This place used to be amazing. I used to get breakfast from here every single day. Now, never again. For the past two weeks, I've been ordering breakfast to my office. Every single time, it's wrong. Honestly, how hard is it to make a grilled cheese with ham and tomatoes on white toast. They have made it before so I know it's not a very difficult task. Now instead of a grilled cheese, they bring me a ham sandwich, with one piece of cheese melted in between the ham with one tomato on soggy white bread that hasn't even been toasted. I like ranch and hot sauce on the side for my sandwich and guess what, it's a gamble if I'll receive it. But they definitely will not forget to charge me for it. Let's move on to customer service. The girl who answers the phone between 9am-10am for deliveries, please stop being so rude. I understand that an uneducated girl like yourself taking food orders is tough at 9am but doesn't mean you have to ruin other people's day. When I called back to tell her that my order is wrong, or at least that I'm unsatisfied, she'll hang up. Now on to the sandwich makers, specifically a woman named Cathy, oh god! If you order over the phone or in person, she will mess up your order. If you would as for a bagel with butter toasted, she won't toast it and probably even add bologna just because that is what she decides to do with your food. Then there's Louie or Lui how ever you spell his name, he is the manager or owner. This man, can care less if your food is spoiled, which I have gotten (spoiled macaroni salad) he can care less if your order is wrong. If you just mention it without pushing it or really calling his attention, he'll completely ignore you as you are talking to him. I feel pretty bad writing this review considering that I do love this place but honestly guys, either get your shit together or start losing customers because I know my office orders a minimum of $100 a day just for breakfast and today has been the last day that will happen. read more

Okay Guys for starters the Bagel are great .. And pretty much thats all the nice things i have to say! My boss likes eating at this place .. He pays the meals and i deal .. Anyways i always order the same thing 1.Hero 1.Bagel or Hero 1. Order of Fries [depending on my mood] First they have me on hold for 5 to 10 mins ?!?! Why care to explain ... i Guess not . Then when i get a order taken its like i am being RUSHED which always leads to them Burning my food delivering my food cold or missing an item[s] Oh and i hate when they ask me if i want the item Credited toward my next order? .... Um no i want ya to bring the missing item[s] to me so i can EAT it. Sometimes i dont get the drinks at all ... No Pepsi No Grape Juice No Coco or Coffee ! Whats wrong with that Picture !?!?! Bagel Boy is a neighborhood staple and a huge hit in our family, almost every weekend. Yes, the places does get busy but it's because their stuff is literally the best there is in Brooklyn. But, they never messed up our order, although sometimes you do have to repeat things for them a few times, especially when you are like getting 4 diff things plus 4 diff drinks. The food is worth the wait for sure. The bagels are crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, they plop generous portions of cream cheese, the flavored cream cheeses are super good. My only regret is that I cannot eat here every day because as another Yelper said, my butt would also start to resemble a bagel. read more

So first thing first, VERY expensive. Ordered an omelet and they did not even give me toast. I usually get home fries with an omelet order everywhere else...not these guys. Like I said before, did not even give me toast. On top of everything, delivery took forever and I ended up eating cold eggs, no toast, no home fries...and I paid almost 40% more for this??? When I asked the delivery guy why it took so long he tells me that they are busy and "what can he do?". Here is something that the owners can do....HIRE MORE DELIVERY GUYS. Not a fan at all. I used to like this place better a few years ago. Nevertheless, out of the hundreds of bagel shops in Brooklyn, this one is still up there for me. Lots of variety in bagels and spreads. They also have sandwiches, soups, salads and of course coffee which is yummy. Always a long line, whether you come earlier or later but it moves fairly fast. There is a sit down area which you have to get lucky to grab, other than that there is not much room otherwise, so grab your bagel to go. This is my bagel spot, mornings and afternoons end sometimes after 5. Their bagels are always fresh and taste so good. Everything is the one for me. Their prices are decent and have a lot of staff members. Lines are sometimes very long but we'll worth it. I travel just to come to the place. Overall service and their cream cheese with scallion is a plus. We also get salmon sometimes and it's fresh. You can see the colors are orange and almost light red. Place is amazing. This place is ok, gets way too crowded in the morning, and the bagels aren't reay that tasteful. I usually like to get the baked salmon spread but they pack way too much spread in my bagel, making it soggy and gross by the time I open it. They put so much spread that it ends up overflowing with each bite, ruining the bagel. Would recommend if you're in a hurry and need a quick bagel, but if you have the option to grab breakfast somewhere else, just go there. read more

Can confidently say they have the best bagels I have had in my life so far living in the NYC area. Great food, always fresh ingredients. A couple of my online orders were messed up one month, but the owner Ben went out of his way to make it right. Showed he really cares about the customer and he definitely made it right for me and earned my respect. I've always loved going to Bagel Boy. The atmosphere is awesome and the employees are just as awesome. There's usually a little wait if you get there early or mid afternoon, But the food is well worth the wait! I've been back a million times. The food is great. I get my all time favorite every time. A staple in sheepshead bay for years, this is one the better bagel stores in the area. They totally renovated and moved their location to ave Z a few years back and it seems that the service, food has improved greatly with the bigger space. A must try is the cheesecake chocolate muffin. Gets me every time! read more

Best shop in town for bagles. I have been coming here for the past few years. There is always a huge line, but the wait time is never than 3 minutes. These guys have an army of workers behind the counter that take and prepair your order in less than it would take for me to toast my own bread. read more

Lox- their lox is very very good. Great texture, flavor, visual appeal and at a good price. Bagels are fresh and delicious. They even have coupons on their website you need to print and bring in. Been going here for a decade who knew I'll be using those coupons in the future. read more
