I ordered online and it was ready right when I arrived. I thought the bagel just looked ok at first glance, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good! Had the nice crisp outside and fluffy inside. There was a tad too much salt on it, but I prefer too much to too little because I can just scrape a little off. Every month, I treat myself to half a dozen bagels and a tub of fresh cream cheese.... in the past, the tubs have always been missing at least 10% or more and it's been frustrating but today more than 30% of the tub is empty when I took it out of the box. I don't understand I am paying for that size tub and it should be full... this is no way to run a business. Should be ashamed of yourself..... It's not that hard to fill it out and put the lid on it. I should open the lid and lick the cream cheese off the lid because that is the amount I'm paying for. I won't be back. Bagels are great here. They're actually boiled and have the good chewy texture a bagel should have. They make several varieties so the selection is great. I wish they were a little more generous with the cream cheese on the bagel/cream cheese combo. It is spread a bit thin for my taste, but it is delicious and I'll choose quality over quantity every time. I recently had the vegetarian croissant lunch sandwich, which was full of fresh veggies and a much more generous layer of cream cheese spread. This may be the best thing I've ever had here, and that is saying some thing, considering how good the bagels are. One thing to note, the last couple of times I asked for a customization like "no tomato please", it didn't happen and I had to pick tomatoes off my sammie. If that's a big deal to you, maybe double check your order before you leave. The restaurant itself is pretty basic, it is clean, and there are enough tables for small groups. This is a solid bagel spot to grab a quick breakfast. They have a great variety of cream cheese and bagels to offer. My favorite is the jalapeno cheddar bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. The jalapeno cream cheese seems a bit bland to me. Hubby likes their breakfast bagel sandwich. They have a good selection of coffee drinks and boba teas also. Super nice local bagel shop! I assume it was the owner that checked me out, but he was super kind and patient. I ordered one dozen bagels with two tubs of cream cheese and added an extra tub. Jalapeño cheddar bagels are my favorite, and this spot has jalapeños incorporated into the dough so you get some with every bite!! That is a first for me. The shop itself was super clean. Everyone got their orders super quick. It seems like a place with a lot of regulars. I would definitely come back and order more. I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. read more

The Thai iced tea is good but it costs $2.50 to add cream cheese to a bagel. They supposedly make it themselves but there's a fry's in the parking lot.... Came in on 8/12/23 after placing a pickup order. Store boosts local mom and pop shop which I absolutely adore. I'm not sure if the guy that rang me up was the owner or not but needless to say he was very welcoming and sweet. I ordered a cinnsational bagel with honey butter because I had a sweet tooth for breakfast alongside the Thai milk tea without whipped cream. The food was HOT, FRESH AND FLAVORFUL. The Thai milk tea was one of the best I've ever had perfect blend of sweet, velvety and tea flavor! The attention to detail on this drink was amazing the emulsion before being stirred was beautiful as is the bright orange tone when mixed! I couldn't have been happier having chose this place for breakfast. I will have to show my spouse this joint someday as he's a huge breakfast bagel person! :) read more

I pass by this place all the time (I go to the Fry's that is next door) and it is close to work. Never stopped in for a bagel until the other day. With a name like "Bagel Gourmet" I was hoping that I had found a good bagel joint. Sadly, it wasn't the case! I walked inside and placed an order for their version of an "everything bagel", toasted with cream cheese and then a plain salt bagel. My total was $4.00, I took a seat and in a few minutes the lady behind the counter came out with my bag. I took them to work and dug in. Here is how they were.............. Everything Bagel (They call it something else like a "works" bagel) with cream cheese- First thing I noticed was that this bagel was very circular and fat, almost like a baseball. The outside of the bagel had a decent amount of toppings on it, but not as much as I prefer. I took a bite in and noticed that it wasn't toasted too well. It had a super light toast to it and I wish it was toasted just a bit more. Texture wise, the bagel was "off", too! It didn't have the crisp/crunchy exterior and the soft middle. It was basically like eating a dinner roll that was toasted a bit. Meh. At least the cream cheese was tasty! Salt Bagel- This was even more baseball shaped than the other one. It was cold and nasty. I ripped it apart and took about 2 bites of it and tossed it in the trash. Once again, no crusty exterior, minimal salt, and the innards tasted like plain bread. One of the worst bagels I can remember eating. Overall, sadly, I will not be back. These bagels were sub par and just not that good! The works one was at least decent and the cream cheese was good. I would much rather get bagels elsewhere though...hell, even store brought Thomas or Sara Lee bagels are better than these! Much better, actually! Service was friendly and the price wasn't a total ripoff for 2 bagels so that is the sole reason this gets 2 stars. Meh. I've experienced better! read more

I placed an order on Sunday morning, through Uber Eats. When the order arrived, the delivery guy said that a tub of cream cheese had been left out of the delivery. Maybe 10 minutes later, someone from Bagel Gourmet arrived with the cream cheese and a muffin (As an apology fir the wait). This is the greatest customer service I have experienced in a while. Besides an assortment of bagels, sandwiches, wraps, salads, deviled eggs and more...this bagel shop SERVES UP JAPANESE FOOD! I noticed that the bagels are very large so we just shared a sandwich. We shared a fresh made bagel with nova lox and cream cheese. The bagel seemed very freshly made but was somewhat roll like. The cream cheese was thinly spread on both sides of the bagel and the vegetable layers of tomato and onion included and unusual addition of cucumber. The nova lox was better than what you can purchase from Fry's but wasn't the best. This was an OK sandwich. Not the best and not the worst but it was very large and very inexpensive. As for the Lunch Box menu they also serve up Teriyaki, Yaki Soba, Fried Rice and Dumplings. A wonderful find for fresh bagels with quality and variety. The staff is super customer friendly and they attempt to stock flavors of bagels through the morning hours. With such quality standards I would offer a couple thoughtful suggestions. I would rearrange ropes to go across the bagel display and have one person filling orders, leave room for others just needing coffee or to order from menu, carry out etc. Also when bagels are for carry out, use heavy duty paper bags instead of plastic, you can give plastic bag on side for those who wish to freeze them when home though plastic bags make hot bagels like doughballs.
