Before our road trip we stopped in for bagels. Quick and great breakfast for the road. We had the sesame bagels with cream cheese.

Fantastic bagels! Just like from NYC. Especially like to jalapeño cream cheese. Definitely thumbs up.

Don't be fooled by the ordinary red "Bagels" sign. What this place lacks in flair on the outside makes up for with amazing, authentic NY bagels. Not a huge selection of bagels or cream cheeses to choose from but it honestly doesn't need it. Every bagel I've tried has been out of this World, perfectly chewy! Omg. Yus. Yus. Yus! I didn't even know I was a bagel guy until I went here. The selection is perfect. They have such a variety from sweet, to savory, to spicy. I've been there twice this weekend to get their egg and cheese on jalapeño cayenne bagel. The customer service is excellent. They are very quick with your order. You can order ahead and pick them up as well. I would love to see this place partner up with doughnuts and dragons ASAP and offer their bagels for sale. I went on a Sunday morning around 10 am. It was pretty busy but the line moved quick as all of the workers were busy trying to help customers. I tried an egg and cheese on a salt bagel and a plain sesame bagel. They were both very delicious and perfectly toasted! A couple of tips: -- have them slice the bagels for you in the store -- bring cash, because they don't take credit/debit cards -- prepare to have your mind blown by the deliciousness. Two words: Salt Bagel. The ONLY place in Indianapolis that sells salt bagels is Bagel Fair. When my family would take trips from Terre Haute to Indy, we would always stop here and get bagels. Not only are they the best fresh baked bagels in town, they had salt bagels, BIG kosher salt flakes that any salt-lover would fall on their knees for. I'll go so far out of my way to stop by their place in Nora, but you have to get there early as they close early and the bagels go fast. Hands down, best bagel place ever. I was a little disappointed when they told me they had a lox spread not the lox with all the fixings. I decided to try the lox spread on their garlic bagel. Disappointed again when they say they don't toast their bagels. They offered to warm it up. Smelled absolutely amazing took a bite and wow. Delicious the bagel is so soft you can tell it's fresh and that spread is so good I could eat it alone. I can't wait to go back. read more

Really, really tasty bagels! This was my first experience there, and I'll go back if I'm in the area. I stopped by because I saw the "BAGELS" sign, and that is a very, very accurate sign. They only have bagels, and that's fine. Really simple layout and no tables to sit at. I wasn't aware that they don't toast their bagels, and I was somewhat disappointed. But it makes sense, because these bagels are really meant to be taken home (and toasted there, if you'd like to). The brown sugar cinnamon spread is absolutely delicious. read more

My wife and I stop and get a bagel for breakfast every time we travel to other states and I can tell you now, that there is no better bagels they we have tasted then the delicious, decadent, savory wheels of goodness (bagels) then back home at Bagel Fair. Why I like it: -The Service: You generally spend about 2-3 minutes from when you get into line until when you walk out the door with your bagel or bag o' bagels -The Portion: If you get a bagel with cream cheese on it, they are not being cheap when loading you up with what is generally used for two bagels. The BEST bagel shop in Indy. Hidden in Nora plaza by the Nora target- this is my go to place. If you get there early enough, the bagels are still warm from being freshly baked. My favorite? Salt bagel, with cream cheese warmed up. Must try!!!! read more

Finally had to check out this place after hearing about all the hype that surrounded the simple shop on the corner with a song that simply reads "Bagels". Don't let looks deceive you, however, because these bagels (and their cream cheese) were simply the best. I went a savory route with the Baily bagel with veggie cream cheese while my husband opted for the sweeter route with an apple cinnamon bagel with cinnamon sugar cream cheese. I'm almost regretting that we didn't get some to have at home, but I guess that just means that another visit is on the horizon soon! read more
