be down by Queen Creek area so I decided to give it a try. I expected coming here Saturday around 630 pm they would be sold out on some items. Sure enough they were out of ribs, wings, Mac and cheese, potato (?) no meat by the lbs, only brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. We decided to eat here anyways since I really wanted to try the brisket, imo brisket is one of the hardest to smoke right and of brisket is good rest of the BBQ is good. It was pretty busy but was able to get a table right away. Ordered 1/3 brisket with coleslaw and beans 2, pulled pork sandwich with feies, and brisket loaded fries. Pulled pork sandwich and loaded fries came out first. I looked at my wife's sandwich and i was like hmm that's a interesting pulled pork sandwich, looks more like brisket. Then my nephew said, I think this loaded fries have pulled pork. Well some how meat got mixed up. Got my brisket plate and I have to say, presentation was good but when I poked around and saw that it had 2 slices of brisket I was little disappointed. I mean I know cost of meat has gone up but $27 for a plate with 2 small slices of brisket, two sides and toast... I took a bite of the brisket and at least it did not taste bad. It was tender and juicer than some of the other places for sure. But more I bit into it I realized I got the end of the night left over end cut with lots of fats. I like some fats on my bbq but this was not melt in your mouth clog your artery fat, it was sat around all day semi old not so melt in your mouth fat. I wasn't too angry about that knowing I came end of the day. Coleslaw was not to my liking, it wasn't bad but didn't care for the extra sourness. Now beans that was very intriguing. Took a spoonful and I was greated with beans, I think cabbage for extra crunch, some ground beef and some other stuff I couldn't quite figure out. I did like it and I thought it was tasty. If you want straight bean kind of person this ain't it. Then came to my second most important part of bbq for me, bbq sauce. You can have crappy bbq but if the sauce is good you can drench your meat and still eat it.. . BBQ sauce was pretty good but what in the heck is this little tiny tiny sauce cup bbq came in. And one... Just one... Like them small ranch dressing cup. No extra BBQ laying around for me to add if I want more, I have to ask for more bbq.. WTH. Now pulled pork sandwich was pretty good and loaded fries weren't bad. The wait staff did come and apologize for the mix up with the meat and said if we were OK with the food and since they are short on meat just keep it as is.... ( ). They did bring us pulled pork sandwich before we left which was nice of them. This was little harder for me to rate, because it was really 3 and half for me but not quite 4 so I went with 3, due to the mix up on the food and the dang cost of brisket plate. My wife did mention that she thinks her brisket sandwich had just as much of the meat as my dish for lot less and one less side dish. This place seems hopping for the locals and I'm glad it stays busy but it just was not for me and I won't be coming back. I did wish they had little selection of meat but it is what it is. I woke up early this morning and worked on my honey do list. Tore the garden up and got it ready for planting the winter veggies. Cleaned a few of the storage racks in the garage up and made space and organized it a bit. It was nearly 2 pm when I started getting tired so I stopped and went to take a shower. Once I showered and finally took a seat on my couch to rest, my mother-in-law arrived with some Queen Creek BBQ. I'm about as picky about BBQ as I am about pizza (pizza first though). Let's get into the results even before I talk about the food. AMAZING!!! Everyone in my house could not stop raving about it. The cook, the flavor, look of it all was just delicious. We had pulled pork, even shredded you could see a little of the bark in there. It was absolutely tender and straight BBQ flavors melted in your mouth. I could eat this any day of the week. The brisket was absolutely perfect. And that is coming from a guy who makes pretty amazing brisket himself. The bark looked like something out of the food network. It retained its moisture even through the 15-20 min drive it took to get to my house. It might have been the most tender brisket I have ever eaten. I didn't have any of the sides due to my current dietary restrictions, but everyone else loved them. My daughter could not stop eating the Mac and cheese. My son and wife loved the Cole slaw. Redemption! After a hit-or-miss first visit, tonight's experience was a complete 180. The restaurant was buzzing at 6:30 PM, but the service remained top-notch. Both the brisket sandwich and the pizzas were delicious and well-prepared. My only suggestion would be adding some greenery to the menu--a few salad options would really round things out. FIRST ...PLEASE support small businesses!!! For the longest time, I kept telling the owners that I would stop by and come eat especially since I remember them serving us years ago at my job. Watching them grow from a food truck to their own brick-and-mortar spot has been amazing! Even though it's far, far, far out of my way, I decided to surprise them and chase down those Bama beans I used to be addicted to... and let me tell you... they did NOT disappoint. I ordered the ribs, potato salad, and of course, my favorite... the beans. First of all, the ribs were falling off the bone and boyyyy were they delicious. The beans? Still absolutely amazing. And the potato salad? So good. Everything was on point. This place is honestly worth the drive. There's plenty of parking, and it's located in such a cute part of town. I definitely recommend stopping by, whether it's with your Valentine, your friends, or even solo. It's a no-judgment zone with fantastic food! I ate so much that I put myself into a full-on sleep coma... so with that being said senior nap time. We have been seeing some instagram Reels about those place, so we decided to give it a try. We went on a Friday at about 4pm with some friends. When we walked into, the place was packed. We were quickly greeted by the hostess. After a short wait, we were seated. I was in amazement on how many people were i side at 4 o'clock. The waitress came over and took our drink order right away. The menu had a lot of choices. I decided to try the Brisket burger. My wife got the Rib combo. We also ordered the wings as an appetizer. Our friends split the Brisket dinner. The Wings are the BOMB!! A hint of smoke, a little heat and cooked to perfection! If you like wings, this is your place. When the food was delivered, it looked amazing. The Brisket burger, OMG!! This was the best burger that i have had in Arizona. The fries were seasoned nice. My wife said the baby back ribs were very good. She had Mac n cheese and bama beans as sides. Stopped in bc I've been seeing tik toks from the business a lot. We walked in at 11:32 (they open at 11:30) and there was one couple at the bar and one table occupied. By 11:45 there wasn't an open seat in the place so we figured they must be doing something right. They weren't. They were doing ALL THE THINGS RIGHT. We tried the Gouda bites as an app and had a loaded potato with chicken and loaded fries with brisket. When a business makes a mistake, the right move is to take accountability. Instead, management posted on Facebook asking the public for help finding patrons who dined and dashed--all while forcing their own waitress to cover the bill out of her/his own pocket. Penalizing your workers for the illegal acts of customers is unacceptable. When community members brought this up, management deleted the original post, erased questions from concerned customers, and started ignoring/blocking anyone asking for an update. Silence and censorship speak louder than an apology ever could. If you have to spend your day deleting comments to hide how you run your establishment, you already know what you did was wrong. Pay your staff fairly, reimburse your waitress, and own up to your actions. Will never come here again, EVER! read more

Today was my first time here as I met with three colleagues for lunch. One of them is from S Korea and it was his first time trying American style BBQ so I was excited for him to dig in. Queen Creek BBQ didn't disappoint in any way! Hooweee I had "broke da mouth" pork ribs with beans n cole slaw and it was all onolicious! The ribs were so tasty they didn't need any bbq sauce on them (Just like the menu says!) and the meat just fell off the bone! The beans were just as tasty. So smokey, salty n sweet that I gobbled them up pretty quickly. The coleslaw was refreshing and went well with the ribs n beans. Our waitress was very attentive and kept us happy. She even jumped with excitement when we asked if she could take a picture of us. I wish I got her name but you know who you are! I'll get it next time! Even the Captain of the BBQ smoker (l think he was the owner.) came out to ask how we liked it, which was nice. It's a small place but very cozy and has that small town bbq feel which I loved. We decided to try this place out for dinner tonight. We got there around 545 on a Friday and it was busy. We got almost the last seats at the bar since all the table were full and people were already waiting. The bartender was quick to greet us and take our order. The food took a little time to come out but that's to be expected in a busy place. We tried the brisket plate with mac and cheese and coleslaw as sides, and a Mac bowl with brisket. The brisket was tender and juicy, the coleslaw and Mac and cheese were really good too. I usually like a spicy bbq sauce but they only have one sauce (it was good though). Food was great, service was great and we had a great early dinner here. Decided on this place on our way to the Mesa Airport - so glad we picked it. Totally casual joint with great options even if you don't eat all of the various bbq meats. We got a pizza (for the one person at the table that doesn't eat meat), which was really good - even the meat eaters enjoyed it. And then several meats by the pound: brisket, chicken and pork plus fries and rings. They initially thought the way over ordered but everything was gone - the sign of great food. Our family stopped by yesterday before heading to the library next door for some lunch. It's our first time and I'm writing this because my inner caveman has never been so satisfied. We have not found a decent place for BBQ since Homer's left. I hate when people praise the BBQ chains like Rudy's or Dickeys (esp. this place ) or you have small establishments who try; you can identify excellent BBQ by ribs and brisket. I need to preface that I'm not a big meat-eater and used to be vegetarian for seven years prior to marriage. My weakness is turkey, wings and RIBS! I have very high standards on these proteins. OMG, save the animals!! The ribs were absolute perfection! They held but also fell off the bone, smokey but moist and no sauce was needed. The locked in rub was perfect. They really did a great job prepping and cooking, and you can tell both those steps were meticulous. I got a half rack only which was $18 and that's all you need. No reason to add other stuff (I did steal a couple fries from the kids if I have to be honest). My son is a lot like me, not a big meat eater, and he ate an entire rib. This right here is testament to quality. Take it from a three-year-old! Honestly, a half rack and an IPA is all a girl needs to satisfy that lil caveman! The place is small so she up early and not around definitely not around lunch or dinner times. Next don't expect fast service, go to eat but expect a LONG wait the waiting staff was great but as you are waiting like I did you see those smiles fade as they walk away from tables. They have no timing, no execution and just can't keep up let alone can they provide you a whole menu at any given time. I realize BBQ can be limited but don't be greedy and make sure the staff knows what is gone and what isn't. The barbecue in Arizona has not thrilled me. There is one location in Apache Junction that has amazing brisket and so I thought I would give this location a try to see how they compare. The brisket had an amazing smoked flavor. Extremely tender. The barbecue sauce was more of the sweet version, and I prefer the vinegar version, however, that did not take away from the amazing flavor of the smoked brisket! I would definitely come here and get this again! I also had the baked beans which were phenomenal, with a little kick, and the macaroni and cheese, also very good. For sides we tried the fries, good, basic fries, seasoned well but nothing special. The potato salad, Southern mustard dressing very good! The Bama beans, a must try, just like my Grandma's sweet, tangy full of flavor and they add bits of meat too, brisket I assume. Really good! I stopped in and tried this new BBQ joint recently. I ordered a pound and a half of brisket, a half slab of ribs, an order of fries, an order of mac n' cheese and some of the beans. I got a Powerade to drink. Somehow this added up to $96!!! For $96 I was expecting larger portions for the sides. They were tiny. The mac n' cheese was really good. Unfortunately, the BBQ sauce here is really sweet and it's in the beans, so it ruined the beans for me. And I'm from the Midwest originally where they use molasses and brown sugar to make BBQ sauce. This sauce was sweeter than what I'm used to. The brisket was good. I would say #2 out of all the BBQ places in the East Valley. The ribs were the star of the show for me. Some of the best ribs I've ever had! Best I've had anywhere in AZ! The staff was awesome and the inside was decorated nicely.
