Bake & Chè I like the bánh da lợn here because it isn't overly sweet. However, the colors of the cake look a bit too dark for my personal preference, which makes me slightly hesitant. I've tried the chè here as well. In my opinion, chè tastes much better with coconut milk rather than regular milk , it just gives a richer and more authentic flavor. Since Bake & Chè has multiple locations, I've noticed that every store I've visited is clean and well organized. Some staff members are extremely sweet and welcoming, while a few others don't seem very friendly. Parking is generally easy to find and not too difficult. However, if you're coming with a baby, it might be a little challenging to find parking close to the shop

A fun place for this popular destination. Don't fear the line. It moves quickly. There are plenty of Bake & Che locations around Southern California, but this place is easy to get to. (Bolsa Ave) PARKING Right near the entrance to the shopping center. There's plenty of parking all around SERVICE This place is ALWAYS busy, but the crew here is pretty well organized. I think that much of the slow down in the lines comes from customers. Not in a bad way, just in a "more" way. There are plenty of "grab and go" options in a refrigerator You can order online or at a kiosk in the store. You can also order in person. SEATING There is indoor and outdoor seating if you're planning to stay put. FOOD Apparently there also are vegan options. My wife loved the drink and pandan treat. The coconut milk is served with a small tub of peanuts on the side if you're allergic. (Nice touch) The pandan is tiny, and "just enough" for that sweet afternoon treat that you're looking for. MANAGED CHAOS It's very popular in the weekend Today the dirty tables and overflowing garbage was a challenge for staff. So many people were waiting around the door. It was difficult to know who was waiting for what thing (order/pickup/table/pay). Worth it!!

Spring Break 2026 3.5 overall Che dessert franchise for us If you come, come for the avocado Che! That's our go to here. House special has durian in it (you can opt out) but our lil one loves it. Che Thai is missing for us this visit... Service is hit or miss. Avail if needed. Self ordering kiosk also avail.

I've seen a couple of Che & Bake locations around, so they must be doing something right ! :)) And after visiting Bake & Che, I can see why. This location is always crowded, but I think partially the layout of the ordering counter is literally about 10 feet from the entrance, so it can feel a bit hectic when it's busy, and a lot of times the customers blocks the kiosk, so you do t realize it's available. :(( Their specials are these baked flan and Thai desserts are my favorites. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and they offer a good selections of Vietnamese desserts to choose from. I usually ask for half sweet, and they always get it just right -- still flavorful but not overly sugary.

Got the House Special as the person at the counter said it was their most popular drink. It came with many different types of beans (red, white, mung), pandan jelly, jackfruit, and taro paste. Also came with durian so choose a different dessert if you don't like it. I really like the variety! The house milk on the bottom mixed really well with the other ingredients. I will ask for the ice on the side next time, as I thought it got too in the way as I made my way through it with a spoon. Tables were constantly being filled on the inside, but they also have outdoor seating.

Nice to see a place like this it's great dessert overall I've had better at a different similar business, the dessert was not placing anything but in a bag

This place is packed and tables are first come, first serve so there's a chance you might not get one depending on the time of the day. The staff is quick at the cashier though and you get your order fast as well. We got the flan cheesecake and pandan flan cheesecake. Flan Cheesecake- The flan is custardy with just the right amount of sweetness. The cheesecake is light and airy and pairs wonderfully with the flan. Pandan Flan Cheesecake- If you like pandan, this is for you. The flan has a good, strong pandan flavor that accentuates the light cheesecake bottom. The sauce is caramely and ties everything together. Great experience overall!

I bought 5 of these to try with the fam bam and they were absolutely delicious. Just thought $8 per jar was a bit pricey.

There was mold inside my cup the lid shows more of a clearer view (Che thai)

I was a long time customer here but I was surprised when I have seen mold inside my dessert.

Friend of mine brought a bunch of delicious desserts from here so I had to go check it out myself. The person taking the order spoke limited English so it was a bit difficult to clarify what was in the drinks. Ended up getting a drink with some items that I don't really enjoy. BUT, the coconut one saves the day!! So amazing! I would drive 30mins just to get that coconut drink. It's called smashed coconut. If you like coconuts then please, do yourself a favor and go get this right away.

Picked up a box of the sampler desserts to try. It came with 5 pieces for $7. I warmed them in the toaster oven at home and all were very flavorful and delicious. They do offer in door seating.

I went in completely blind. I have no clue what anything is on the menu. But I thought C2 looked pretty so I ordered it. I have no clue what I'm eating but it's delicious and I'll be coming back! It's refreshing and sweet! Perfect summer time snack! Gotta love Cali can always try a new cultures food every day!

Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12
