    Poppy seed bagel
    Douglas S.

The bagels themselves weren't that bad, but where are all the toppings. Super skimpy on the cream cheese. The plain bagel had barely any scallion cream cheese on it. Maybe the thinest layer I've ever seen. Really disappointed to come home, open the wrapper and see this. The poppy seed bagel and it had like 20 poppy seeds total. Where did the rest of them go? It's basically a plain bagel. Will not be coming back if this cost $8 for basically 2 plain bagels.

Everything bagel with cream cheese and cucumber
    Chris K.

Good bagels and service. I enjoyed my everything bagel with cream cheese and cucumber, there was a good cream cheese to bagel ratio. My friends bagel was lacking on the cream cheese. The bagels were tasty but could have been toasted a bit longer. The dining area was clean and it was easy to find parking.

ow do i take my coffee seriously seriously?

Nice staff, plenty of room to sit and work if needed, and they make a nice London Fog Earl Grey Latte, but I am sorry to say the bagels were dry and disappointing. My first clue should've been when they were automatically going to toast the bagel. I should have let them. I did however think their lox spread which had fresh dill in it was delicious. I scraped it off and ate it with a spoon.

Egg and cheese on a Jalapeno bagel
    Guli K.

Good variery of bagels, cream cheese, breakfast and lunch options. Opted for egg and cheese on a jalapeno bagel. Bagel was fresh and perfectly toasted - found it a bit difficult to say it was a jalapeno bagel, was expecting more flavor or kick from the jalapeno. Wide variety of coffee, espresso and tea options as well. Service was quick and friendly. Cash only.

Wonderful service, great coffee and bagels. This is a great spot. Twix coffee and a jalapeño bagel.

Casual dining about on par with your local Applebee's…read more Vibe: Bar and lots of seating including an area that can be curtained off presumable for private events, overall casual family friendly vibe. Service: Good, fast, pleasant Food: The Asian beef tacos which were fine, came with 3 tacos, heavy on the filling, flavors were so-so. The chocolate cake was a layered cake, the ganache was good, could have used more strawberry slices to cut through the richness. Drinks: The Raspberry lime rickey mocktail was perfectly sweet and sour, tasted like candy. Value: Tacos were $18, for the quality I would say that these were overpriced. The cake was a good portion for desert and was $9. Other: The bathroom was dark, could improve in the lighting. Obviously more a customer issue and could have gone between cleanings but there was shredded paper towels scattered on the ground. Overall this wasn't a bad meal by any means, just overpriced for basic food.

It's advertised as being family friendly, so we thought it would be a great place to bring our toddler. They grabbed a booster seat for us but didn't have any high chairs. It didn't go well for us. We asked for a check and boxes for our food and left. Had they had a high chair with being advertised as family friendly, this restaurant would easily get 5 stars.

I would've loved to give this family owned restaurant a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, 10 of us were…read morerecently there for a family reservation for a 1 year old birthday celebration dinner. A couple of problems occurred that should never at a family Italian spot. 1- 3 children, never offered crayons I had to walk over to the hostess stand 20 minutes in to ask once I saw how long the drink orders were taking. 2- girls ages 5 & 6 never received their lemonade. Had to ask twice. They should be served first. 3- Their pizza arrived scolding hot with ZERO plates! 4- Kids dessert arrived last. Wait.... Second to last while almost all adults whipped cream melted. 5- Another adult had to go hunt down tiramisu that was never delivered. This was a Friday evening reservation at 6pm. four or five other families were also dining with children and I know Lucia's is known for after sport pizza parties, as well as high school pre game pasta parties. Very confused what went on here.

I have been coming to Lucia's for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Winchester and have…read morereturned often with my family whenever I'm home. It has always been great, and we had never had any issues, which is why, this past Father's Day--the first since my dad passed away a few months earlier--I ordered his favorite meal to take home: chicken parm with extra sauce over pasta and a house salad with their delicious dressing. About 20-30 minutes after ordering, I was notified that the food was ready, so I went straight to the restaurant after walking my dog. When I checked in, several very nice hostesses assured me it would be out in a moment. That continued for nearly an hour, with different explanations for why it still wasn't ready despite my being told to pick it up: they were packing it, checking on it, and so on. The wait itself wasn't the problem. I just wish someone had acknowledged there had been a mistake and told me to come back later. I wasn't in a rush; I simply didn't want to sit in a hot restaurant while my dog waited in the car, forcing me to run outside every five minutes to check on him. The experience was frustrating, and I do wish some sort of compensation had been offered as a gesture. The hosts were very kind, but I still don't understand why I was told the food was ready and then made to wait nearly an hour. The reason we will not return to Lucia's or recommend it, however, is the manager I spoke with when I called to explain what had happened. He was curt, dismissive, rude, and unapologetic--an absolute jerk. The only thing he repeated was, "We have an hour to get the food out." There was no point in explaining that it had already been more than an hour since I ordered, and zero chance he cared that a quiet, meaningful moment on a difficult holiday could have been made better by a little understanding, but was instead made worse. Frankly, I would not trust a dish he touched going forward. If he is the manager, I feel bad for everyone who works for him. The fish rots from the head.
