Awful experience and I've gone here for years. Yes, support local and small owned businesses, but consider spending your money elsewhere. The staff had awful hygiene and had no masks or gloves on, including condescending to me as they took my order, so they're rude, too. Half believe they spit on my cold and unappetizing bagel, which, no, I didn't eat. Half expect the kitchen to be as dirty as the looks I got. No distancing in place and no max capacity. This is either a store that was once good but has gone down hill or a place that just cares about a few things and leaves the rest to rot. The food sandwich, salad and drink was a bit over priced for the quality. While edible they just did not seem to want to make quality food it was slapped together and the taste of everything, including the drink, was off...in a bad way. Which that might have earned them 2 stars....but i've had 1 and zero star experiences and this was not it. I would eat here again...if someone else was buying....and i couldn't talk them into going a bit down the road. They did come close to getting one star just from the lack of cleanliness....which was very noticeable around the drink area. My husband and I recently went in, right at closing on a Saturday, yet were helped immediately by the friendliest and most courteous staff! We both ordered sandwiches and sides of macaroni and home made potato salad. The sandwiches were pilled high with pastrami and corned beef and the rye bread literally melted in our mouths! We also ordered 4 muffins to take home, which were equally amazing the next morning for breakfast! Everything was fantastic and will definitely be going there again! read more

The bagels are awesome. The people are awesome. However; if you are looking to get in and out like most bagel shops that is where this place goes wrong. On average, if you want something from the grill (breakfast sandwich/grilled muffin) you will wait a minimum of 10-15 minutes - and twice now 20 min). So visit if you want to pick up bagels and cream cheese for home - but not if you have any type of schedule to stick to. Come on, guys - pick up the speed a little! read more

Outstanding, simply outstanding! While out on a Saturday drive, we spotted this bagel shop and pulled in for a late lunch. Not realizing they close at 2:00, we went in around 1:40 and proceeded to order, they were overly courteous and very accommodating. We ordered the Nova Scotia Lox and cream cheese bagel with capers, red onions, and tomato. The bagels were VERY FRESH, as was the Lox and other toppings. I have been searching for a great deli like this and am glad that we found it. They had a Reuben Sandwich that I plan to try on another visit. I must add the Boars Head meats and the variety or choices for salads, bagels, soups, and sandwiches all look very appealing. To add this this, the restaurant was very clean and looked to be well-cared for with it being in business for over 8 years. I can tell the workers seem to care about the customers, the quality of food, and their service!!! Well done guys, we'll definitely return. read more

It's ok. I want to like it and come here everyday. I am one of those guys that likes to support my local spots and favs. I have been here over 5 times. I just feel like someone has jacked my pockets after I leave. The prices are way to high to come every day. On top of that, I had to tip the cashier. They don't even bring the food to your table? Why does she have a tip cup out? For taking my order? I am far from cheap and always tip over but after paying $9 for a bagel and orange juice, again I feel like someone stole my money. If I was getting a personal experience, they remembered my name, or even acknowledged I have been here before this would be different. I came here bright and early in the middle of the week for a baker's dozen of bagels, and they were not good. For one, the bagels were all hard as rocks, and being that The store has only been open for an hour, they were definitely a day, or most likely, more old. Secondly, The bagels were also paper thin; Handsdown the smallest bagels I've ever seen at a bagel shop. Thirdly, the bagels had zero flavor. I'm a huge pumpernickel guy, and that bagel tasted like a plain, just like all their other donuts. I gave them two stars, because although their bagels were horrible, they had really good homemade cream cheese at a super good deal, $2.50. Even though my experience was really bad, I think I'll give them another chance. Reason being because they might have just had a rough morning and that others' reviews seemed very favorable, but also because they're the ONLY bagel shop in town. Please oh please, someone open a decent bagel shop, I guarantee that place will be packed every day; a money maker I dare say. read more

Our office ordered bagels from here last Thursday and had a pleasant experience. Ordered again today and couldn't have had a worse experience. The girl with the blue hair was very rude. My coworker called in the order and went to pick it up. The order was messed up and Blue Hair blamed my coworker. We were planning to order lunch there too but we'll be getting our bagels and lunches elsewhere. Too bad, the bagels were pretty good and they are very convenient for us. Food always tastes amazing!! I order from here all of the time and I've never had any issues...But it's really sad they have someone working there that doesn't have manners. Her name is Jackie and she was not very nice on the phone. I had 5 bagels delivered to my house yesterday for my birthday and the guy I spoke to was super nice!! He told me my house was just in range (4.3 miles) but then I tried to have a few more delivered today and she said my house was (5.4 miles) and it was out of range because they don't deliver over 5.0 miles. I explained I already had bagels delivered the day before and that the guy I spoke to told me otherwise but she proceeded to tell me that I cannot have bagels delivered in the future. I'm originally from NY and let me say this is the closest thing you'll find to a NY bagel. I LOOOOOOVE their food and they are always soo friendly, however it is usually busy. Which is expected because their food is great, so there is a little wait sometimes but it's soo worth the wait.... Love them read more

It's nice to hear that they are opening a second location but it's so sad when a business gets to big or to busy to remember where they came from. I was going to this establishment when it first opened it's doors. When you knew everyone by name and they knew you. You would think that would carry over as they grew because you kept going back and recommending them. Now, I go in there and forget the hi how are you but I don't even get what I order and I pay for it so much more dearly. Picking up and getting home to find out your breakfast sandwich is loaded with everything you didn't ask for like melted cheese that you can't scrape off or spicy potatoes that have transferred spice to everything really piss me off. I don't want to drive 15 minuets back in each direction to get another nor do I want to waste my gas. Why bother to call and, "oh we'll put your name in the book for next time". No I just don't know if or when I will go back again. This wasn't the first time. There muffin and bagels and baked good are great but at what cost? They definitely are not the worst in town but they are no longer 5 stars either. I STRONGLY, suggest you check your order before you leave. Even if you have to unwrap each sandwich individually.
