What a fantastic first visit to Curry Lounge! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The…read morerestaurant was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made for a wonderful dining experience. Our waitress, Pawan, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her excellent service made our first visit even more enjoyable. The food was incredible! I ordered the Chicken Korma, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, with tender chicken in every bite. The meal came with fluffy basmati rice, warm fresh naan, flavorful chickpeas, yogurt, and pickled onions that complemented everything perfectly. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine with outstanding service, Curry Lounge is definitely worth a visit. We will absolutely be back and can't wait to try more of the menu. Thank you, Pawan, for making our first experience so memorable!

I had a huge craving for some Indian food as I hadn't had any in a while. This was long overdue !…read moreMy takeout order included chicken tikka masala, which was so yummy (I do prefer a more tomato-y flavor base but it was still seasoned so well) ! However, I don't think the entree should be almost $30 and rice isn't even included. I also ordered cheese naan on the side which wasn't the softest, fluffiest naan I've ever had but it still did the job. (: The staff was friendly and welcoming & the restaurant looked clean & had pretty decor. Overall, my food was tasty, my craving was satisfied & I would order from here again, maybe even try the butter chicken next time.

Update as of August 16th, 2026…read more We haven't been there in a few months, so we decided to take my mom. We were welcomed by new staff there. Let me tell you, the staff before was fine, but this staff now is excellent. We had the opportunity to meet Aditya, who was our server, and he was incredible, along with this young lady, who is probably one of the sweetest waitresses we've met. They had a few other people working that were very friendly, and going to the restaurant is even more enjoyable. Food is always going to be good there, and they are very consistent. India Restaurant is our go to restaurant in Artesia Service is fast Food is very tasty Chicken Tikka is my favorite out of all Indian restaurants I have been to Keema samosas very good Bindi, Naan, Tandoori chicken is all good We have never had a bad meal in the last 20 years we have been going Don't do the buffet

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great food in a pleasant atmosphere…read more The hubby and I came to meet up with another couple for a weekend lunch. When we got there at 11:30 it was quite empty, but by the time we left it was nearly full--a popular spot, and we could see why. We were rather pleasantly surprised at how upscale it looked in here--all cloth napkins, white tablecloths, and a recently renovated-looking interior with lots of dark wood. There were lots of options on their lunch special menu, which they even have on the weekends, and even more on their regular menu. I had the paneer tikka masala lunch special and the hubby had the saag paneer lunch special. All the lunch specials come with rice, salad greens, lentil soup, naan, a mini samosa (on attractive metal serving ware), along with self serve coffee and chai. At $16.95 as of this writing, we thought it was a great deal. The hubby and I shared our food and thought it was very good overall. I thought the saag was a touch too salty but it didn't mean I hated it. They do serve alcohol here, although we didn't imbibe on our visit. As for parking, they have a small front parking lot and a larger back lot (which we weren't aware of until our friends told us). If you want good Indian food with very attentive service in a slightly upscale setting, this is a good choice.

I probably will not be returning, but it wasn't bad. I think non-south Asians would really like it. Edit: I was going to delete my review, but I got a private message from the owner with a ton of attitude, asking me to take this down, but I don't feel like that's ethical. I don't think three stars is bad. So just to restate. The food is not bad. But I'm not going to take this review down because I don't feel like it's appropriate for the owner to message you privately with an attitude and try to strong-arm you into taking down the review. I have left plenty of reviews about restaurants in Little India, and not once as anybody messaged me with the tone that you have used with me. So I'm leaving it up. Live and learn. Edit: I got a notification that the owner continued to add to her comment, so to answer her questions, I don't remember what I got because it was several months ago, but I remember that it was just okay. It wasn't bad but your approach to dealing with your customers is. I don't think that Yelp has the option of messaging people so you can come at them with a shitty attitude and strong-arm them into trying to change their review. You're honestly just making yourself look worse.

This was one of the few dishes that did not contain dairy. Relative to the roti it was served with, the portion could have been bigger by filling the bowl more. The flavors were good with the smokiness of the eggplant and the warmth of the spices. - bajra roti (2/10): this was not very pleasant to eat. It was much thicker than i was expecting which made it hard to tear into small pieces and chew. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe, though there are other nearby places that I have enjoyed more.

Ambiance was basic. We opted for the Bhookhe special curry (fox nut), the Sartaj (thali), gatte curry (gram flour), and falouda kulfi. Flavors of the dishes were nice, however the fox nut curry was overly sweet and the various thali dishes were a bit bland. Our favorite was the gatte curry and their naan. Dessert was solid.
