I also wanted to claim my birthday credit of $10, but I had trouble with it and she was a fantastic in helping me! Carnitas Burrito: 10/10 amazing flavor and love the avocado! Would recommend this with lime and the red salsa. Baja fish taco: 12/10 Wow!! The flavors were immaculate. I was able to get a free birthday meal from Baja Fresh and chose to redeem it at this location. I got an impossible taco and opted to make it a meal, with a large 32oz fountain drink, I chose the fruit punch and churro, and ordered it ahead via Baja Fresh's website for pickup. It was ready on time, and you fill up your own salsa and drink. I saw they have an iced tea dispenser, but I didn't recall whether it was listed an option for the fountain drink on their ordering website. Half of the meal was just chips, they gave me a ridiculous amount of tortilla chips. The churro looks crispy. I thought it was actually a pretty good churro. I liked that the drink cup has a rigid lid and came with a straw cap which helps with reducing spills. The taco was just alright. I appreciate that they offer impossible meat taco and burrito options. It was okay, decently savory but definitely not the most memorable vegetarian Mexican food I've had for the price point. You can certainly find better Mexican food elsewhere. This location has a decent amount of outdoor tables, which is nice. There is free parking. read more

Man, it's been maybe close to two years since I had Baja fresh here and maybe it was an off night but it was pretty bad. The fried fish for the tacos were overcooked and dry. Also pretty small pieces of fish. I also got a shrimp taco and only had three tiny shrimp in it. The tacos were also served in some wet liquid, which disintegrated the taco tortillas. I guesses as the last Baja fresh in the area they get to do whatever they want, including refuse to take orders in-person. You are met with a scan code to order. If you decide to stand there a while in case they'll come help anyway, they will come over to double down, and point to the sign and tell you that's the only way they're taking orders. I didn't even want to wash my hands in it. It's obviously been neglected for a very long time! It's dusty! Everything has a film of dirt! The toilet bowl has mold growing in it from lack of cleaning. I'm sure Baja Franchise would be very disappointed to see their company name attached to such a poorly kept store. Baja Fresh location is convenient for Los Gatos as it is close to the 17 and 85 freeways. ------ One star ----- I ordered on a Friday at 1300 so the parking lot was full and I had to circle the whole lot one time to find an open parking spot. The restaurant was clean and the staff member who took my order met the minimum expectations. (It's 2025. There is no customer service expectation anymore - I don't expect to be greeted with friendly salutations, I don't expect polite, professional customer service conduct and I don't expect stellar amicable customer service anymore and I was met with what I expected.) I don't fault the staff member, this is the norm today and in Baja Fresh Los Gatos. Food ordered Chicken nachos - the chips were thin chips - chicken was very sparse, I could count the 1cm X 1 cm pièces of chicken and at best there were 10 of them. The guacamole was there, nothing flavorful, but it was there. The diced tomatoes simply lacked any taste to the dish. Pork carnitas ultimate burrito. I wish I just hadn't ordered this, it was all very below average with regards to taste. Chips with cheese, guacamole and salsa. This was another regret and made me wish I had gone to the Taco Bell drive thru as I originally planned. For me, this is the last time I will choose Baja Fresh for any "Mexican" food craving. Very rude staff! After eating the previous week using my birthday reward, went back the next week to use the "Customer Appreciation" $10 reward I received. Ordered on-line, but when I went to pick up my order, the gal said she cancelled my order because I was abusing the system. The spirit of some people sometimes just can't go unnoticed. I don't know her name, but the lady who took my order has the spirit of the sun. This is the worst Baja Fresh ever. The lady that is on the lunch shift, I don't know if she's the manager or what, but she is so rude. Yesterday when I went to pick up my to go order she practically threw my order at me and when I asked her where do I get the extra sauces, she gives me a dirty look and says to me over there. This is not the first time I have had a run in with this employee. She is miserable and seems like she doesn't want to work there. I highly recommend customers to go to the other location in San Jose off Oakland Rd. They are so friendly there and actually want to help their customers. Very seldom do I toss out 5 star reviews but wow! Ok, so like the rest of the country, we are locked up in quarantine and it sucks. Baja Fresh made tonight awesome for me and my partner! We ordered 2 orders of nachos on DoorDash and we added notes to BOTH orders specifically requesting the sour cream and the guac on the side. What did they do? They sent us two huge ass plate of nachos with 2 sets of guac and sour cream on the side. Whoever made these plates tonight deserves a raise because it was fully loaded with juicy chicken, steak, tomatoes, beans and pico. They are living up to the name "Fresh" because our meat was hot and the pico, beans, cheese and sauces were fresh. Portion size: 5/5 stars Order accuracy: 5/5 stars The ratio of the beans, cheese etc was perfect for the ratio of chips. I used to order from Rubios... never again. They are overpriced and we are still hungry after. Came on a slow Saturday night around 530pm and was highly disappointed. Staff was amicable, quick to serve. The food was okay but... The nature of the inside was unkempt, especially for a dinner "rush". The men's bathroom had no soap, salsa bar was dirty and there were a couple empty bowls and no bowl where the mango salsa should have been. The cashier was unaware somehow, it seemed, of any of this.
