Me and my boyfriend call this place "bomb thai". We really only come in for the Monday - Friday lunch special, pretty sure it's from 11-2. For about 8$, you get soup, phad thai, curry dish of your picking, and an egg roll. I always get either red or panang curry with the phad thai and it's never been disappointing. I'm into spicier foods but I've never been unhappy with choosing a 2 or 4 stars spicy, either way it's flipping awesome. We've always been sat quickly, there's interesting decor, the waiters/ waitresses are quick to fill up your waters and it's just an all around pleasant time. Dooooo it. read more

The place itself is a very intimate authentic restaurant. I had never eaten Thai food before but my friends I went with are very frequent eaters of thai food so they were excited. I had ordered the from the lunch combo that offered a variety of appetizers and a main dish. The soup and egg rolls were delicious but when it came to the actual dish itself I found it to be a little bland. The lunch combo does offer a lot of food so plan on leaving super full! For the amount of food I received the price was not bad at all! My friends seemed to enjoy their meal a lot so I'm just assuming that it was the type of dish I ordered. read more

This little Thai place happened to be 2 blocks or so from my hotel, so it was the perfect option for dinner. There are a ton of restaurants in this area depending on what you're craving, but I found this to be an affordable (and delicious) option. Met a few friends here for dinner and I got the green curry. It was a little spicier than I wanted for being 0 stars, but I also think nacho cheese is spicy so take that with a grain of salt. My other friends both for two different stir fry options with 3 stars. It was extremely spicy for them and they actually eat spicy food. If you plan on going that route be sure to grab a side of rice to cool things down. Otherwise the service was awesome, the waiters were super attentive and always refilling your water glass. Strong foul odor hits you as soon as you walk through the door. Smells like feces to me. Service was decent. Food was tasty, but with the smell of poop permeating the restaurant, it's hard to get too excited about your red curry. I have been to this place at least 10 times and had loved the food but recently my experience has been very disappointing They are not consistent with their spicy levels. Sometimes 3 is super spicy , sometimes 3 is super bland. I went there recently and ordered bahn thai fried rice and asked for fresh tofu for the choice of meat . I asked for spicy level 2 since 3 was extremely spicy for me. They gave me fried tofu instead of fresh and the fried rice was bland . Had no salt , no flavor at all . Love coconut? Get their homemade coconut ice cream. It comes with crushed roasted peanuts. So simple yet so delicious. Their curries with coconut milk are super yummy too. We had their Panang Curry and Special Pumpkin Curry. Each had its own distinct flavors which is great. I hate it when everything tastes the same. We also tried the Pad Si Ewe and Drunken noodles. Both were good, but I prefer their Drunken more. The Pad Si Ewe had a tangy sauce vs. the accustomed sweeter soy sauce I'm used to. The service and restaurant are nice & comfortable to visit. I came here about 30 minutes before closing and there still was still a good amount of people there. I ordered the Tom Yum Chicken soup, beef Pad See Ew, and Garlic Sauce Chicken. My boyfriend liked the Garlic Sauce Chicken, but normally he's not a huge fan of Thai food. I thought everything was just okay. The Tom Yum soup was not sour enough for me and the Pad See Ew was too sweet. Service was great though! read more

You ruined our Friday evening! We arrived with a party of three and ordered a bunch of drinks, starters and main courses. The drinks arrived somewhat in a timely manner but we waited AN HOUR for our food. Nobody checked in with us, explained what's going on or even offered to refill our drinks when they were empty and obviously our entire table was bar any food or drink. We had to flag down someone to order another round and inquire as to where our food was (and were given the promise it wouldn't take more than ten minutes - after having waited for an hour already). The restaurant was about half way full when we arrived, but clearly soon developed a backlog when a queue of people was forming in the entrance hall. A couple behind us gave up after half an hour of waiting for both food AND drink and left. We should have done the same. After one of the three starters we ordered finally arrived after AN HOUR OF WAITING, I flagged down another waitress and asked her to cancel the rest of the order and give us the check since we had to leave for an event. Two minutes later the rest of the food magically arrived and we had about 15 minutes left to eat before we had to leave, so we asked for the check (AGAIN) and boxes to take most of the food with us. The bill was brought promptly, with the full amount and no apologies at all. When they cleared the table, they even had the audacity to give us unsolicited advice of ordering sooner next time (the excuse was they get busy with take out orders). If you know you're late serving food, don't pretend it's the customer's fault, that's just bad form. If you can't deal with the pressure of a busy Friday evening, don't bother at all with what you call serving customers. The experience was dreadful. There's better hole-in-the-wall places that only do take-out I'd rather go to. read more

Right as we walked in our noses filled with fragrant smells of delicious Thai food that really got our tummies growling! Even the interior and exterior decor was authentic throughout this house-turned-restaurant. Such a cozy little spot! After skimming the menu for a minute or two, we knew exactly what we wanted: beef pad thai and chicken panang curry (both 4 stars) with a glass of Chardonnay each. After only about 15 minutes, our food landed on our table steamin' hot! The spice level was on point as we got that kick we were hoping for. The deep, rich flavors from the panang curry were some of the best I've ever had! It was creamy, spicy, and definitely not lacking in any of the ingredients. The pad thai was equally as delicious with a dark orange-brown sauce and robust flavors that packed a real punch. When my group of three first came in one of the people from the kitchen told us that he'd be right back to help us but he moved back and forth for at least three minutes before we were finally shown to our table. The food took forever to come out. Like seriously. It took excessively long for the small portion our Drunken Noodles was served as. Our tofu appetizer was also forgotten by the waiter. HOWEVER, the taste was delicious. The Drunken Noodle was jam packed with flavor and the noodles each had a new, refreshing yet comforting taste. I hate it when restaurants have noodles that end up sticking together but these didn't! The Banh Thai fried rice was ok (not amazing, but still pretty good) but the curry was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend the curry. On average, everything was on the sweeter side which was my only complaint in terms of the food. Service could be improved though. read more

App error never uploaded last year and saved to drafts. So this was actually back in November 2017. Unfortunately the restaurant was not anticipating the surge of folks from the TEDxSeattle event. The hostess did her best, but it over an hour from the time I arrived to be seated, . After 50 minutes, I had to request my check and food to go, and wait until later in the evening. At 1 hour, I received my food and had to request folks to take my check to process. Left 20% tip regardless as the food smelled excellent. I happened to randomly try this place once, when I was tired of the same old Thai places I visited every now and then. With international cuisine, you never know how it'll be until you've seen good reviews and heard about it from friends. But I gave it a shot. And it worked! I would say their level of spicy is generally higher than other Thai restaurants, but it is one of the best Thai food places I've explored in Seattle so far. I would say fair on the prices, but they could definitely add more tofu (not at cost) in tofu dishes if they charge $14-$16 per dish. I am a vegetarian and I tried Phad Thai, Pad See Lew and Drunken noodles. Little spicy with 4/5, 3/5 is just right. I'd definitely say, it's worth a try! read more
