I dropped by for the perfect crepe, and I dare say, Baja's might be better than the ones I make at home. They've got me sweet on Nutella, of all things. I never go in for Nutella. The only disadvantage is the pricing, which they admit is hiked in light of the recent pandemic. I just went to Baja Ice Cream with my family on the way home from San Francisco. Two of us had crepes, and three of us had ice cream. The crepes were decedent and the ice cream was incredible. The owners Johnathon and Jennifer were so nice. They told us that everything, including the ice cream, was house made. I love it here. I read that service is bad, but that isnt my truth. They are really sweet here. Ive come in 5 times in two weeks and I never sense a bad attitude. They even catered to my kids rudely asking to try every flavor of ice cream available, which I thought was insanely polite. I was even annoyed. Lol. I get the vampiro and carrot juice. Baja has a great selection of ice cream to choose from. From fruity flavors to savory, I'm sure there will be one that you will like. Cookies & cream, espresso, and strawberry was our household favorite. You can order it in kid size, single scoop, double scoop to even pint size! Price point is very reasonable. They have special food items that they sell on Sundays (?). I know one of them was elotes and I definitely want to come back to try. I would also like to try their mangonada one day! Now for the bad- they have this weird vinegary smell whenever we came in. Kind of offputting, but not unbearable. Also the same lady that helped us both times we went was far from friendly. So far I have tried the soursop, strawberry cheesecake, horchata, strawberry, lime, and the mangonada. My absolute favorite was the soursop but beware that they have seeds in them! Baja Cream is way better than any franchised ice cream chains and portions/pricing are fairly in the cheap/fair range. I had a durro loco craving, came here and after 20 mins there I came home to eat it and the durro was hella stale. Ugh. We wanted to order the mangonada but they were out.
