My husband and I brought out 7 and 8 year old daughters and we all LOVED it!! From the atmosphere, the staff and certainly the food, it was all amazing! Very warm and inviting feel, our server Lana (I believe this is her name ) was very attentive and prompt. She was great with our girls and very patient. I ordered the "eggle" (ham, egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel) and it was perfect! I honestly have zero complaints! My girls loved the eggs (over medium, done perfectly) the grits and oatmeal were great and my husband was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the bacon was. I give this place 5 stars for what it is. Nothing fancy, nothing upscale. Good diner service with good diner food. I love stopping by for a Rachel sandwich-- the portion is perfect! I also enjoy their chicken tenders and nova bagels. Highly recommend for a simple spot for decent breakfast. read more

I have been looking for a bagel place near Coconut Creek. I will win more and this place is extremely convenient and has the best bagels I've tasted in long time. This was first and only experience. Just stopped in to grab some scrambled eggs and a bagel which were decent for a simple order. My only gripe, and maybe I'm weird but when you walk into a place of business something as simple as, "hello", "hey how are you?", "how can I help you?", "welcome", "what would you like?"....something....ANYTHING, would be better than just being looked at as if I'm bothering you would be faaaaantastic!!! read more

Good local bagel place with very good NY bagels. Weekends can be crazy if you go after 10 am, but the servers have been here for years and most of them are pleasant and always remember you, even if it's been a long time between visits. The breakfast is good...2 eggs any way, 2 meats (sauasage/ham/bacon), homefries or tomato or grits or oatmeal, plus a bagel (they have about 10 flavors) is only $4.59 until 11 am (7 days a week). The owner is "Moose" and the motif is all moose related. The French toast s too sweet for me, but the omlettes are good. The prices are reasonable, and givien the fact there are over 15 bagel joints within a 2 mile radius, this is one of the best for simple, plain, good cooked breakfast. It's a favorite with regulars and sure beats a chain by miles. read more

This place is a time warp. Especially the prices - you can have a full breakfast for $4, though you have to get there before 11 a.m. The food is decent - fabulous for the prices. The waitresses are a bit gruff, and there is a strange sign telling all customers who are coming for take out that they are not permitted to sit at any of the tables while they are waiting for their orders. They don't use gloves and the severs eat while handling food. Bagels are over priced and they don't make them in house. Called ahead to see if they had the bagels we wanted and she couldn't even check to see. First Time Here! The first thing you notice is it isn't fancy. Sort of like the neighborhood cafes you find in yes, every neighborhood...not in the downtown business district (unless you are in NYC, then yes, it is just like those). The service was not lightning speed... but then again, it was much faster than the NYC eateries (unless it is the breakfast or lunch rush). The waitresses were pleasant and smiling which I do appreciate. They were accurate and the food arrived warm. The eggs and rye toast were good and just as ordered. The only thing that kept the cafe from 5 stars was the ham. It was good but cut from a "block" and not bone in ham. They didn't say which ham I would get and I didn't ask. Simply, I prefer bone in ham steaks. Enjoyable, affordable and they left us alone to talk while continually filling the coffee cups... without being summoned. Yes, I will go there, again. read more

This is a good, cheap diner-ish place with lots of breakfast options. It was packed on a Sunday morning when we came in, but they get your food out pretty fast, so people came and went and seating was available quickly. They felt a little understaffed, and our poor waitress seemed to have too many tables to tend to. Nonetheless, she was still nice and trying her best to be attentive with all the chaos. The bagels here are just OK - they are a solid bagel, not much different than any other place. Their home-cooked, super yummy food is what is good here. And it's cheap! I got 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, home fries, and a bagel and cream cheese for 4.99. It's crazy. The eggs were yummy (cooked like some of my fave places back home), the bacon was super crispy and hot, and the home fries were cooked in delicious butter and seasoned salt and were soft and slightly crispy in the smaller bits. They were delicious. My husband got an egg-le, a bagel, egg, and cheese sandwich with bacon, and it was really good. Their bagels are solid, and hold up best on a sandwich, not really on their own, like I said above. We were able to get breakfast for a great price and be served fairly quickly considering how busy it was. Definitely worth stopping in for a quick, old fashioned breakfast. read more

My first visit: I got a 1/2 lb of corned beef & bagels (2 for 1 after 2pm) and knew it was the start of a beautiful relationship. Day 2 (for my work lunch and after work treat) I called ahead and ordered 1/2 lb Pastrami & 2 bagels the next day. OMG. So delicious. Real Pastrami is the absolute best. Reasonably priced and great day dine-in specials with lots of space to sit and enjoy if you're not in a rush. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and I foresee a great future for my work lunches. The 1/2 lb makes 2 heaped sandwiches and is a better deal for me than just the deli sandwich because for a dollar or 2 more, Ivan make 2 sandwiches. This is my favorite breakfast place the menu is always good and the specials are great. They have great bagels that are fresh and big. Cream cheese is made there. The homemade muffins are really good asked to get it grilled. If your looking for some tasty rye bread ask, then take a fresh loaf home. And yes it's made fresh. Passed this place 2,411 times in past 3 years and never new it existed. Found via yelp. Glad i did. It's a nice place for a quick, inexpensive breakfast with friendly service. Food was good, and they had turkey bacon which i love to see. Seems like a tucked away place where locals come, from young families of 6 to elderly couples getting their morning groove on. They can afford to keep menus prices down probably because they (apparently ) dont spend it on advertising. My waitress seemed determined to make sure i was happy and i would return, as I had told her it was my first time. I'll be back! read more

The entire restaurant is dirty, the bathrooms smell like a Cesspit, and if you're looking for mediocre food at an extremely low price --this is the place to go (buyer beware). They are constantly understaffed, and the waitresses are under alot of stress. The staff is under the guise of a lazy, unproductive, business owner/cashier who will not lift a finger to help or admit when she is wrong. I am shocked the health department has not closed this place down. In fact; owner/cashier is willing to destroy her business, and not serve clients when they complain. Instead the owner/cashier would rather destroy relationships with clients than dealing with them in a mature professional manner. Dirty.... not clean and there was a table with dirty dishes sitting there the whole time I ate with people sitting at the counter arguing about their jobs. The bagels are not good which is the name of the place. and the bathroom is filthy like a truck station.... I ordered chicken salad and it was tasteless. The floor corners just are dirty and I would never go back.... It need a complete renovation I mean even the waitress had on old clothes and dirty apron.... it is horrible read more

My Grandpa always loved little, hole in the wall, mom and pop restaurants for good food and Bagel time doesn't disappoint. Can go anywhere but Bagel time is my choice for breakfast. Really gross, old food. Walked in at 8am (30mins after opening) and was served old food. The food came out 5 minutes after ordering. I had hashbrowns, an omelet, and bagel. The bagel was delicious, but the other food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. When the bragging point of a place is that you get a ton of food for $2.99, you should probably expect to get what you pay for. Substandard fare at best in a less than clean environment. I found a group of rather long hairs in my food that entwined it self throughout the plate. When I brought this to the server's attention she insisted that it could not have come from the kitchen despite it obviously having been cooked into the food, and acted like I must have placed there despite my obvious much shorter hair. The waitresses even had a huddle to try and figure out how it got there whispering accusations about me. Whatever, I walked out while they debated. read more
