10 stars! People do fireworks on our street on 4th of July (and of course, the days leading up to it) so we decided to try CBD this year for our dogs to help them deal. Our old Almond also has arthritis, and is on some Cosequin chews recommended by our vet, but I don't think they are helping as much as they used to. Before deciding to put her on actual meds, I wanted to try CBD for that as well. I personally love CBD for my back pain, sleep, and relaxing. Trust me, I love THC as well, but sometimes I don't want the high, I just want the relief. We popped in here over the weekend. The owner was super cool and informative. He gave us the run down on what they have and dosing for our three 10-ish pound dogs. Bailey, "the boss" was also there too, cutest little pug who clearly is in charge. They also have CBD for humans and I was sold on the Catalyst Sleep CBD gummies he highly recommended for me. Those work GREAT! I took one both Saturday and Sunday and they honestly work better than any other product I have tried for my sleep! As far as the dogs go, I know the drops we bought for Almond's arthritis will take awhile to work into her system. But the chews? Wow! Almond does get anxiety over our newest addition, 5 month old Truffle. He's just too much for her to handle. I gave her a 1/2 a chew on Saturday night, and it didn't do much, so I gave her the other 1/2 about an hour later and she was super calm, didn't care that he was being obnoxious and making noise at all. Last night Citra and Truffle were playing super rough and driving us insane, we decided to give them each a 1/2 and see what happened. ZONKED OUT. Citra always knows it's time to go to bed when I turn off the TV, that is her sign to get up and go potty. Not last night. We had to call her name a few times, then she looked at us, all zenned out and was like, "ok, i'll go potty." It was crazy how well these worked! Bailey's CBD tincture has gotten my pup through some "ruff" times. He has a chronic shoulder injury which pops up from time to time with overextended playing (fetch usually does the trick). I started him on Baileys products about 2 years ago, a couple drops with every meal. Since then, we've been able to substantially curb the down-time and continue allowing Gunner to do what he loves best -- chasing a ball or frisbee. When we do have a flare up (which occurs MUCH less often now), we increase our dose from 2 drops with every meal to 3 drops, and usually he's back on his feet in just a day or two vs. the typical 1-2 weeks without Baileys. Bailey's cbd soft chews for dogs are such a hit in my dogs life currently. These treats are such a nice compliment to my dogs routine currently. The chews are a great way to give her cbd without having to use a dropper to her mouth or adding it into her food. It's fun and interactive for her and she gobbles these soft chews right up. The bacon flavor with 3mg about 5-6 chews at a time seems to be what she likes currently. She tried the peanut butter banana as well but the bacon flavor seemed to be way more exciting for her. The cbd blend in these I find work well with her chemistry and rid my dogs anxiety to an extent that puts her at ease when going on walks in high traffic areas. Bicycles are now a thing of the past!
