My family normally gets the shrimp by the pound and it definitely hits the spot! I love the atomic sauce at dynamite X, but the spicy level can be rather inconsistent so sometimes it's so spicy I can't enjoy it or other times I barely taste the kick. I really enjoy their garlic noodles! They're the perfect side. I normally love cajun fries, but theirs aren't very good. Their cajun fries lack adequate amount of seasoning for me to consider them cajun fries. They do not check and clean their seafood. The mussels had plant life attached to the shells and throughout the meat. More than half of the crawfish in my order were completely black and spoiled on the inside. I was hyping myself up to speak to a manager (because I hate making things hard for the staff) but before I could, another customer came back to the store with their entire to-go order wanting a refund because the food was completely inedible and they denied him. His options were to order something else or receive a gift card. I wasn't going to order more spoiled seafood so I paid my $80 check and left. Would never ever come back here. This place was super gross. My family and I placed a large order from here on Christmas Eve and everyone's food was nasty. My shrimp order was sooo filled with oil and completely flavorless. It was so bad that I drive back to return it. The manager told me he "couldn't offer me a partial refund" so I had to pick something else of get a credit. I asked every single member of my family how their food was and they ALL said they could not even finish because it was so nasty. i have been going to bag o crab since it first opened since 2020, i never ever had an issue with the former manager derek. i never had a problem until yesterday, i went to to pick up my usual order of C3 dungeness with cajun seasoning and medium spicy. I went to get my order fixed, they never made it fresh, they only cleaned it and added more sauce. I knew it was not the correct order because i always get the same order. I called them to let them know that the food still had garlic And they said that they would return my money. I went in the next day and the manager was insisted he replaced the food and argued that it was remade. i said no it was not because i found big pieces of garlic When i took it home the second time. the manager was rude and told me not to return. I wasn't even mean about this return i was just upset at the customer service. Like i said i never had issues with derek. when i went to the fairfield location the manager there told me that cajun seasoning did not contain garlic. i will contact corporate, guy needs customer service training read more

The crab and shrimp combo is amazing! It comes with potatoes, corn and sausage. Add hard boiled eggs to the atomic sauce, fire!! The garlic noodles are also delicious. We were pretty satisfied. The pinky draw back is that since it was a larger order we had to pay 1st before our food was ordered. Honestly one of the best seafood places I have been to. You walk in to some really comforting and amazing music, whoever is the DJ there at Bag O Crab knows what is up! As new customers the server completely walked us through the whole process of ordering the bag of seafood, even advising us on the best options for our specific needs. The robot is so adorable, it runs around the whole store delivering food! Super cool. I had ordered some hot wings and a side of fries, the appetizers was pretty good, nothing too fancy or astounding, overall pretty good! When the seafood boil came out we were astounded at how fast it did! Even coming out before some of the appetizers! Our server Sue had suggested to us getting the Snow Crab Leg combo, the C2, it included shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. It was awesome, paired with the suggested atomic sauce, we spent the rest of the session in silence as we dug our way into the bag and ate every last piece! The service is definitely one of the greatest things about this establishment, as we noticed no matter what all the workers would cater to each and every customers needs. Pros: - Not a busy place - Shrimp size - Tasty when you can mix the bag well Cons: - I didn't feel to comfortable getting my order taken because the employees seemed like they weren't happy to be there and the interaction was very awkward. - Shrimp is not "market rate". $15/pound. - Very oily which reduced the overall flavor. Bag o crab is one of the newer restaurants in vallejo and it's great to see we are improving the community. However it's unfortunate how horrible the service is here. I have been on multiple occasions and the service is always horrible especially at the front desk. This is not somewhere I will ever recommend. It is too expensive to be treated badly. It's a shame because the food is good on most days. The ambiance is not not nice with the staff being so incredibly, unfriendly. I hope they are able to improve from how far they have fallen. The front desk did not even greet me or stop their conversation they were having amongst themselves to seat me. If I could give this place 0 stars I would but I was forced to give them at least 1. When arriving home I immediately went for the chicken wings. When I bit into it the meat and bone on the inside was completely red. Not pink, but red, completely raw. I provided a picture so you guys can see what I am talking about. By the way, I ate the sandwiches when I got home. The Fish Po-boy was much better than the Shrimp sandwich in my opinion. I've gotten (several times now) the Cajun shrimp bag with the sausage. I've don't mind and medium spice. I noticed that the spice is in the sausage... and we love it! The shrimps were good, and if you like spice I highly recommend this place! My husband has got the lobster roll and crab po boy and says they are "ehh".. not so bad and not the best. They are pricey and he complained he got a roll full of chunky celery rather than lobster (they have celery in their spread). $20 for a lobster roll seems like a lot when the sandwich doesn't have much innit.
