Bacon and cheddar cheese cream cheese on onion bagel.
    Christy M.

This Bagel Pub in the plant district of Chelsea was just down the street from where we were staying at Moxie. My brother recommended it. It was INSANE. Bagels by themselves were AMAZING and HUGE. Tons of cream cheese options. My favorite was the cheddar and bacon cream cheese. I had that cream cheese on an onion bagel on our second morning. The first morning I had plain cream cheese on an onion bagel. My mom had plain cream cheese on a plain bagel twice. The bagel sandwiches themselves with the cream cheese are enormous. I would recommend splitting a bagel because they are just so huge. Be prepared to wait to order. It is worth it because everything is just so delicious there. Now that I'm back home I miss this shop so much!

Plenty of bagel spots in this area! I have had Bagel Pub bagels at the Brooklyn location! I was pleased in Brooklyn and even more pleased at this location very close to Penn Station! The service from walking in is quick. The choices are plentiful and the coffee and bagel were wonderful! I had the ABC bagel, and it had plenty of avocado, crispy bacon and more than enough cheddar cheese! The coffee was full of flavor and they had 6 kinds of milk to choose from to add to your cup of joe! There was a decent amount of seating inside and out! I have to return to this location and try some of the amazing flavors of spreads that i saw.

You haven't had a bagel until you came here! Oh my goodness, I waited until came to New York to have bagel and it was worth it! They make their bagels and cream cheese at the bagel pub. They are very generous with the amount of cream they put on the bagel and I LOVE it! (But if you don't want that much you can ask them for light spread) It does get busy in there but the line does go by fast. Make sure you know what you want. The employees that work there are really nice and helpful. The inside of the place is really big! They have plenty of seating inside and upstairs as well. If you haven't been here yet you definitely need to go and get a bagel! I can't wait to go back to NYC and come here and get another bagel. (Yum!!)

Absolutely fantastic bagels! It has the perfect combination of crisp, soft and chewy. Such great flavor and the perfect size. Cream cheese is amazing as well! My husband gets the egg sandwich and he loves it! Such a great ratio of every item. Service is always quick and friendly. Cute mezzanine area to eat your food with fun bagel themed art. We come here every morning we are in the city!

The bagels are soft and chewy and they fully pack the ingredients into the sandwiches. They have a huge variety of cream cheeses, which is both nice and overwhelming. Friendly service, reasonable prices, decent bagels. Definitely a place to visit.

Truly classic bagel spot! Absolutely amazing and fresh bagels, friendly staff, but little to no place to sit! They should really expand their seating space or reorganize the location to make sure customers can comfortably enjoy their bagels :)

I haven't been in the city for a while but on my daily lunch walk I came across this lovey bagel pub. It was so warm and inviting and the countless cream cheese caught my eyes. They have various cream cheese, bagels, sandwiches and wrap options along with tons of breakfast options. Although I only tried the vegetable soup, it was delicious and flavorful. Will be stopping back to try their wrap lunch specials.

Ran in this morning before a meeting and grabbed a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Everyone in there is very nice and super quick service. And the bagel is so good! The shop itself is also cute cute and lives up to the name as a "pub". Love it and I'm so happy it opened up nearby my hotel. This will definitely be on my rotation of morning stops when I can!

I love trying a new bagel spot every time I go to nyc and this one did not disappoint! So many sweet and savory options for bagels and spreads. The bagels are super fresh and your order is made very quickly. Lots of seats inside to sit and eat with friends.

My wife and I were staying nearby and stumbled upon Bagel Pub. We just wanted a bagel or sandwich and this was going to fit the bill. We first stopped around 945 AM on a Sunday and there were only a handful of people in line but the smells were plenty! My wife ordered the special which was so large she couldn't finish it. I opted for an egg sausage bagel which was outstanding. Shortly after we got our sandwiches they were packed out the door. Due to the food quality we decided to stop again Monday morning around 630 AM before we left. My wife ordered a bagel with their own special cream cheese and I had a bacon egg bagel. My sandwich may have been better on Monday. Prices are fair, quality is outstanding, environment is great and workers are friendly. I'd highly recommend the bagel pub. Definitely a solid option for anyone staying in the area.

This bagel pub was within walking distance of our hotel. I thought the bagels were great and they have a ton of cream cheeses to choose from. They also have hot egg sandwiches, etc. we went here twice during our stay. I would definitely recommend.

We stopped here on a whim because it was on our route today- um best decision ever! We wanted NY bagels and we got them! Soft and delicious fresh bagels with a plethora of options as far as cream cheeses go!! There wasn't much of a line but all seats were taken. This was definitely your NY bagel shop vibe! The staff took our order and the food came out pretty quickly! I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a whole wheat bagel with a side of plain cream cheese (basic, I know), but this was anything BUT basic! The flavoring was just SO good!! I had a taste of the Nutella cream cheese and that was phenomenal too! We will be back to take a bunch of bagels and cream cheese's back home!

I got the Lox 1. On a sesame bagel. It was amazing. We will def come back when we visit again! I brought a few bagles back to share with the family, but might hide them to have for myself instead!

Visit June 2026: I'm…read moreadmittedly not a bagel expert but when in NYC a bagel is a must. Supposedly so is eating a street hot dog but I'm not too sure on that lol. Anyways, the girls had bookmarked another bagel establishment but the line was hella long like they were giving away Knicks gear for free. Ironically another "bagel shop" search on Yelp showed PopUp Bagels was like three doors down lol. No line! That in itself was making me question but there is a PopUp in San Diego that my daughter swears by. PopUp advertised itself as "Not Famous, but known." Whether or not this bagel is better than the one store three doors up is something I cannot attest to. However I can say THIS WAS A DANG GOOD BAGEL! And it was freshly made! How do I know? It literally burned my fingers when I ripped it open! The pain was worth it. Outside, a slightly crisp texture generously coated with "Everything". Inside was a dense and chewy dough that was pliable but able to withstand the dipping and shmearing of cream cheese (which was smooth). Best I have ever had for sure but then again my most common bagel experience is the place named after a scientist where tons of bagels are sitting in bins for who knows how long. So why wasn't this a 5-star experience? One, I only ate one thing. Two, sevice and setting are "just there". Considering it wasn't busy I would expect a bit more of a welcome. To eat you're bagel you can full on just leave, sit at the three stools inside where it is super hot (bc hey they actually cook), or three stand outside. There is a little, I'll say "patio", where you can stand, eat, and true story, watch two people argue about who gets to sort through the recyclables from the neighborhood eateries. Snack and a show???? I just stood near the door and enjoyed my bagel.

The bagel itself is pretty solid. It's fluffy and got a nice texture to it. Honestly though, I'm…read morenot sure I really fugg with the whole concept. You cannot order a single bagel, you must order your bagels in 3s. So if you're not a big back and instead are a loser with no friends, you might have more bagels than you can eat. The bagels come whole and you're supposed to rip them and dip them into the cream cheese, and there's many smears to choose from, which is a plus. However, this requires a two hand situation, which means it's difficult to eat on the go, and the seating inside is limited. I did not realize this at first and I was trying to slice my bagel in half with a butter knife, and I failed and started ripping it to shreds in a fit of passion and rage. That when I saw their neon sign that says "GRIP. RIP. DIP," which sounds sexual, and realized that's the concept and intention. My advice--if you're gonna visit, come with a couple friends so you can try the bagels without having to eat 3. And bring hand sanitizer so you're not ripping up the bagel with your filthy subway fingers.
