The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because the last few times I ordered Pho the chicken has been super chewy to the point where I can't eat it. Been wanting to stop by Bamboo Cafe for a while now. Conveniently located next to Spourts market. The shopping center has plenty of parking. Placed the order for pick up on the restaurants website on Sunday afternoon. Placed two entree orders and was surprised that the wait time was only 10 minutes. By the time I got to the resturant to pickup my order, it was ready to go which was great! I ordered the vegetarian banh mi sandwich with tofu and mushrooms. The sandwich was okay but lacked flavor and seasoning. I felt the tofu could have had more flavor to make the sandwich tastier. I felt something else was missing with the sandwich and perhaps a special mayo sauce would have worked well. Overall, I may come back to try other vegetarian options here but will pass on the sandwich. read more

So, My family and I have been going here for a long time. This time I called and order 2 Shrimp fried rice and one R12, get there and picked up the food and went home, to discover that the orders of shrimps fried rice had a lot of rice and only 6 tiny shrimps , let me say that again 6 tiny shrimps and my R12 meat was burnt. I called and ask for the manager to tell him my disappointment and I was told he wasn't there and When I told the person on the phone the issues, his response was- I only work here and im not manager- So I said, my order was $50 bucks for a bunch of rice and burnt meat and I wanna fixed and if you can't fixed it tell the manager I called and that im upset over what I paid and what I received. Well it's been 4 days and nothing. That's why im writing this review, not only have their prices gone up , but if you are going to raise the prices but screw people with the food too, very disappointed, I will never go back there again. I would give this place a better review except that twice I have come here for dinner and twice I have been rushed out before I was done because the kids working there were in a hurry to mop the floor and close early. The food was all right, not great, but you don't bring four entrees and cocktails all at once, and then ask how many boxes to go- literally. No mention of closing early when you arrive! So this sucks because you can't go there for dinner unless you're going three hours early like 6 pm. Lunch may be ok though. Don't plan on using their table for more than ten minutes. read more

This small restaurant I don't think ever closed during Covid. They've built an enclosed patio for outdoor dining and their pick up orders are through the roof. Yet, their service remains excellent. They operate in synchrony. Rushing to serve customers while processing pick up orders without bumping into each other. They seemed stressed but not to the point that it frustrates them which frustrates their customers. Their menu is not so cheap but the quality of food and presentation is always good. I'm viet so its a blue moon that I actually go out and get vietnamese food. I do have to say this place was definitely solid. It was really light, fresh, and tasty. We ordered some shrimp spring rolls, a banh mi, and grilled pork and egg rolls. I dug the spring rolls, although the "rice" wrapper they used was thicker than I'm used to because I'm almost certain they're those faux rice wrappers made out of flour that I've seen popping up in stores. The grilled pork was juicy and saucy and yummy. I didn't eat the huge pile of vermicelli noodles because I'm trying to eat less carbs. Overall, a nice lunch date with one of my girlfriends. What a great find! Your basic, non-descript strip mall exterior but "I love what you've done with the place" interior! It's cozy and has both booths and moveable tables for larger groups (there were two large groups , 6-8 ppl, that overlapped service while I was there). The menu is diverse with familiar items such as pho but I chose and would recommend the Salmon with vegetables! A the salmon was seasoned with a dry rub and semi blackened to perfection. Unfortunately, this is the second time that I am providing a less-than stellar review for this restaurant. Both times, there was a mixup in the order. The first time, they gave shrimp spring rolls when I had ordered veggie rolls. This time, they had packed the wrong dish when I drove up to pick up my order. They asked me to wait until they got my order right. I was almost on my way home when they called to say that they didn't fully fill the order. I had to drive all the back to the restaurant to pick up the rest of the order. The restaurant needs to do a better job of ensuring the orders are filled correctly. The food here is pretty good but many pickup customers may be turned off if orders get messed up. read more
