My friend and I decided to check out this place for dinner, and let me tell you they do not disappoint. The place was busy but the wait time wasn't too bad. Even if we waited, the food and service was worth the wait. The waitress who attended us was very professional and attentive to us. You can not go wrong with the chicken tostones or coconut shrimp as appetizers, they are amazing. Their drinks are amazing, you can not go wrong with the Bahamarita. Their jerk chicken meals, steaks and ribs are all amazing. They have endless options to choose from. But their food is amazing, their service is good, trust me this is worth it. I usually dine in and the experience is nice and the food is delicious. But this time I ordered to go and unfortunately they dropped the ball. I requested napkins and utensils and received nothing. It was night time and I was on the road so I didn't notice until I had already left the restaurant and ended up having to eat with my hands - using my steak to eat my sweet potato's . It is a TO GO order . Should ALWAYS have napkins and utensils to eat the food . SMH. Came in for lunch and decided to just sit at the bar since it was just myself. I was greeted right away by the bartender, a super nice lady with a burst of energy. I decided to try there new drink called the Guava Goose Comso, I highly recommend if you enjoy vodka and guava. It wasn't too sweet but strong which I like lol. From 11-4 they have a lunch portion, it's not listed on the menu but ask your waiter. I decided to get the Beef empanadas with a cup of the Bahamian seafood chowder. Also got an order of there "New" conch balls. The empanadas were hot a fresh and really tasty especially when you dip it in the chutney, now for the chowder I usually enjoy it but not this time. The soup was warm about to be cold basically, I wanted to tell the bartender but she was tending to other tables so didn't want to be a bother. The conch balls took a while to come out but when they did get to me I can tell they are new and improved. The conch balls are a tad bit bigger, the dipping sauce taste like it's mustard based and they top it with a mango salsa. You face liability if those kids run out to parking lot and are hurt, if they knock (me) down and on and on. The 5 children even had blue large balls. One ran back and forth making loud stepping sounds on outdoor deck. They played soccer behind our table UGH. The parents weee far away enjoying themselves without a care in the world. We had all sort of appetizers from beef empanadas, lobster and shrimp quesadilla, coconut shrimp, Jamaican chicken wings, some chicken with tostones , calamari and to drink we had a Mojito, margarita , str8 rum and come coke and eveyrthing came out to be 60$ .. this was the best part the check i was like 60$ so it was because the appetizers were all half off so were the drinks. The place is nice and Service was fast but location had a funny smell(actually disgusting),floor was dirty and wet in an area close to the bar,We ordered a plate called Taste of Jamaica and Baby back Ribs. The taste of Jamaica is like a combination platter, the jerk chicken was nos as spicy or didn't tasten like the real jamaican jerk chicken flavor, braised greens were not good and lack of flavor. Wife and I have been here many times. This one was absolutely surreal. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. Period. Came in to have drinks and desserts after a movie. Headed to the bar. Four stools open, with patrons separating them. We sat at a high top four feet from an open bar stool. Twenty minutes passed. No service. I walk up to the bar. Charming tender took my order for drinks and a dessert for my wife and I to share. Asked where I was seated. I pointed to the table and said clearly that we were there because the stools were available but not next to each other (the purpose for a date night). Enter surreal. Bartender said he could not serve us because we were not specifically at the bar. I asked patrons if they would kindly slide down one stool; they refused. Bartender said he would send a server to our table. Ten minutes later, a server arrived. The young man said the section is closed and we could not be served if we were not at the bar. I explained that there were seats, but they were not together, I would gladly take one of those seats, and we could have our drinks and dessert at the high top. He said that was not possible. We had to be at the bar, there was nothing he could do. Then, abruptly, we were dismissed - he simply walked away to the hostess stand. Bahama Breeze - logic much? Customer service standards alone would have said to accommodate what made absolutely perfect sense. The lack of accommodation, understanding, or any attempt to please a diner was absolutely absent. In the past, I have recommended this business to many people for family or other events. After this absolutely horrid display of customer disservice I will no longer recommend it. In fact, given so many other establishments that would have responded in a productive way, I would have to recommend people go elsewhere. I am giving one star only because zero is not an option. Not too much to say about this place. The drinks were good. The whole fried snapper was just ok. I prefer the snapper fried with the bones. The ultimate pineapple aka Miami vice in a pineapple was delicious but barely had any alcohol. I'm a light weight drinker and it didn't even tickle. We were informed by one of their servers that the AC has been broken for 2 days!!!. I spoke with one of the managers and she said she didn't have to informed me that the AC was broken . I have not been to this place in years. We always see it so packed on Kendall so we decided see what we have been missing. It was Saturday at 6:30pm we got seated right away and the service was great. Pratima was our waitress, she was very sweet and attentive. She recommended some drinks to us but, we got the bahama mama and mojitos that were delicious, we also got the pina colada mixed with strawberry which was great as well. For appetizers we got yuca cheese sticks and the crab and avocado stack, it was very good . The green sauce that came with the yuca cheese sticks was delicious. For entrees my boyfriend got the jerk chicken pasta and I got the room vieja tostones. The food was great, the portions are huge and the dishes are priced well. The only negative is that my boyfriend wanted more chicken in his pasta. We had no room for dessert but we will be coming back again soon I was very pleased with bahama breeze! read more

Poor service, wait time for a table wasn't bad. The issue was we were never waited on. Everyone around us was getting waited on but us to the point that it got the attention of another server. Who came to ask us if anyone had come by to wait on us. She took our drink order and asked her colleague who is suppose to wait on us. "bahama breeze" has come a long way. the entree's are definitely better, the portion sizes and prices are very good. we also had a great server who had great knowledge of the menu, made good recommendations and she also had a ton of energy and smiled the whole time. we kept it pretty simple when it came to ordering. i tried the "churrasco plate". it was a 10oz steak, i order it medium as always and it was seasoned well and cooked exactly as ordered. it was accompanied by black beans and yellow rice. both were full of flavor and tasty. my wife enjoyed the "Braised short rib & oxtail", served with corn, green beans and white rice. it was a rich and hearty treat. it was cooked well and seasoned to perfection. the meat was falling off the bone. i was also very happy that we were seated as soon as we arrived and the food was cooked and arrived to the table in a timely manner. "bahama breeze" is also doing a great job in the dessert department with multiple dessert that are very delicious and visually pleasing at the same time. once again the prices are very fare. i would recommend "bahama breeze" for a weekend treat. read more

Decided to have dinner here last night. They are taking COVID 19 precautions which is great. We ordered conch fritters to start and they were not very good but the fire cracker shrimp was delicious and the dipping sauce too. For the main dish I got coconut shrimp with Caribbean rice and broccoli... the shrimp was good! Our other main dish was the buttermilk fried chicken. This option wasn't our favorite as their were too many sauces and flavors mixed in one dish. I wouldn't order that again.
