I'm just not feeling it here. The bagels are more like little pucks of generic white bread than bagels. The cream cheese tastes stale. Service was harried and a little rude; they want to rush take out customers out the door as soon as possible and yet it still took us a while to get our food. On top of this, the coffee was just not good and tasted burnt. The interior of this restaurant also seems in need of a renovation, since it looked like not much had been upgraded in years. If you've had serious bagels elsewhere, you can only be disappointed by what you'll get here. read more

Awesome fluffy omelets, great home fries, decent bagel and a good cup of coffee for two for $15. Can't beat that! We will be back to try more of their menu offerings. Wanted a bagel and this place seemed to have the best reviews in the nearby area. Ended up wishing I had gone somewhere else. At 1pm, the place was pretty empty. They only had 1 or 2 bagels left of each flavor in the display case. Service was friendly though. Although I wanted a bagel, the part of the menu I ordered from for some reason did not allow you to get a bagel. I went with a Reuben on rye. She asked if I wanted fries for only $1 more and I thought to myself why would I need fries on top of a Reuben sandwich? Well, I was wrong cause this was the smallest Reuben I've ever had for nearly $8. Now it wasn't bad tasting but it felt kids sized to me. My mom ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese and had no complaints. It too was around $7. The meals come with a slice of pickle (sour) and cole slaw or potato salad. We both got potato salad but it didn't taste homemade to me. It could be but it tasted like it came from a jar. This is more of a grill place to get things like eggs. If you want a typical bagel shop with pastries and tuna and flavored cream cheese, you'll need to go elsewhere. Overall, not worth the cost compared to other places in the area. read more

So we live in the area and have never thought about going to this restaurant so we thought we would give it a try, specially after I consumed way too much alcohol the night before and I was looking for a good breakfast to soak up the alcohol. We got there around 10 AM and the place was absolutely packed. The breakfast special was before 11 o'clock, I had two eggs over easy, hashbrowns, and an everything bagel. My boyfriend had two eggs over easy, grits with brown sugar and a raisin bagel. We were looking forward to a delicious bagel which we didn't get, it was very stale even after being toasted. The service was fast and friendly and the price was extremely inexpensive. As we were paying the bill we were asked how everything was so we let the cashier know that breakfast was delicious apart from the bagel being stale. She said that couldn't be because they are delivered fresh at 4 o'clock in the morning, so I brought the rest of the bagel home and I plan on using it for an anchor for our boat. Also they should rip up the carpet because it does have a hint of urine smell to it. read more

My husband and I brought out 7 and 8 year old daughters and we all LOVED it!! From the atmosphere, the staff and certainly the food, it was all amazing! Very warm and inviting feel, our server Lana (I believe this is her name ) was very attentive and prompt. She was great with our girls and very patient. I ordered the "eggle" (ham, egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel) and it was perfect! I honestly have zero complaints! My girls loved the eggs (over medium, done perfectly) the grits and oatmeal were great and my husband was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the bacon was. Weekends can be crazy if you go after 10 am, but the servers have been here for years and most of them are pleasant and always remember you, even if it's been a long time between visits. The breakfast is good...2 eggs any way, 2 meats (sauasage/ham/bacon), homefries or tomato or grits or oatmeal, plus a bagel (they have about 10 flavors) is only $4.59 until 11 am (7 days a week). The owner is "Moose" and the motif is all moose related. The French toast s too sweet for me, but the omlettes are good. The prices are reasonable, and givien the fact there are over 15 bagel joints within a 2 mile radius, this is one of the best for simple, plain, good cooked breakfast. Sort of like the neighborhood cafes you find in yes, every neighborhood...not in the downtown business district (unless you are in NYC, then yes, it is just like those). The service was not lightning speed... but then again, it was much faster than the NYC eateries (unless it is the breakfast or lunch rush). The waitresses were pleasant and smiling which I do appreciate. They were accurate and the food arrived warm. The eggs and rye toast were good and just as ordered. The only thing that kept the cafe from 5 stars was the ham. It was good but cut from a "block" and not bone in ham. They didn't say which ham I would get and I didn't ask. This is a good, cheap diner-ish place with lots of breakfast options. It was packed on a Sunday morning when we came in, but they get your food out pretty fast, so people came and went and seating was available quickly. The bagels here are just OK - they are a solid bagel, not much different than any other place. Their home-cooked, super yummy food is what is good here. And it's cheap! I got 2 eggs scrambled, bacon, home fries, and a bagel and cream cheese for 4.99. It's crazy. The eggs were yummy (cooked like some of my fave places back home), the bacon was super crispy and hot, and the home fries were cooked in delicious butter and seasoned salt and were soft and slightly crispy in the smaller bits. They were delicious. My husband got an egg-le, a bagel, egg, and cheese sandwich with bacon, and it was really good. Their bagels are solid, and hold up best on a sandwich, not really on their own, like I said above. Day 2 (for my work lunch and after work treat) I called ahead and ordered 1/2 lb Pastrami & 2 bagels the next day. OMG. So delicious. Real Pastrami is the absolute best. Passed this place 2,411 times in past 3 years and never new it existed. Found via yelp. Glad i did. It's a nice place for a quick, inexpensive breakfast with friendly service. Food was good, and they had turkey bacon which i love to see. Seems like a tucked away place where locals come, from young families of 6 to elderly couples getting their morning groove on. They can afford to keep menus prices down probably because they (apparently ) dont spend it on advertising. The entire restaurant is dirty, the bathrooms smell like a Cesspit, and if you're looking for mediocre food at an extremely low price --this is the place to go (buyer beware). They are constantly understaffed, and the waitresses are under alot of stress. The staff is under the guise of a lazy, unproductive, business owner/cashier who will not lift a finger to help or admit when she is wrong. I am shocked the health department has not closed this place down. In fact; owner/cashier is willing to destroy her business, and not serve clients when they complain. Instead the owner/cashier would rather destroy relationships with clients than dealing with them in a mature professional manner. Dirty.... not clean and there was a table with dirty dishes sitting there the whole time I ate with people sitting at the counter arguing about their jobs. The bagels are not good which is the name of the place. and the bathroom is filthy like a truck station.... I ordered chicken salad and it was tasteless. Really gross, old food. Walked in at 8am (30mins after opening) and was served old food. The food came out 5 minutes after ordering. I had hashbrowns, an omelet, and bagel. The bagel was delicious, but the other food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. When the bragging point of a place is that you get a ton of food for $2.99, you should probably expect to get what you pay for. Substandard fare at best in a less than clean environment. I found a group of rather long hairs in my food that entwined it self throughout the plate. When I brought this to the server's attention she insisted that it could not have come from the kitchen despite it obviously having been cooked into the food, and acted like I must have placed there despite my obvious much shorter hair. The waitresses even had a huddle to try and figure out how it got there whispering accusations about me. Whatever, I walked out while they debated. read more
