The Only Thing Worth a positive comment about this place is their burgers are really good but $34 for two burgers fries and two Cokes is a bit steep. They upcharge too much money for a tiny amount of french fries. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was terrible. This place is a joke. Horrible customer service. My wife and I ordered two bagel sandwiches and waited about 30 minutes to get them. We kept going back in to check the status of our sandwiches and kept being told that they were making them. So finally when they were done as we sat outside we hear our name being yelled from inside. Went in on a thursday morning around 9:30 for a quick breakfast. We ordered two toasted bagels with peanut butter - something that should take about 3-4 minutes to make at most. We grabbed a table and waited....and waited....and waited. Our bagels finally came out over 15 minutes later. While we waited no other food came out of the kitchen at all, so it's not like they were really backed up and overwhelmed with orders. I also think it's a bit crazy to charge 50 cents to toast a bagel. I get that it takes time and energy to toast something, but if they really need to charge for it, I'd rather it was just added to the price of the bagel upfront. The 1 star is for the owners of this place financially raping me this past Friday. My partner and I headed to old town Orange the Friday after Thanksgiving to do some antique shopping. We got there kind of early, none of the stores were open yet, so we decided to walk around and ended up going here to have a bagel and a coffee. Years ago a coworker used to bring bagels from this company into the office so I knew the bagels were good, but I had never been in one of their stores. I will start by saying the lady behind the counter was fantastic and friendly, and the bagels were incredible. However, that's where my happy face disappears. I ordered two bagels, toasted, with cream cheese and one small coffee. I didn't even think twice when the cashier told me the total was $9.30 because I was in bagel heaven, about to eat carbs for the first time in a while. (Low-carbers... you get where I am coming from!) When I sat down and joined my partner at the table he asked me how much it was, to which I replied $9.30. He asked me "for what, what did you order?" I told him two bagels and one coffee. He then asked why was it $9.30. "The bagels are only $1.39 each?" I then drifted back into reality and looked up at the menu board and started doing the math.... $1.39 for each bagel seemed reasonable enough....a couple bucks for the coffee seemed reasonable enough....that would've been maybe five dollars. I then noticed we were charged $.40 each just to toast the bagels! Are you FREAKIN' kidding me??? Stick with me kids, it gets worse. I still wasn't coming up to $9.30, so I looked further on the menu board and then discovered we were charged almost $2.00 each to add cream cheese to our bagels. THE FUCKING CREAM CHEESE COSTS MORE THAN THE DAMN BAGEL??? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? Needless to say I will never go back to this establishment. EVER. I strongly believe in small businesses making a profit, it's the American way, but don't just rip us off and expect everything to be OK. This is where your greed loses you a customer. Went here this past weekend with my family, it was busy so a wait was expected. However, we got our food before we got our drinks, I needed to remind them 3 times. Bagel cravings are rare for me, but this morning it hit hard and strong. It's located in the Orange Circle so the ambiance is awesome if you want to sit outside and people/car watch and there 8 or 10 tables inside that seat 4 people each. I ordered the lox and cream cheese with tomatoes and onions and a egg, bacon and cheddar melt but made it into a bagel sandwich. Both were really good. I really liked the lox and cream cheese. They both came from a small container of cinnamon apples, which were delicious. My only unpleasant surprise was that the blueberry muffin was $2.95. Otherwise, I'd come back again. They're open until 7pm so it's great for an early dinner too. read more

It pains me to rate Bagel Me so low As you'll see from my other reviews, I've had a love for Bagel Me since I started going years ago. I may live hours away, but whenever I'm in town (which is frequently), I make at least one trip to Bagel Me (if not more). The last couple of times I visited this one though, I've been disappointed. This last visit was the kicker. For some reason they don't have their menus on display on the walls. Not a big deal as I know what I want, but we had to wait until we got to the counter to get a hard copy of the menu for our party to look at. Anyways, I ordered my usual - bagel with lox, and the rest of our group ordered their meals and drinks. We went outside to wait for our food. The meals came out, and as usual, this location skimps on the lox. Lame but I'm prepared for it now. But then, they don't give me the onion bagel I ordered. Then with our group, they completely messed up on one order, getting the bagel completely wrong. They had to remake it. Now our drinks. Where are they? This happened the last time... they need more counter staff to actually make the drinks. I was practically done with my breakfast when they came out. They insisted that one was the mocha, and the other the latte. To the point where we were like 'ok, got it, this one is this and that is that.' My hubby take a sip of his scalding hot drink, while my MIL starts adding sugar to hers, only to find that they switched the drinks. And for both of them, they omitted the whipped cream. C'mon Bagel Me, what's going on?? It wasn't busy, and this stuff keeps happening! Unfortunately, we'll be going back to our old location and skipping this one. This place is the worst Bagel Experience you will ever have. I am going to break my review into 3 parts. Staff & Service, Decor & Cleanliness & Price. 1. Staff & Service: probably the worst staff there is at a eating establishment. They never get the order correct. They always have an attitude. For the love, pleased purchase some comfortable chairs that are not from the Home Depot parking lot sale. If you are gonna charge me full boat I expect to sit on a chair that more than $1.99! 3. Price: WOW they finally have a menu that you can read on the wall and not get mystery pricing! Who takes down and menu and doesn't put a new one up for months and just leaves a menu at the front where you order! This is another reason why it takes so long to order. People don't even know what they serve until they get to the cash register! Someone please explain to me how a plain bagel is $1.29 and with cream cheese it's $2.79!!! I think $1.50 for cream cheese is outrageous. Not to mention the barely cover you bagel with it. If you are going to charge me $1:50 I don't want to see any bagel, it's should be covered in cream cheese. If you are going to charge me extra for Ranch, BBQ etc then at least full the thing up, not just half way. BONUS: This morning when I went there to get a plain bagel with plain cream cheese that took 15 minutes. I was approached by a nice girl asking me "would you be interested in filling out a satisfaction survey in exchange for a free drink when your done?" I thought sure. I have tried most of their toasted bagels and sandwiches and they are fairly decent. Good for breakfast or lunch and they actually have some healthy options. Oh, Bagel Me! Love this place. Always bustling, but we're usually in and out (or with bagel) in 5 minutes or so, so it's not a big deal. My favorite is the nutty monkey bagel (cinnamon bagel with crunch peanut butter and banana slices!) and my bf always gets a salt bagel. They employees are always really nice and happy to accommodate my annoying requests like "easy light cream cheese, toasted dark" and such. :) It's a prime spot for people watching in the circle, too! read more

If I could describe thoroughly how disappointing every visit has been, you just might not want to come here. Briefly: The third to last time I went to bagel me, they "ran out" of half their bagels by 11am. I settled for an egg bagel. I specifically asked for 2 cream cheese on the side, letting them know TO CHARGE me because I did not want to have to get up after I start eating. Surprise surprise, I had to get up, order another cream cheese, and on top of that... Pay for a third cream cheese. My bf really likes coming here because it's 2 minutes away driving. The second to last time we were here, the bagels were so damned DRY that both of our jaws literally started to hurt and I absolutely could not finish my bagel. After this, I decided I really was not a fan of bad service, having to pay extra for them messing up my order, and for dry bagels that were over priced. The very last time, today. My bf and I are leaving town, he thought it'd be nice to quickly grab some food and hit the road. Because of past experience, I just grabbed a big cream cheese from the little fridge. My bf ordered a cheese bagel with turkey tomatoes mayo lettuce etc. I then ordered a cheese onion bagel. When we got our food my bf wanted to leave immediately. With their track record, I wasn't going to leave without checking the order. As I suspected, they screwed it up for the very last time. They gave me an untoasted, soggy, plain onion bagel. When my boyfriend told her it was supposed to be a cheese onion bagel, she said she only heard " onion". Well, little lady, I'm pretty sure I said "cheese onion bagel." Not "soggy onion," and not "cheese ONION!" so that all you hear is onion. Bad news travels fast. In his economy, you don't have room for consistant bad service. People hardly spend money, but when they do, it better be a well rounded place. Fortunately, I learned my lesson. They do not deserve our business. I will no longer return to this establishment. Well, here I am again. This is my "go to" place when I work weekends. The bagels with cream cheese are always tasty no matter which one you choose and the bagel sandwiches are always amazing. As always, I ordered the turkey, bacon and avocado with a side of fries and of course, it was delicious. Not sure how people can complain about price when it's clearly listed. If you don't feel that the price is fair or reasonable then it's pretty easy to not make a purchase. As far as the wait...well, this is a small place with a small kitchen, so if you have a simple order it is still worked on in the order it was received.
