Another trip to Jersey shore this hot July day, full sun and high dew point is good reason to visit this Stewart's on the edge of Point Pleasant! My hubs and I spent many a date night at the multiple Stewart's locations throughout N.j and always love their bottled root beer, ice cream floats and other tasty treats. I noticed a huge sign advertisement for Giffords Of Maine hard ice cream with about 25 flavors and decided to try a few dips in a banana split: Blueberry, Pistachio and Banana Cream Pie!! I'm not a big banana fan but that was my favorite. ($9) WOW, great tastes, creamy and fresh! Hubs had a root beer float and a Chicago foot long Hot dog. ($6/$6) The staff are all eager to help, friendly and smiling throughout our visit. Great place for a cool treat here in PP, NJ. BTW: CASH ONLY!

Definitely a go to when I'm headed home from the beach. Stewart's classic rootbeer is my favorite soda especially with a good ol burger. Park your car and wait for them to come to your car and take your order (what I love about them). I had the burgers, fries, onion rings, and hotdogs and they're always really good. My Friend had the cheesesteak and was very satisfied! His location keeps clean and not too busy! I would certainly come back! Staff was super friendly and attentive - keep it up!

Pretty disappointing. Philly cheesesteak and the perogis were the best thing. But they charged me an extra $5 for peppers and onions on the cheesesteak???? The hot dogs were nasty looking and the texture was just off. Overpriced and not great food! Such great potential- so disappointing.

Here I am with the cook and our waiter. It was a fabulous meal!

This is the best kept secret in Point Pleasant Beach, and it's right there in plain sight! On Broadway on the left going to the beach. I remember Stewarts as a Root Beer float kind of place, and they still have those. But they have gourmet ice cream--better than anything I've had on the boardwalk or in town, and I've tried them all. We were looking for a casual dinner but fell for the temptation of the seafood sampler, and I'm so glad we did. It contained a large perfectly coated and fried filet of flounder, a crab cake, clam strips, French fries, and the best coleslaw I've ever had--and I make my own at home! Lots of tartar sauce and lemon wedges. It was a 93 degree day, and I thought we would order and bring the food home, but instead we found their covered patio perfectly comfortable, with a cooling sea breeze. We ate our fill and still had some to take home, the portions were so generous. Clearly the chef in the kitchen knows what he is doing and probably spent his culinary career in some high end places. Here you get the quality of the fancy sea food restaurants in town without the high prices. Be aware: they do not take credit cards, so come with some cash. You won't be disappointed. And like me, I bet you'll go back again! Mercy Ingraham Langhorne, PA

Your best bet here is probably a grab and go sandwich, especially for the beach. They also have a hot bar with items like cutlets and meatballs, and cold cases with various cheeses, dips and more. My parents love the eggplant pie, so of course we had to have one. This was 10/10, and the ricotta stole the show. I also grabbed a few thin cutlets. These were super thin and crispy but completely lacked flavor. Staff was super friendly and they gave my girls free cookies to go. Next time I'd love to try an Italian sandwich, which I feel like they'd probably crush at this location.

I really didn't understand the totality of what Joe Leone's had to offer but it was a great introductory experience. They serve sandwiches and hot food. Everything looks delicious I ordered lunch to go but looked amazing -Chicken parm - Hearty chicken breast that was coated with a healthy amount of mozzarella -Penne vodka- got a small portion because the weight by the pound but it was creamy, savory and completely delicious and paired well with the chicken parm ***Disclaimer food is delicious but not the most inexpensive option, so order accordingly. They do weigh food by the pound and if you get beside yourself it could get pricey. ****
