I order a shrimp soup I only got two shrimp two calamari and whole bunch of cabbage the only thing good out of it was the broth

For a chinese restaurant, it is pretty good. Got the curry chicken and it was good spicey. A tad more spicy than I had expected which for me is a super plus. The carrots could have been cooked a tad more to soften it. Thats just me being picky since I dont like eating carrots when its too cruncy. Price was cheap and portion was great. This is more of a 3 and a half star but I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 because they did a great job with the food. Even the hot and sour soup had its own unique flavors compared to typical hot and sour soup served in most chinese restaurants. Keep up the good work. read more

I went to try out this place because it was close to me at that time. Ordered the $9.99 dinner combo ($10.85 with tax). Portion is much but the taste was awful. I am not picky for American style Chinese food but even I can't handle it. I am not a wasteful person and even I can't bear to finish it. The noodle is tasteless and full of wok char smell (not the good one). Fried rice was sweet (who make fried rice sweet anyway). Orange chicken is also no good. The tiny egg roll and fried shrimp are the only two that bearable. Though portion is big but price is too high for the local market and taste did not justify that price also. This review is for the food And how it affected me after : I ordered the BBQ pork and Vegetables dinner plate. Huge portion for 1 person, I would say 1 plate can feed 2-3 people! I dislike Chinese food so much, but I decided to come and try it because my sister mentioned it was the best! Well, I tried it, we walked in, no reservations needed, we got seated right-away +1. Well, after we ordered we got our soup (Soup was ok) , than 10mins. Later we our food! -Chow-mein was soggy, but I mean isn't that how it is at every Chinese restaurant, so I stopped eating it after 2 bites, vegetables were so oily (gross) I only ate 1 broccoli after . The Fried rice was good! - After a couple bites, I just could not eat anymore. I just strongly dislike Chinese food and this is why as I continue to write ... - customer Service- The waitress only came by 1x to ask how our food was! So, lack in customer service! - After we left, I got a stomach ache, got bubble guts (Sorry to go so much in detail) , Horrible stomach pain and I just really needed to find a bathroom asap... you can imagine the rest of the night! I used to love going to this place. The foods always been Amazing. Today what I ordered was completely different from their usual method of cooking and not in a good way either. Way too much pepper in the eggs rolls, hot and sour soup was gross, too much soy sauce in the fried rice, the sweet and sour pork was gross, and the tinfoil chicken tasted weird. I also asked for two cups of chili sauce and they gave me one a quarter filled. Only three packets of soy sauce. Stomach is turning rn hope I feel better soon. Will probably not be eating from here again which sucks because if used to be the best Chinese in town. read more

I ordered teriyaki thinking it would be grilled But i opened my plate and it looked like old steamed chicken, it was very soggy i called to complain and asked why it looked like that and they said because they semi grill it and then microwave it for 4 minutes The eggrolls where good and so was the chow main but i would not recommend the chicken! read more

Got Bamboo Garden one night delivered and the food was delicious! Large portions for a great price and it is cooked great. Very flavorful. Their cream cheese wontons are delicious as well as their pot stickers! Garlic chicken is one of my favorites. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorite soups, the one here is more on the sweet side but still good, just different. Ordered here multiple time since and even for some other friends to order and they love it. read more

So I saw this little place about two weeks ago and last night decided to try it out. So it was Valentine's Day so take out sounded nice as the hubby worked late. A combination dinner sounded good $8.95 a person which included soup of the day, egg roll, fried shrimp, chow mien, fried rice and one entree, I chose broccoli beef and he wanted the cashew chicken. So I go to order, and they tell me the soup isn't included, OK I guess the price still seemed great, so I ordered a soup separately, hot and sour which is hot/spicy and says it could be adjusted at the bottom of the menu, but when I asked they said they were pre-prepared and couldn't change it. So they said it would be ready in 15 mins, we waited...got our food and went home. Wow, I was surprised by the quantity it seemed to good to be true.....it was. Now for me almost everything tastes the same, things have to be extremely good or extremely gross so if I say it's bad it is BAD and good is great. Well this food isn't even edible and my hubby who eats everything, couldn't even swallow more than a couple of spoonfulls. And yeah you might thinks it's Valentine's Day, they are full, they are in a hurry etc, but no there was two tables occupied that says it all. I really don't know how they survive. Maybe the service which was good or the handful of fortune cookies they gave us. Just go to Panda Express you will at least eat the food trust me it is 10X better. There were two of us and we ordered the family meal. It totaled to about $41.00, but it was more than enough for the two of us. Our waitress was polite and awesome. It's 2016, get a changing table! I was pretty livid when I found out that they don't have a changing table not even a counter to change my baby. Seriously they cost $150-$200...not going to break the bank. For a family restaurant that offers a variety of high chairs why wouldn't they have a changing table?!?! Because of this I had to excuse myself to my car and change my baby there when I came backing kind out m they took my families order...waited by their counter for 10 minutes before some one acknowledged me, another 5+ before they took my order. Food was not very good, my husband couldn't take more than 5 bites of the broccoli beef (he's NOT a picky eater but hated theirs), my sister order her food without onion but they put onion in it. Just for the fact that we have like 100 Chinese food restaurants to chose from in the area I most certainly will never be back. Also on the way to the restroom I saw that they use Kirkland oil...they go to Costco for their food supply....I would rather eat a restaurant that orders food from a reputable company that items are FDA approved (like Sysco). read more

We have been eating here for years but the last couple times we're horrible. I don't know if they got a new cook or what but it is nasty!! The food was cold and tasted like the meat had been sitting out for days. Today was the last time for us! we always order the family dinner and today was no different. The teriyaki chicken was very salty and came with no white rice like in the picture when ordering. I had to make white rice when I got home with my order. The walnut shrimp was like boiled white floppy pot stickers with no flavor in a sugar sauce. This is the first and last time eating their food. My husband who is easy to please, didn't care for it either. Not a good $48 experience. We both agreed we should have just got Panda at half the price. read more

I've been here a few times and the service is not that good! There were two girls the first one said, "Sit anywhere." No greeting or at least a "Welcome!" Depressing... I wanted to walk out the door, but I held myself back. The second employee was nice but was very bad at checking up on us. The first girl kept telling everyone to sit anywhere without a welcome or checking up on tables unless we hollered. I drink a lot of water at restaurants and not even once they ever checked on us! The food came in very quick which scares me sometimes, but I can't complain it tasted good and the portions are huge. But the most important thing for me in a restaurant is the service and it wasn't satisfying. I did not like the way she treated other customers too and ignoring them. :( read more

If negative stars was an option they would surely qualify. Outraged by the type of service they offer. The animosity hostile vibe when trying to order is ridiculous. This place opens at 11:00 A.M we were the third customer as soon as they opened. The young man in the beginning trying to take my order was very kind, he was explaining the menu but was rudely interrupted by the person who then tried to take our order. (JUST A FRIENDLY SUGGESTION do not speak your language as you approach customers). The waitress, owner that helped me (not sure what her name was) but she was short on patience. SPECIFICALLY I ordered string bean chicken, vegetable chow mein, fried rice. Because shrimp fried rice was an "additional cost" PER shrimp in the rice as she specified. In the amount of years I have dined in this place I have never EVER been treated the way I was today! As I'm trying to order REPEATING over and over again she refused to write anything down "rolling her eyes" telling me um No choose from here, and if I'm specifically ordering what I have always ordered what's the big deal?! She continued to roll her eyes huff and puff until my appetite was just gone. I'm disgusted by the way the service went, sadly couple of years ago this place was running smoothly. The service was great the food tasted way better and somehow something changed, and the service is now terrible. Thanks to this horrible service I found a place times better. I won't be back. Yes they give you enough food to choke a horse, yes it's cheap, and I'll even say service is attentive as they were quick on drink refills. But the food was awful. They also brought the food out one person at a time with 3-4 mins between each person getting their plates. The hot and sour soup was made using tomato soup base, the chow mein and kung pao chicken both tasted off. Hard to describe, not spoiled or nasty, but just off of what they should taste like. I called ahead and placed my order which came to $64. I live 25 minutes away. I picked up the food and got about half way home when I got a call saying they gave us the wrong order. I turn around and drive back only to find that they gave me my correct order but there was extra food that they wanted me to return because they also gave me someone else's order. They did not offer to remake my food. They lied to me on the phone and got me to drive an extra 25 minutes just so I could return the other order which they were going to now give out to the person who ordered it. By the time I got home the food was cold and soggy. My food got cold because they tricked me into fixing their mistake. DO NOT GO HERE! They may give you food that was in someone else's possession for 25 minutes prior! Unsanitary, Shady business who tricked you into wasting your own time. Side note: don't get the cashew chicken. It's disgusting and tastes as bad as it smells. Wish I could give 0 stars. Will never be going here again. read more

Had my birthday lunch there. It was the first time for me and I loved it. The hostess was wonderful. I am sorry that I didn't think to get her name as I like to mention people by name that gives great service. We were a party of 8. They even sang Happy Birthday to me. Awesome!!! The food was excellent and very fresh. I loved the table with the lazy susan in the middles of it. Our food came quickly. It didn't seem like we had to wait very long for being a group of 8. Such a big variety of food to choose from. I had never had walnut shrimp before and it was delicious. My daughter ordered it and I had to try some. The shrimp in lobster sauce was amazing. He orders & gets his food before me and walks out. So im sitting here for almost 30mins and still no food when I was told 10-15minutes. This place used to be the best Chinese restaurant in Ceres, but they have gone extremely downhill in the last year or so. My family and I will not be back again, for many reasons. To name a few; the customer service is horrible, the chow mien has an unusual taste to it, they gave me stale reheated cream cheese wontons, and my Mongolian beef had a measly five pieces of meat in the whole dish! I also find it ridiculous that if your order is "to-go" you can not have any soup, neither "to-go" alongside your order or to enjoy while you wait for your food to be ready. read more

Sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's really weird. If you order in the restaurant it's good, but if you order takeout expect all the noodles in the chow mein to be all stuck together as well as the fried rice. Food and customer service is always bomb as fuck though. read more
