Great vibe! Delicious food, interesting art and impeccable service. The food was fresh and delicious!

Came by here last week and it really satisfied that craving I've been having for some delicious unique Mexican food. The decor, first of all, is absolutely gorgeous. A crew member told me that everything was hand painted or hand designed by one of the owners and I wish I could have these beautiful trinkets in my home. The decor was bright and really displayed that unique Colombian and Mexican flavors on their menu. To start one of the crewmembers recommended I get the pico appetizers with chips. It was perfectly seasoned and so fresh !! I wanted something a little more on the Colombian side so I got an arepa with Barbacoa and it was delicious! They packed the meat on there and piled on the toppings. The cheese was perfectly melted. I also got one of their pineapple juices which was refreshing.

It is a small space in a strip mall next to iHOP. Parking is super minimal in front, but there is additional parking in the back. Somewhere. The Taco Tuesday special was ok, I had the burrito and it was alright, nothing great. The server was nice, he also gave us some sauces to taste and I liked the verde the best. I did use a good bit of that with my burrito and someone else ordered the plantains with their shrimp tacos. (The shrimp was not a protein on the Taco Tuesday special options.) The plantains looked burnt. They actually weren't but they didn't taste very good either, so they sat. Overall, there wasn't much to write home about, I wouldn't return.

Great taco place. We came here for late lunch because we were in the area for some chores. Around 3 pm on Saturday it was empty. Staff were very nice, we sat down and ordered 3 dip sampler and each of us got three tacos. Ambiance is very simple and cozy, it's not a fancy place, just clean and pleasant. We enjoyed food very much, they have a large selection of food and also have vegetarian options. Definitely a great taco place.

EAT HERE! I came in on a Tuesday for lunch - the owner was manning the counter, cooking and serving. Incredibly delicious food. They have a GREAT deal for Taco Tuesday! I tried the pork, chicken, and ground beef - my favorite was the pork! I also got a side of fried yuca and a side of sweet plantains. Get it all. Eat the whole menu. The owner is so kind and humble and talented in the kitchen! Everything was delicious and fresh and mouthwatering. I ordered a LOT of food and I ate every bite. Don't sleep on this spot! I will be back to try every last thing they offer!

FOOD WAS SO GOOD!!! Like seriously amazing and a very generous portion. The staff was very sweet and helpful! The inside is also very cute and artsy. Will be coming back for sure.

Bahia Tacos has the absolute BEST birria tacos I have ever had! The flavor is amazing, the tacos are perfectly made, and every bite is so satisfying. This has become one of my boyfriend and my favorite Mexican restaurants -- we always look forward to coming back. The food is consistently delicious and never disappoints. If you're thinking about trying this place, definitely do it... you won't regret it!

Burrito split with al pastor $11.50

4 stars for a solid meal and a super cute dining area! It's a small space but they decorated it so cute with bright colors of pink and yellow and unique art. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the burrito with al pastor, $11.50 but you're able to choose whatever meat in your order. It was plenty split and all the ingredients felt fresh and not greasy like other Mexican restaurants. To start we ordered the chips and salsa,$3 and the basket was generous with non greasy chips too. The churros, $3.50 are a definite MUST, with caramel filling that are made fresh to order and topped with cinnamon sugar and condensed milk. We left feeling satisfied and enjoyed our first visit! If you're craving some Mexican give Bahia Tacos a try!!

Empanadas - Birria

I am a frequent customer at this location and recently I discovered that they have empanadas on their menu as well and so I decided to try the birria empanada for my lunch break and they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that you try these empanadas and plus they're only four dollars each so you can get a cheap lunch for eight dollars and be satisfied.

Nachos

Stopped by and was blown away by the food! The tacos al pastor were absolutely amazing! Perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The nachos were super crunchy and loaded with delicious toppings in every bite. I also tried one of the bowls, and I have to say, it was just as impressive. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The vibe and service of the place was great, relaxed and welcoming. Price-wise, it's very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

What a great little find! We are staying in a nearby hotel and this place was recommended by the staff. I spend a good amount of time on the west coast of Mexico, eating a lot of tacos and these stand up! I had tacos Al Pastor. They were tasty and juicy. The sauce was just the right heat. My friends had fried grouper tacos and emptied their plates. Fried plantains were cooked to perfection. Our table got free churros for tagging and following on Facebook and Instagram. Well worth the shout-out!! Yummy!

The service is great. Food is cooked fresh while you wait. Very clean. Decor is very decorative.

Cute place, only tried the birria tacos and they were decent, could definitely use more flavor though. Interested to try other things here.

The history,…read morearchitecture, and cuisine celebrated here, along with the family warmth of the place, certainly caught my attention!! The wait staff were very friendly, Mark my waiter, has worked here for over 20 year! Speaks volumes about how they run this place! The service was chill, and the food was 1000% full of delicious flavor. I tried their classic famous salad, the seafood paella, and the flan! Absolutely hit the spot!! Visiting here on a Sunday evening was a totally different experience! It felt less like dining out and more like sharing a family meal in a much-loved, historic home. I'll definitely be returning and will bring friends and family with me next time I visit Tampa!

As the oldest restaurant in Florida and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world, we felt it was a must-visit to experience its rich history and unique atmosphere. We also reserved seats for the Flamenco dance show, which had a $10 cover charge per person. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and enormous, with so many different dining rooms. You could probably get lost trying to find your friends inside, just kidding! We were lucky enough to get a table near the stage, so we could enjoy the Flamenco performance while having dinner. For our meal, we started with the Caldo Gallego "Giant Soup" ($10), which was hearty, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. We also ordered Columbia's Original "1905" Salad ($18). Made with crisp iceberg lettuce, julienned baked ham, natural Swiss cheese, tomatoes, olives, grated Romano cheese, Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire sauce, and their famous garlic dressing, it was fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. Our main dish was the Mojito Chicken ($25). The chicken was very flavorful, especially with its delicious citrus-garlic sauce. Although the chicken itself was just a little on the dry side in my opinion, the flavorful sauce made up for it, and the dish was still very enjoyable. We also had the Paella "a la Valenciana" ($40), which was loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, calamari, chicken, and pork, along with green peppers, Spanish onions, ripe tomatoes, garlic, and a splash of white wine. It was a generous portion packed with fresh seafood and rich Spanish flavors. The New York Strip Sirloin "The Bambino" ($53) was another excellent choice. The 14 oz. USDA Choice wet-aged boneless strip steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. To finish our meal, we ordered the Flan ($8). It was smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious, a perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. The Flamenco dance show was fantastic! The dancers were energetic and passionate, making the entire dining experience even more lively and memorable. Combined with the excellent service, it made for a truly enjoyable evening. Overall, Columbia Restaurant is much more than just a place to eat, it's a historic landmark and an unforgettable dining experience. Between the beautiful Spanish architecture, rich history, delicious food, outstanding service, and exciting Flamenco performance, it's definitely worth visiting when you're in Ybor City.

It's in a stand alone building, right next to a large apartment complex. The turn is very easy to miss on your first visit, even with GPS. But once you've been there, you'll never miss it again. Your tastebuds will lead you home. When I got there, early on a Thursday morning, the place was humming. There are no tables or booths-it's take out only... and people were whizzing in-then whizzing out with big boxes or bags. That was a very good sign. But soon, I didn't notice the other people (cue the music montage)... I was mesmerized-transfixed, even... by all the goodies. Everything from delicate coconut pastries to corn casserole to fruit tarts/tortes, to chicken empanadas, to fancy cakes to big, puffy/fluffy cheese loaves... all beautifully displayed and labeled. It was a feast for the senses. I couldn't stop taking photos! I also couldn't decide what to get, but finally blurted out something about the corn casserole and quickly added the coconut cocada and pan bolo (guava). I am happy to report that everything tasted as good as it looked. As the 80s ballad declared: "the search is over"... I have found my favorite bakery, I love that it has both sweet and savory items. I will be back again and again. But not just for the food. It's the service! The woman helping me was absolutely delightful. She was warm and friendly and helpful and full of good suggestions. She was sunshine. That's something you can't put in a display case or add to a recipe.. Ricopan, you're a star! I'll be back! P.s. private parking lot-fair prices-very clean and they also sell coffee-maybe other drinks, too.
