I can't say anything bad really about the food but it was good and came out quickly. I ended up paying over $25 for 4 tacos. Shrimp taco was $8 each so we got them thinking they must be special but was very underwhelmed. Wish they had more stuff on them also instead of just a couple toppings. I ordered a burrito. So my review is only based on the carne asada burrito. I've heard good things about their tacos. I have never tried the tacos and hopefully they were better but at the time, I wasn't really craving tacos. The restaurant is indeed clean and spacious. There were lots of seating. The food was not authentic but more modern version. I didnt wait long for my food to come. They have a salsa bar in the back. My burrito wasn't good. The carne asada was Salty and it ruined my appetite. The burrito was big and it had lettuce inside. It wasn't what I was expecting and possibly was hoping for a burrito from a taco truck. The prices were too much and for a burrito that I didn't enjoy, I can say it was not worth it. As of today, the burrito listed was $14. Crazy. I've been going to this restaurant for a while now. I haven't been let down yet! The food is always fresh and tasty. I love the salsa bar they have too! My chicken Caesar salad had fresh Parmesan, wasn't over dressed and tasted fresh and crisp. I've had taco's several times here too that were great as well. I'd recommend this place. read more

First time at this location and excited their fish tacos is just as good as the one I frequent in Santa Ana. This one is less crowded and plenty of seating. No need to have a friend reserve seating while you wait in line for food. The asada tacos are tender and another one of my favorite items to order here. The only thing I noticed was the rice was not as buttery as other locations I've been to. The guacamole is made fresh as are all the condiments, salsa verde, pico de gallo, pickled red onions, but no more carrots. They are fairly consistent with their food from location to location so I know what I order will be made right. The staff is kind and accommodating. Parking is plentiful. read more

We were trying to leave and had asked twice for a to go box and after sitting around for 15 minutes and just watching him chat with his coworkers my husband walked to the register and said " Can I please get that box I've asked twice for..." The positives: very friendly staff. No long wait for dinner on a Monday night. We didn't get sick. Honestly, food tasted basic, nothing exceptional or unique. Not-so-positives: $80 for 4 people. Shrimp taco was $6, and this is a small corn tortilla with 4 tiny shrimp on it. Chicken tortilla soup bowl was $7-$8 and so small! Literally had 5 pieces of shredded chicken, 1 slice avocado and 7 pieces of zucchini with 4oz of broth. We did not over order, we left very unstratified and unfortunately we will not return. This was our first visit, and maybe we didn't know the "right" thing to order to get the best bang for our buck? I asked a lot of questions when I ordered, so there was certainly an opportunity for the staff to clue me in. $80 for 4 people for quick serve is just ridiculous. I would gladly pay that much for table service & complimentary chips & salsa elsewhere, which is what I will do. read more

Baja Fish Taco, or BFT and my wife and I affectionately call it, has to be eaten every week or my universe is totally out of whack. Neither of us get the fish. Ever but we don't miss out on the BFT experience. The chicken is grilled to perfection and always good. Wife gets the tacos or the bowl and I always get enchiladas. I used to always get tacos. Before that I always got the chicken burrito. The burrito and tacos are great when you hit it with a lil Tapatio which is always available on your table. The guacamole is some of the best in all the land and yeaaaahhhh it might be $8 or whatever it is now but it's damn delicious and you get the big container to fill it up with a salsa from the salsa bar and we always opt for the Pico. So glad they're finally open!! Had the Ensenada style fish tacos which were there classic beer battered style tacos and it was amazing. The batter was not overly battered at all, and the flavor was very flavorful. It's different than Taco Nazo, which I still think is slightly better because of their batter and fish was more tender and flaky, but this place still will not disappoint. The customer service has seriously gone down over the years and recently we keep getting stuck with rude managers and workers. For how much the food costs you would think they would put in a bit more effort. I've done dine-in and take out orders and the employees are more focused on goofing around and laughing than paying attention to the customers. I love the NorCo location and was excited to have one near me in Brea. I'm just so disappointed and sick of dealing with the disrespectful workers at the brea location. I've had consecutive wrong orders when doing take out, attitude from new hires who clearly aren't trained well or know the menu, and had enough. I am so glad this place is open in Brea! I used to only get it in Long Beach, so it's nice to have this one close to home. I recently heard that the Long Beach location is closed right now. The food is on the pricier side, but it's really great. I absolutely love the red salsa! It's one of my faves. The service is also usually pretty good and fairly fast, even when there's a long line. HOWEVER, they are SO STINGY with their beans. I don't get it, beans are pretty cheap, so to struggle to even find enough to have one bean on each chip in my nachos is kind of crazy. Even when I ask for extra beans, its still a very small amount. I don't need the nachos to be overflowing with beans, but it's pretty ridiculous how little beans end up on my nachos. And this goes for all locations I've been to. I wish I knew the reasoning behind this, but all I know is that I want more. ‍ read more

Their fish tacos and fish platters and delicious, the platter comes with sliced fish, rice, guac, tortillas and it's all delicious. Their salsa bar is pretty great to! I wish they still had some salsa packed and ready for Togo orders... salsa bars and still kinda gross to me and I don't have time to be filling lil containers when my kids r waiting impatiently ALSO I have to say the inconsistency on the quantity is off.
