Orange chicken was great, green bean chicken was delicious - could have used a bit less garlic. Overall - I'm a fan.

Great tasting food and literally the best deal ten bucks for a huge plate of food and if you're dining in you get complimentary soup. I think it's great only thing is location but hey don't be a prude and pass this by just cause' it's not on the nicer side of town. read more

Worth the drive-we had orange chicken and the fish filet with garlic and scallions, fresh, authentic, massive servings, and better than any other Chinese we have had since moving to the boonies...Makes us miss L.A a little less. Great service, friendly people. read more

I usually love eating here but I've honestly had the worst service ever. I always get the hot n sour soup and when I went to eat it, it was extremely bitter and not how it usually is. We went back and they just swapped it out for something that I didn't even ask for. I decided to just order something else. When I went in to pick it up they had the audacity to ask me if I was sick since I didn't like the original soup. If something doesn't taste right it doesn't taste right. And every time I tried to explain to her it didn't taste correctly she tried to make an excuse. We took our food home and everything tasted terrible. There was no flavor and everything was cold. The food was really good. Me and my husband went in for take out on a Sunday afternoon. They weren't busy. They have really good portions and even gave us eggrolls on the side for free. They have the best eggroll I've ever tasted. Would definitely go back. read more

When I moved to Turlock I was pretty bummed out about all the Chinese food places I tried. So, I started exploring in the towns nearby. Bamboo Garden is by far my favorite. Every time I have eaten here my food has tasted freshly made and delicious. The servers are all great! The walnut shrimp is my favorite along with their chicken fried rice! I have been eating here on average twice a week for over a year now, Eva and Candy are my favorite servers both as nice as they can be. The food is always fresh and delicious and wow you get a huge plate full I always have to take it home I cant eat it all there. I love the sweet and sour shrimp fried rice egg roll and chow mein. Great food. I always order the egg flower soup when getting my lunch, well because it's included for FREE with any order, & i always get orange chicken & chow mein. The cream cheese won tons here are probably one of the best things i've ever tasted at a restaurant in Modesto. And something that's beyond awesome is the price for all of the food, it's SUPER inexpensive. I recommend you try it once if you're around. A little hard to find, okay atmosphere inside. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was because the customer service is not consistent. If you get the chinese young woman, expect bad service. read more

Just got done eating here and altough you do get a good amount of food at a cheaper price than most places, we will not be coming here again. We were seated and immediately there was a dirty fork on the table that had food on it. The table next to us was piled with trash and plates and was not cleaned until we were getting ready to leave. The restaurant in general is not a very clean facility. Anyway, we ordered a few waters to drink and they were disgusting. It tasted like cold tap water straight from a dirty faucet. So we told them it didn't taste good and the waitress did not apologize or anything, she just asked what else we wanted to drink. So we had to order sodas. When our food arrived the orange chicken was hard and the chow mein was soggy. Then when we got the bill it was about $18 in drinks alone (because there were 9 of us) due to us having to order sodas. I didn't think we should have been charged for this incoveniece so I approached the waitress and told her I didn't think it was very fair of them to charge us considering we didn't want soda in the first place. Basically there was no apology, no consideration, and no acknowledgement. Just poor customer service in my opinion. She basically admitted that it was tap water we were drinking. And I'm not picky about water, but if you tasted it there's no way you could even pretend it was half way decent. Just some consideration would have been nice. We spent over $70 in food there and they couldn't even pay for their own mistake? read more

Went on a Friday night about 6PM. Got seated right away. Staff was friendly. We ordered pot stickers which were tasty. The wife ordered honey walnut shrimp. That was okay but, kind of bland. I made the mistake of ordering moshu pork. The food came out staggered which to me is bad service. Either way, when I got the moshu pork, it had a bad smell to it. It was something I had never really smelled. Two hours later and I am not sick so, I don't think it was rotten food. It just was loaded with a lot of fillers like cabbage and onions. It was a large portion but, I left more than 1/2 on the plate and did not want a to go box. Needless to say we will not be going back. The problem is there aren't any other Chinese food places nearby other than Panda Express. We really prefer Dynasty Garden in Modesto. They really are 10 steps above this place. Oh and a pet peeve is I ran out of water and the waitress wasn't even paying enough attention to refill it. read more
