I always see this bagel place as I pass by and decided to give it a shot for breakfast today. It has such a cute theme and the staff were very nice and helpful. I got a build your own and the salmon lox and it was very tasty! Would definitely come again

Bagel Exchange is in the Main Street area of Alhambra. There's parking spaces in the back of the block. The concept of the place is very interesting. They serve bagels with a focus on the trade exchange. The TV screens and decors are related to that of trading, stocks, and news about the market. The service is great! They were quick and knew how to explain the bagel recommendations well. I got the colorful bagel with smoke salmon + cream cheese (the lox style) and it was delicious! Totally worth the cost because it came with a lot of smoked salmon. I'd love to come back here again in the future!

My go-to bagel place in SGV! Love the lox and stock and overall, the bagels are great for their value! Service is great and quick and parking is easy on the street. I parked in the parking lot behind the restaurant between 1st and 2nd. Plenty of space and outlets to work inside if you so choose.

I was happy to discover this bagel shop! I saw them on Too Good to Go actually, where I was finally able to reserve a bag. Maybe they ran out of leftover bagels because the guy working there gave me a bag of 6 fresh bagels that he just picked out from the case! We also ordered two bagel sandwiches: Stocks N Lox on Spinach Parmesan Egg, Cheese and Sausage on Pesto Both sandwiches had good flavor and the right amount of toasting and we really enjoyed them. The outside of the shop is pretty nondescript. We missed it the first time we walked by. Inside was more interesting with the stocks and news screens and club music playing lol.

Bagel Exchange is a cool dance club masquerading as a bagel shop. Techno music when I went, small discrete front door, dark club vibes, two hipsters working the place, TV screen tuned to the stock exchange to keep you abreast of your investments, clocks on the wall giving you jet setters the time of the day in your home town...JK... Bagel Exchange is a definite go-to for big, chewy, tasty bagels. I like my bagels encrusted with goop...sesame seeds, fried garlic, fried onion, Parmesan, chia seeds,.. all kinds of shi..take. No cuss... they have encrusted and they have plain ones for those that have gastroenteritis that shouldn't have all those little seedy things. All good, I like both types of bagels but the chewy base always gets me. BE is also on TGTG for those that like a surprise deal. 6 bagels that they choose. A bargain if you're in the area. Street parking only...I'll go there clubbing next time, but alas, I'll just be standing alone at the door in the middle of the night wondering why is it closed and where's the bouncer?

I enjoy a good freshly baked bagel in the morning or lunch with fresh deli or smoke lox company with cream cheese or mixed with fruit or vegetable and herbs. I decided to try the Bagel Exchange in Alhambra because I like try different kind of bagels even I try the newly open Einstein Bros Bagels in Monterey Park they very good and I enjoyed very much. I like to try different Bagels bakery who have the best bagel. The definition of a bagel is chewy, soft and cr crust can be soft or lightly crunch. The Bagels Exchange is on Main St when I step into the place it have nice vibe to it a relaxing they very nice display showing the variety kind of bagels they have on site. They serve all kind coffee drinks, and other drinks they make on site. The biggest surprise is they have a 65 or 70 inch flat-screen TV that's is really cool. Overall I enjoy the peace and the quite that keep my mind in peace.

I stopped by this morning right when they opened and ordered a Build Your Own Bagel with lox and bacon. It wasn't too busy yet, and the inside has a pretty interesting concept and setup. Since it was early, the staff seemed a little tired, but they were still nice overall. The only exception was the man in the back who was dull, who I'm assuming was the owner or manager. I used to spend my summers in New York, so I'll admit I had high standards, especially since I've seen this place compared to NYC bagels. For the price, though, I personally didn't think it lived up to that comparison. There was very little lox compared to other spots I've tried in LA and New York at a similar price point. The bacon was also pretty salty, though they were generous with the cream cheese, which some people might really like. Overall, it was fine, but for the cost, I don't think I'd personally come back.

If you are a fan of bagels, then give this place a try. I think there are at least 25 bagel flavors to choose from. So many! I liked the Spinach Asiago Cheese Bagel. It had the perfect texture. Inside the bagel was chewy and dense, while outside was slightly crisp and toasted. You can either choose a bagel from the menu or build your own. The Exchange includes ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese. This is probably the best savory bagel you can get here. This is a great place to grab a quick bite or some coffee. There are a few tables for dining in.

I am still dreaming about my bagel this morning. We had the Stocks n Lox and the avocado BLT bagel. So yummy. For drinks we had the matcha and cinnamon bun lattes.

I came into bagel exchange and ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on a poppy bagel & it was a 10/10. My only note is that I wish the bagel was a little more toasted. Overall, would recommend bagel exchange for bagels, especially the poppy seed bagels!

Met up with a friend here on a Sunday morning and was very pleasantly surprised to find ample seating! I ordered a blue Thai tea with almond milk, and my friend ordered a coconut latte with oak milk. The first thought that passed through my head after the first sip was, "wow, not too sweet!" I was thoroughly impressed as I hadn't specified a level of sweetness. I didn't order a bagel this time, but I will the next time I stop in. They all looked yummy.

The bagel comes with cream cheese, salmon, dill, capers, tomato, onion, lemon and olive oil and black pepper. The combination of flavors is ridiculous. Every single ingredient is fresh and high quality. All of the ingredients add something to the bagel and make it a perfect bagel imo. I think this place must fly their tomatoes in straight from Eden, as in the garden. I have never had a fresher, great tasting and beautiful tomato as I did here. I know that's wild to say about something like a tomato but it's the truth. I don't even eat tomatoes in that form, it was the first bite of a sliced tomato I ate in over 20 years. It looked so great I had to try it, especially because I wanted to eat the bagel in its most genuine form. My Wife loves bagels, it is one of her favorite foods. It was her favorite bagel as well. We ended up going here twice. We went on our last day of vacation prior to heading to the airport. I got a plain bagel with butter and honey, WhatKevEats inspired the order. It was also delicious however, not as good as the smoked salmon.

My favorite out of all of them are the sesame bagels, but the burnt ones are pretty good too. I've had a sandwich here and while they are really really good, I personally feel it's better to just buy the bagel plain and the ingredients (or custom ingredients) and just make them yourself. It's not really that hard. I did that this time. I bought a bunch of bagels, then turned them into breakfast sandwiches. One thing that's random though is every time I'm craving a bagel, it just happens to be on the day they're closed haha. Then I have to remember that I wanted a bagel for the rest of the week and then go. But this time I did!!! I'm so glad I remembered because I absolutely love these bagels. The service here is really good. The ambiance is chill if you sit on the patio. It's nice. I don't usually turn my gps on when I come here though so sometimes I accidentally drive right by it because I miss the yellow umbrella. For some reason I can't remember exactly what street it's on but there's always a bunch of street parking so it's a nice place to go to. I should come here a lot more.

SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

They're completely different and both worth trying: one is spicy and smoky, while the other is brighter and more cilantro-forward. Having both really makes the burrito for me. I keep my burrito pretty basic since I don't like meat in my burrito. I usually get egg, cheese, avocado, and tater tots, and it's SO good. I did try adding the refried beans once, and the first time they were delicious. Unfortunately, the second time they tasted a little off, so now I just stick with my usual order without the beans. And let's talk about the iced coffee! This is probably one of my favorite things here. I work in the area and parking in Pasadena can be a nightmare, so I usually walk about 15 minutes from work. By the time I get here, especially on a hot day, I'm completely overheated and that iced coffee hits the spot every single time. Definitely recommend getting one! The service has also been consistently great. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and friendly, and the whole operation is really efficient. I also love their app. If it's your first time and you download the app, you get $10 off, which I thought was a great incentive. You also earn rewards with your purchases that you can use toward future orders, and I really appreciate that. Those little perks go a long way! My only complaints are the prices for add-ons. I think $2.50 just to add refried beans is a little steep, especially when you're already purchasing a burrito. Bacon being $4 is also on the pricey side. I don't mind paying typical Pasadena prices, but I do think some of the add-on costs could be more reasonable. Overall, though, I really enjoy Wake and Late and it has quickly become my go-to breakfast/lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Great burritos, AMAZING iced coffee, friendly employees, and a really efficient operation. Their packaging/logo is very nice also. I definitely recommend checking them out and get the iced coffee!
