    Fries Chicken & Waffle
    Gene D.

This is a very popular weekend spot. While there was no line, it was definitely crowded. It is a relatively small restaurant, having both indoor and outdoor seating. The walls are decorated with sports items. It was nice having a TV nearby so I would watch a sporting event while dining. Service was first rate and attentive. Iced teas and sodas are served in a large, retro style Coca-Cola tumbler. I would recommend they provide longer straws, however. The standard ones they have are a bit too short. I was craving Chicken & Waffles, so I did not bother looking at the menu. My order came out relatively quick and looked great! Do note that the "honey" in the order comes in those quick/to-go packets. It is your basic fare as opposed to something special or artisan. The waffle itself was crispy on the outside, a bit cakey on the inside. The 2 pieces of fried chicken were moist on the inside. I could not, however, discern any brining to enhance its flavor. Overall, it was a solid dish for just $19. I would say this is a good place to visit. I would probably lean towards ordering an omelette/skillet dish in the future, though.

Standard diner with all day breakfast available. Came by while waiting for my car maintenance for a quick bite. Service was nice and fast, food came out hot and delicious. Everything was decent. Less food than expected and we finished our meal with no leftovers.

Located along Middlefield near 101, parking spots are few but available. There's a good amount of seating indoors. I also liked that they had a ventilated outdoor seating area too. Bajis Signature Omelette (5/5): so yummy. Each bite was well rationed with the ingredients being used. The bell peppers were crunchy and really added an extra layer to the texture. The flavor was just right. It wasn't overwhelmingly salty nor under salted. The hash browns were amazingly crispy. Service was great. The staff did an excellent job making sure we didn't need anything. Overall, Bajis Cafe is an awesome breakfast/brunch place. Food is phenomenal with top tier customer service.

Went bike riding and passed this place and a couple of days ago, so I decided to try it. The place is really nice with sports memorabilia, even though I only saw one warriors pic of Joe Smith. My daughter and myself had the meat lovers skillet which comes with a side of toast or pancake/waffle. My daughter got the pancake and I got the waffle. The skillet was delicious, but the waffle and pancake was very rubbery and disappointing. Overall great restaurant and the staff was very friendly.

A nice, friendly, solid American Style diner. I had the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns. The biscuits were cooked well, soft on the inside with a nice firm top/bottom. The gravy was just a simple white gravy with some sausage bits. I found it to be a little under seasoned (which I fixed with some salt and pepper at the table) and it was okay. Not the most amazing biscuits and gravy I've ever had but a some 3 star and I would eat again if in the area. The hash browns were mid and just okay. Nothing special but nothing horrifying either. The staff working there were super friendly and quick and were overall great!

    Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

Best orange juice 10/10 would definitely recommend. The chicken was perfectly crispy and cooked amazingly. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and crunchy. Eggs were also great. Highly recommend Bajis Cafe.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this little diner. Went to breakfast and had a great time. The food was tasty and the service was great. The people working there tagged team the tables and made sure everyone had what they needed. They checked on us as they walked by to make sure we were good. The scene is a little dated, but it's expected for a diner. Not a bad place to grab some breakfast and chill with friends.

    Huevos rancheros

Stopped here on our way to Gilroy from SFO airport after arriving on a morning flight. While I am not a breakfast person and usually order pancakes everywhere I go, I had an California omelette with hash browns and pancakes. Daughter had chilaquiles. Would come back if in the area.

Had the pleasure to try this place after touring the Google Visitor Experience Cafe! It's about a 6 minute drive from there. Lots of parking spots. We arrived around 12:30 pm and we were sat immediately. Not that many people at first, but it was packed when we left. A homey intimate diner with personality and class. There was a miscommunication with my order because I ordered the chicken fried steak entree but my waiter interpreted it as the side order. Not much a problem but I waited about 10 more minutes until my full order was fulfilled with the accompanying sides of French roll, cole slaw, and French fries. It was very filling that's for sure. The gravy on the steak wasn't gritty but had a smooth texture and creamy savory taste that made the meat easier to chew on and enhanced the flavor. The cole slaw was okay since I wished it had more seasoning. The French fries were a bit dry so I had to season it with lots of salt and pepper. The French roll was toasted to perfection with a good amount of butter on top. Great brunch/breakfast spot in Mountain View!

I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating. Although it was a decently sized plate, I guess I expected a bit more for over $25...the french toast was like two halves of one slice, but the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were good. Coffee was nice as well, and they kept coming by to refill, which was nice and needed. However disaster struck when one of the waiters knocked off a tray from a ledge right by our table. The tray crashed onto our table and spilled water, hot coffee, and creamer all over me, and our under two year old who started crying. I rushed over to check for burns from the coffee, but luckily it was okay. After the clean-up I was waiting to see if anyone might come by to ask if anything was needed, let me know if I could get more food since I wasn't entirely finished, or at least apologize and comp our meal. Unfortunately I didn't get any replacement food, and they brought the bill and mentioned that we didn't have to pay for coffee...$68 pre-tip was a little upsetting after our experience, even though I know accidents can happen... Cafe Barrone isn't just a café--it's a place where people are remembered, celebrated, and genuinely cared for. Thank you to the entire team for making our family's moments, both big and small, so meaningful. We can't wait to come back!

The food did take quite a while to come out though. $80+ after tip. My husband and I agreed that we are happy we tried it however we think we can get better brunch for the price point. I understand it's a little more expensive because of this area. our favorite thing was the French toast. If we do come back, I think we will get just the French toast and drinks.

This cafe is super nice to visit on a sunny morning - I usually like to get a cup of coffee and pastry for breakfast and just chill outside and chat. The service is good and the coffee is always good and consistent here. I always order an iced latte and there's never been any issues.

I'm so happy I did because it's one of the few places that has a nice London Fog. I love that when you get your coffee "for here" it comes in actual ceramic mugs instead of plastic or paper. Thanks for creating less waste this way They even have metal utensils too! There is a long table inside with an outlet extension for working that could comfortably seat 6 people, but up to 10 if you really wanted to. Inside, it's bright with all the storefront glass and spacious with its open strut ceiling concept. Aside from coffee and tea, they also have salads, croffles, tartines of various combinations, and pastries so you can grab a quick bite or dessert too. Parking is limited right in front of the café but there's another parking lot in the area so I wouldn't worry about parking here either. The cloud 9 name and theme is so clever since it is right by an aviation club. The music inside is light and unobtrusive. Outside there's a peaceful, quiet patio with shade, sun, and flowers. Absolutely magical.

Very cute place with an inviting layout and feels super clean. We decided to share two dishes - Thai salad with chicken - flavorful and lots of salad. Slightly light on chicken. - salmon salad sandwich. Very tasty - fries divine. Six stars for service as they split the salad and sandwich for us so it's easy to share. So thoughtful. Upon hearing it's our first time gave us a free warm chocolate croissant as well. I don't live nearby but I think my friend who works nearby will be back with her colleagues.

There menu isn't huge but they have specialty options that rotate frequently so you can't get sick of it! The indoor seating is nice, but on a sunny day you have to enjoy the outdoor set up. There's great shading from the verandas and umbrellas. The portions are huge for everything but the salads are especially massive. You MUST try the tater tots. They are the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy and golden, without being excessively greasy. If you get the sandwiches or burgers, you can sub out the fries for free. The fries are good too, but trust me, you will not regret getting the tots.
